The Day Was Coming

After running away Xilo rushed to his room where he could be alone and safe. At least it was in a far off corner that no one ever visited so he was able to safely get there with no one else noticing him. Arriving at his room he opened the door and entered with a loud bang as the door slammed behind him as he jumped on his makeshift bed and stared at his body's changes.

*Bang*

He had no idea what had happened to him back there, in fact he didn't even notice what was actually happening until after he seemingly woke up and was finally able to remember and see what he was even doing. A part of him even felt like it wasn't even real and it was all just a dream. But seeing all the blades and changes that had happened to him combined with all those vivid emotions of anger, sadness and the pain he was feeling just before he knew it was it was real no matter how much he wanted to try and deny reality or run away.

Looking at his reflection in his blade's edge he felt as if it was trying to carve it's presence into his soul in an attempt to make him never forget. Especially hurting that girl or drinking those boy's blood after gashing them. It made him shutter at the thought of ever doing something similar to another person again especially since he had no control over himself at the time.

"What am I or maybe what happened?"

Aside from hearing a woman's voice that told him not to be afraid he didn't really remember much else from that conversation. Heck he didn't even know what his own reply to whoever that was either. Calming down some time had passed while he was lost in thought as he watched his hair slowly go back to the silvery colour it was before with small red patches through his blades reflection until eventually even his blades slowly started to disappear as well . Strangely enough though unlike when they appeared he didn't feel any pain when they went away which he was pretty grateful for since when they appeared the pain he experienced was simply too hard for him to even attempt to describe it with words. All he knew was that he never wanted to feel so much pain ever again in his life if possible. But a part of him knew that was a fool's wish if anything.

"At least I'm back to normal now. However, when will that happen again. Or will it?"

Laughing at his silliness he felt extremely exhausted as he laid down and fell asleep quickly with some vague hope that nothing would happen tomorrow.

"I still remember that look to this day."

Breathing out a long sigh Xilo stood by Xelfia's bed as his thoughts were finally coming to an end. After that day he didn't experience anything strange that was similar to that day anymore nor did he get in trouble with the clan which led him to believe no one spoke a word of what had happened to which he was secretly happy it ended up like that because he had no idea how he would deal with it. But one side effect did stay throughout the years after that incident.

"Anger Spells."

At random bursts of time that he could never predict his emotions would floor over with uncontrollable rage and anger that he had no idea how to deal with. So the only way to handle it was to vent those feelings and endure. Otherwise he was afraid he would turn back into whatever that thing was again and to cope with it he would run to his room where he was alone where he could vent everything to his hearts content until he eventually calmed down. But over time it happened more and more frequently and recently it was getting even worse it seemed. In the last year it had happened over 5 times already Which worried him.

"I just hope it stops eventually."

Also he never got to see that girl much anymore around the clan but the couple of times he saw her he always saw her intensely staring at him with a burning gaze that would frighten him back then and still did to this day just remembering it. However he didn't really remember her face very well besides her black hair which was as dark as the midnight sky to him. But maybe that was for the better seeing as she probably absolutely hated his guts and he certainly wouldn't blame her if that was the case after what he did to her. He had felt guilty ever since but had no idea what to do unfortunately. But maybe it wasn't meant to be. Rubbing Xelfia's little paw he slowly started to feel more and more tired and seeing as it was almost midnight he figured he should probably get some sleep. Since there were still no changes with Xelfia today he would just have to keep waiting for her to eventually wake up. There was simply nothing else he could do.

Days slowly passed on for Xilo. Time felt like it was moving at a sluggish pace as he waited for Xelfia to wake up. He would spend his days training in the Astral Zone or looking for the ingredients Tearia's grandmother told him about as well as talking to Tearia more and more. But while it was enjoyable for him to a certain extent it was just never the same as before and eventually days turned a weeks which turned into a month as Xilo finally hit the Transformation Stage. Xilo was finally only another month or so from his birthday now but he didn't pay much attention to it as the days continued to pass.

But one certain man who was in charge of the Fiery Clan was agonizing more and more as it got closer and closer to the dreaded date of Althea visiting him but he still couldn't think of a plan or a way out as he sat at his desk dreading the day she arrived.

"Damned woman. Still causing me so much issues even after all this time."

Clenching his fist he heard a knock at a door as he broke out of thought and let the person enter.
