The Ech have recovered and now it was facing them teeth's grinding with rage.
Rogue had his hands full by just protecting Shizuka while Natashia was already fighting under the effects of Mana depression and now that the Ech was clearly targeting them the situation got a lot harder.
The amount of ghouls around them was still negligible but if the Ech was able to call more than this then even escaping would become a pipe dream.
"Reee!!!"
The Ech started running forward, its left shoulder was still melting but it seems to have ignored the pain but it also couldn't move its left arm.

I cursed as I fell on my butt.
I've been trying to move around with my current body but every 2 minutes I lose all my strength and fall, thankfully I didn't fall with my face this time.

There was a slight graze on my cheek thanks to me falling over normally I wouldn't mind but this time the cut wasn't healing.
Its probably because my regeneration is Unusable right now we'll I couldn't complain about it now I'm just thankful that my reaper revived me in a isolate place because fighting with my current status I could barely even kill a single undead.

I let myself relax as I stared up.
I might as well take my time to relax since there no enemies around.

There were now some changes on my status window.
The Mana description instead of "You won't need it dumb shit" it now turned to "You shouldn't use it dumb shit" it was now clearly warning me not to use Mana.
And my Overall now had another sentence added to it.
I'm thankful for the new sentence for giving a hint so I did just that.
"I'll try and stay still but it's just way too boring"
I'm not the kind of person who can stay still without doing anything so maybe I'll do something random.
While thinking like that I saw a piece of rock in front of me.
"Eye of Phermose"

Then I turned to a piece of broken glass.

I didn't really know where I am but considering that I can feel strong winds coming from the broken window I guess I'm somewhere high up.
I turned my gaze to the floor in hopes of activating a certain function of my Eye of Phermose.

A window popped out in front of me, Thankfully the function still remained despite the skill being labled limited.
"Yes"
I confirmed my answer and the window closed for a moment and opened again.

"I see so this is one of its limitations"
My eye of Phermose can't show me all the Data's that it used to do, back when it was not limited it would show information to the point where it would block my vision.
"Sigh... Detect"

My detect skill has also downgraded to just text, it used to show me enemies as red dots and even lets me see their position but now it could barely even have an 8 meter range.
It wasn't even giving me enough details, well I cant exactly complain, the reason why it's limited to this state was because it's a skill that requires my eyes as a medium to mark enemies red and see their positions but since any physical related skills are unusable I should be glad that detect still works despite the limitations. In terms of mediums my eye of Phermose also uses my eye but oddly enough it still works.
"Ahhh I'm bored!"
I thought I should try using only a little bit of Mana but when I did I could feel my body losing its functions and the Chains of Binding tightening it's grip on my soul.
"Status window"
This time I decided to check my status right after using Mana
And sure enough there were some changes.

[Mana: "I said don't use it! Its hard enough using what was left before to recover you but now youre emptying it!?"]
[Health: "Zero, just Zero no this deserves to be negative in the first place!"]

This bastard is still rude as heck but now it gave me a useful hint.
It seems that my mana helps on recovering my body somehow.
I decided to try it out so I looked for a certain skill on my skill window
"Found it"
[Mana Conversion]-Limited
[This skill allows the user to change mana into elements and vice-versa]
This was a very useful skill as it also converts physical objects into Mana like rocks or water but right now it could barely even do that.
I was holding into a piece of glass and activated the skill obviously since glass is made out sand an earth element my skill should be able to convert it to mana.
**Crack**
The glass broke apart but didn't turn to dust.
"I only converted a small amount"
I opened my status window again and looked at the Mana section.

My guess was right Mana does seem to help my recovery.
I took 2 pieces of paper near me and activated my skill again and this time the paper turned to dust and disappeared I could feel something cold traveling through my veins and to my heart.
**Ba-dump**....**Ba-dump**...**Ba-dump**..**Ba-dump**.**Ba-dump****Ba-dump**
It was just a small amount of Mana but it was enough to make my heart beat faster.
"This might work! If I use a part of this building surely I can gather enough for me to move freely!"
With that idea a put my hands on the floor and activated the skill I put all my focus into it and soon I felt the cold sensation of converted mana traveling into my body.
*It's working!*

Rogue successfully blocked the Ech's sharp nails from reaching him, thankfully Natashia was able to handle the current numbers of ghouls around them so he didn't have to worry about the fact that Shizuka or he would be attacked.
"Reeee!!!!"
The Ech swung its hand again and Rogue blocked it with the knife.
**Clang**
A sound of metal to metal echoed after the block.
*Sh_t its nails are made of metal!?*
It looked like a normal nail but that doesn't seem to be the case after that block.
"Reeeeee!!"

*I'll get my medical attention when I get out alive! So shut the hell up!*
Another swing came towards Rogue so he raised his knife again to block but.

An announcement window came out and the skill deactivated and without the skills help Rogue wasn't able to block the swing.

Rogue was able to step back in time but the Ech still managed to reach him and now there was a cut on his right shoulder.
*F_ck it hurts I could just scream!*
Rogue glared at the Ech with pure malice but as if taunting him back the Ech stood straight and smiled widely like it was enjoying the situation. The Ech was supposed to be blind but it acted like it could see.
It was then that Rogue thought of an idea.
*I don't know if it would work but this is worth it if I can get rid of it*
Rogue turned to Natashia and screamed.
"Nicole! Give one of those bottles you threw last time!"
Natashia was desperately fighting and protecting the unconscious Shizuka but she still heard Rogue's voice calling out her original name and without even an ounce of reply Natashia took a bottle out of her coat and threw it towards Rogue.
Rogue caught it and started running towards the Ech.

He tried using his skill but it failed once again.
*I knew it wouldn't work but it would've been a lot easier if it did*
Rogue was already within the Ech's attack range but he didn't stop charging.
The Ech swung its arm if it continued it would reach Rogue's face but Rogue didn't stop and just charged.
He clenched his teeth as he ran straight.

Rogue took a big breath, his lungs was quickly filled with air and he quickly pushed it right back out through his throat, he clenched his vocal cords and in response an ear tearing high pitched scream came out from his mouth.
"Kyaaaaaaa!!!!"
It was a scream with a high frequency that it could even be compared to the feedback sound that is produced when you put a microphone near a speaker. It would make even a normal human cover their ears in pain how much more could it have affected a monster with super-hearing abilities?
"Ghe!?"
And just as expected the Ech couldn't handle the sound as it quickly covered it's ears with its hand.
Rogue didn't miss this opportunity and threw the bottle of acid straight to its face.
"Eat Shit!"

"Geeeeeee!!!!!"
The bottle broke and the acid started burning through the Ech's face but Rogue didn't wait for the acid to reach its head so he drove the knife and stabbed straight through the Ech's forehead.
"Gerrkh!"
"Die bitch" he drove it even deeper with all he could.
