Chapter Eleven: The Savior Comes Foward

"You got some balls coming here to my doorstep boy!" shouted Travis

"Travis back down! He's not worth it," said Krystal.

"Please just hear me out. This is very important that you all must hear. In what's happening to Amber," said Jackson.

So, they all sat around the table and Jackson started to tell them all what was happening to Amber, and how she doesn't have much time left. Travis got up from the table, and stormed outside. He couldn't bear to hear anymore; of the torture that his sister was going through. Krystal got up and walked outside to check on Travis; while the other two girls were listening to Jackson's story.

"I can't believe Ms. Chambers would do something that cruel to one of her students like that," said Sam.

"Well Amber isn't the only one that's been in that punishment room. Amber told me that Ms. Chambers had Sarah in there before and made her all twisted and evil. I think she's going to do the same thing to Amber and mold her into the same thing that Sarah was," finished Jackson.

(Travis stormed back inside the house) "Well what are we waiting for! Let's get my sister out of that godforsaken punishment room!" as Travis shouted.

"Well it's not going to be easy to just beg for her release. We need to do it by force and take down Chambers once and for all." said Jackson. "What sort of plan do you guys have to save Amber"

As the group discussed their plans to save Amber; Ms. Chambers is preparing for some unwanted guess that shouldn't be putting their noses in her business.

"These teenage brats think for one second that they can get through me without a fight. Well, they are wrong. No one is getting by me if I have anything to say about it," shouted Ms. Chamber.

(there was a knock at her door).

"Who is it?"

"Excuse me Ms. Chamber I'm here to collect your trash". Said Keith.

"Yes, go right ahead; do what you need to do. Make it quick though; I got some work to do."

"Yes Ms. Chamber; right away."

Keith was finishing up with his cleaning in Ms. Chambers office and noticed something on the couch; it looked like a student's uniform. He didn't pay any attention to it and made his way towards the door. Right before he can grab the doorknob.

"Wait a minute Keith, I want to ask you a question?" said Ms. Chambers, as she rose from her chair and approached the janitor with evil in her eyes.

"Is there anything else I can help you with ma'am?" asked Keith.

"I want you to lock up each doorway, window and backdoors for me. Can you do that for me; before you leave for the day?"

"Sure thing Ms. Chambers; I'll get a start on that right way."

"Thank you, Keith, now leave my sight!!!" shouted Chambers.

Keith hurried out of her office and quickly grabbed the keys. He locked each window, every doorway and the backdoors. He finally arrived at the entrance of the school. He stepped outside and was about to lock the door. Until he felt something behind his back; before he can even react, he was already on the floor.

"Damn Jackson, you didn't have to hit him that hard in the head," said Sam.

"Better safe than sorry," said Jackson.

After knocking out the high school janitor, the group hurried inside the school and shut the door behind them. Travis and Krystal were getting their first inside look of the high school; they couldn't believe their eyes. Travis started to roam around with Krystal as they walked toward each of the empty rooms. Sam and Kim noticed that they were heading towards Ms. Chambers office; they quickly ran towards them and grabbed them towards the empty hallway.

"Why did you do that for? I just want it to see if she was in there," quietly said Travis.

"You were getting to close to her office Travis, you don't know her like me, and Kim do," said Sam.

"She's just a supervisor of the freshman class. what's so special about her anyway?" asked Krystal.

"You have no idea until your face to face with the devil herself," said Kim.

"Guys enough, we got a job to do and that is to find Amber before it is too late. Now let's go; the teachers' lounge is this way," announced Jackson.

They made their way towards the teachers' lounge; creeping passed Ms. Chambers office without making any noise to alarm her. While the group made their way, Amber was slowly losing her battle to survive inside of Ms. Chambers punishment room. She hasn't been sleeping, hasn't been eating and hasn't been caring; that she'll ever be free. She now knows that this is her fate. This is where she is going to die. This is the last of Amber Banks. as she closes her eyes; she falls into what seems to be her final daydream.

Amber awakes inside of her bedroom; in the comfort of her own home. She gets up from her bed and walks outside her room; to see her loving family, her friends and the boy that drove away. As she starts to run towards them, they quickly pull away from her. Amber tries to reach for them as they get further and further away from her. She tries to scream, but nothing was coming out. She became muted. Amber collapsed towards the floor and felt that her time in this world is over. No one is coming for her and no one seems to care for Amber Banks, as she prepares to greet death for the first time.

"Amber!!! Are you in here!!!" a voice that echoed through the walls?

"who is that?" said Amber, with little to no voice at all.

"Amber!!! Are you alive? Are you hurt?" said the voice once more.

"I'm here, I'm alive. Please save me." as Amber started to cry out loud to the voice.

A sudden light broken through the darken doorway, as shadows started to approach the cell doorway. The voice came closer to her.

"Amber are you okay?" said the voice.

"Wait, that voice sounds familiar. Jackson is that you?" Shouted Amber.

"Amber"

(Amber gasp) "Jackson!!"

"I told you that I would come back and save you from this darken cell." Said Jackson.

"I'm sorry that I drove you away." Said Amber.

"You can say sorry later. Let's get you out of here, before Chambers finds out."

Jackson grabbed the key; opened the cell door and grabbed Amber. She looked up at him as he walked towards the opening of the teacher's lounge with her in his arms.

'Am I dreaming? Is this really happening to me?" said Amber.

"Save your energy Amber, you're almost home free," said Jackson.

"Come on Jackson hurry, before she finds out that Amber's gone," said Sam.

Without a moment, too soon; Jackson made it out with Amber in his arms. She is finally free from the punishment room. They got into his car and drove back towards Amber's house. Jackson placed her on the couch, in where she can finally breath the fresh air once more and enjoy the sunlight once again. Travis ran towards his big sister and gave her a hug. Krystal was getting jealous; Sam noticed the look on her face and pushed her.

"What was that for? Said Krystal.

"There's nothing to be jealous about Krystal, because your boyfriend is hugging his sister; that's in her bra and panties." Said Sam.

"Samantha!!" said Amber.

"Yea I guess you're right. Come on Travis; let's give your sister some space," said Krystal.

"Alright, it's great to have to back sis," said Travis.

"Thanks Travis, that was sweet of you," said Amber.

"Yea no problem."

Krystal walks right behind Travis and backhands the back of his head.

"OW! What was that for?" as Travis writhed in pain.

"Say it the right way Travis, and not any of that no problem bullshit," demanded Krystal.

"Alright, just don't hit my head again."

"No promises," said Krystal.

"Thank you, sis, for the nice component," said Travis.

"Your welcome Travis," smiled Amber.

Everyone was happy to see Amber safe and sound, and so was I. I still couldn't believe it that we pulled it out without Ms. Chambers finding out. But I know sooner or later, she's going to know that Amber is missing from that room. I wasn't going to let that bother me now, she's here now; safe and surrounded by the people she loves.

Later on, that evening, after everyone left. I stand behind, to make sure that Amber was safe throughout the course of the night. I sat in their guess bedroom, while Amber slept in her bedroom.

As I lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. The successful rescue attempt to save Amber, played through my mind and it was showing me different outcomes of what could have happened if we didn't rescue her in time. Why did I let these memories haunted me like this? Are they telling me that she deserved to die in that room? Was it a test that my father was giving me to choose between love or family? I couldn't come up with any of the answers. It seems like my mind was elsewhere and not here. I began to drift off to sleep, until I was suddenly awakened by screams from the next room.

I jumped off the bed and rushed quickly towards the screaming. It was Amber, she was caught in some sort of nightmare. I rushed over to her bedside and tried to wake her. She kept on pushing me away and shouting the word "nevermore" at the top of her lungs. I pressed down her arms and shouted towards her to wake up.

"Nevermore!!! Nevermore!!!," as she continued to shout that haunting word.

"Amber you got to wake up, listen to the sounds of my voice." I said.

"I'm here forever!! You won't see me nevermore!!," as the shouting got louder.

"Amber I'm here, I'm not going to leave you."

"Ever? you'll stay forever?" as her voice was starting to return.

"Yes, I'm here for you. Forever, I'm yours."

"Thank you… Jackson. I love you.," as she fell back to sleep.

I slowly got up from her bedside and placed the covers back over her shoulders. I started to ponder to myself as I closed her door and left it halfway. I stood there in the hallway, holding my head down towards the floor.

I started to feel dizzy, as I start to stumble down towards the ground. I felt my body falling closer to the ground. I reached out my hand, in the nick of time to adjust myself once more. I sat on the floor, holding my head down. That haunting word kept swimming through my head.

Nevermore.
