Chapter 10:

The monkey charge take it stance, draws his arm and readies his muscles and in one instant he throws his punch and obliterate the log into tiny pieces all over creating a massive shock wave that blew Xian hair like a super Saiyan.

- "SAM-SSHAA!" – yelled the monkey

- "OH MAN that is some progress!" – exclaim Xian

The big guy was already preparing his next punch. Anyone could of tell that the beast really enjoy its training. Xian approached the scene calmly and try to tell it to stop but the samurai didn't pay no mind, he charge his punch and smash that log once again.

- "SAM-SSHAA!"

Our protagonist started laughing at this imagining that the monkey must have yelled that every time he strike a punch. Startled by that, his student turned around and offer Xian a surprised monkey face which made Xian burst out laughing even more.

- "Ha Ha that's it I'll called you Samsha."

- "SAM-SSHAA." - He replied as he flex his pipes.

All jokes aside he really worked hard going from the peak of earth realm directly to the middle of the heaven one in only a night that's an achievement that even Xian would have struggle to pull off. This goes to show how effective strengthening technique really can be when they're learn by naturally strong individuals. However, this was just the start Samsha was still far from having mastered the destroyer of gods, he merely succeeded in applying the form now he needed to intentionally apply his Qi on the right muscles to correctly exploit his full potential. So, Xian signed the beast to sit down next to him and to try to channel his Qi, they weren't any good way to communicate that, so he just tap on the monkey belly than his and then placed his hand on the back of Samsha to help it circulate its Qi. Surprised by that sudden influx, Samsha jumped and at the same time hit Xian right in the balls with his tail.

- "Ah you big fuck…" – muttered Xian in pain on the ground.

The monkey relatively confused by that and not happy about it since the concept of dual cultivation like that seem so strange to him. Furthermore, the sensation of it wasn't necessarily nice which is why the monkey was on his guard again. However, Xian brought an end to this small rebellion because he was piss. He liberated his aura sending shivers down Samsha spine who immediately jump on his knee to apologize. Xian was fulminating but mostly embarrass because he just got hurt by someone about 3 tiers below him.

- "YOU'RE about to work real, real hard Samsha!"

After this little accident nothing else noticeable happen and for the next 3 days Xian focused entirely on his student cultivation and finally at the dawn of the fourth day Samsha had breakthrough into the earth and heaven realm. It's curious how breakthrough work differently on magical beasts than on humans. For humans you would see impurity spit out through your pores and your body would get more refined in its bone structure and muscles density. On the other hand, Samsha is actually growing a longer tail, his blade now reach 2 meters long and his fur grew thicker and longer. Furthermore, the shade of red of his seem clearer, more refined. Seeing this kind of transformation really made Xian wonder about the actual process of breakthrough and what was the actual effect on the body; but now that he was satisfy with the result of the training it was time to prepare the real operation. After closing the cage behind him Xian took a last look at his student and in a mix of pride and nostalgia he told him:

- "I started training you only for your meridians, but you really open my eyes Samsha, if you happen to lose an arm or a leg because of the operation I'll make sure to compensate you, buddy."

Xian took the road towards his mom bedside slowly, taking every breath of the night as deeply as possible. For the past week and a half, he didn't think too much about it but operating your own mother isn't something easy to do and this wasn't the type of operation with a 99% success rate at all. There was nothing he could do about it, he felt really nervous. In order to take care of this anxiety that was creeping up his mind, he took a look at the starry sky and inhale deeply then he exhale calmly. Oddly enough this sort of breathing exercise was learned when he was the weak man of the other world that is to show that no matter the strength you possess fear and doubt are still things you need to be wary about. However, in this life he wasn't going to let those emotions get the best of him because that's what it meant to be courageous.

As he arrived at his mother's room he cross path with Chu Cheng Fen the doctor still feeling uneasy about all this he decided to talk about his discoveries and see what doctor Chu think of it. At first, mister Chu thought that the idea of transplanting meridians was completely ridiculous but after Xian told him about how the two monkeys are doing just fine he became curious. After all this was completely revolutionary. He asked if Xian encounter any trouble and he replied that he did but solve them with an heavenly water fruit; he also added that the reason the monkey encounter complications after the operation was most likely due to meridian type, like a blood type. This set the doctor aback as he asked the dreadful question:

- "Do you really believe that an earth and heaven male monkey meridians could save your mother's life?"

It was asked kindly but also a little bit reproachfully.

- "Do I really have a choice?" - replied Xian firmly.

The doctor started scratching his forehead in a silent agreement but still unwilling to take responsibility for something like this. You need to put yourself in his shoes, because yes saving the kid's mom was important but the chance of it falling and that the death of the first lady being accuse on his behalf was a much more probable outcome. Xian realizing this immediately told the doctor:

- "Don't worry I will be the one doing the operation and I will take full responsibility for this."

In any way, he wasn't going to let anyone else than himself do such a dangerous operation to his mother.

- "I only need you to assist me in sponging my sweat and setting up a big enough room where we can fit the monkey and my mother on two different tables. Also make sure the room his very clean."

The curiosity of doctor Chu took priority and nodded in agreement. In the meantime, Xian went to get pairs of thin gloves and some cloths with which they will cover their mouth to act as a mask. Because even though a normal cultivator wouldn't be affected by bacteria and such, in the state she was now any sort of precaution was necessary. So, he washed his knife and prepare clean clothes and when all he could think of was done, it was time to start the operation.
