The Fight For It All

Exiting the pathway Xilo and Xelfia took a second to breath a fresh air after being in a normal environment again before turning towards the only path in the room that they hadn't entered yet. "Three more left..."Xelfia and himself had only done two of the five tests which worried Xilo a little but they were making progress which was good. "One step closer." Thinking that he turned to check on Xelfia as he gripped her hand a little tighter before moving forward.

"Come on."

Ignoring everything around him Xilo approached the door and put his hand on it like all the others before him figuring it wouldn't be any different. However pushing did nothing as he sat there and waited. Confused about the situation he was just about to take his hand off the invisible wall when he heard something spark directly above him.

*Fwoosh*

Panicking at the difference he hadn't seen before he jumped back as fast as possible and looked towards the sound ready for anything with Xelfia beside him. Looking above the door where he thought it came from a blue fire started to blaze as it grew bigger. Watching it grow bigger his vigilance increased but eventually it settled down as he watched it turn into two blazing numbers.

"2 out of 2, Looks like you'll be probably get stopped here without completing the other tests"

Looking at the numbers above after seeing Xilo's panic from before she had to stop herself from laughing as she used her free hand to cover her mouth. Once she got that out of her system she went back to normal as she stared at the numbers on the wall while taking another look around the room. She hadn't really payed attention to them before but after seeing those memories she was a little more curious about everything that was in this place.

"Most likely, though we've passed them all here so you can calm down a little XIlo, nothing to worry about...."

With that her sentence trailed off as she laid her eyes on one drawing on the wall that sent fear throughout her whole body and shook her to the core.

"Right, I'll try to get better about that next time."

A little embarrassed with himself and how he had been acting lately Xilo tried to shrug the feeling off as he tried to walk back up to the pathway only to be stopped once he felt his arm being bent behind him without moving as he felt pain run through his hand while no longer able to move forward anymore. Turning around quickly he wondered what happened only to see Xelfia rooted in place holding his hand still as her grip tightened while her body was shaking slightly. Seeing her like that he was confused for a second before he walked back towards her ignoring the growing pain in his body and grabbed Xelfia's other arm.

"Xelfia? Xelfia?"

Shaking her a little bit he tried to see what was wrong with her as he began to worry. Ever since the beginning when they entered this place together Xelfia wasn't acting the same as her usual self. He thought it might have been for similar reasons to his at first but after the snake incident he had begun to think differently and now something else was happening again.

"It's...it's....it's..."

Interrupting his thoughts he heard Xelfia's shaky voice leave her lips quietly without any confidence. Unable to hear her clearly he listened more closely as she repeated it again while looking at one of the walls the entire time.

"It's...that...thing.."

Hearing her clearly this time around he wondered what she was talking about exactly as he followed her line of sight and landed on one image in particular that filled almost the entire part of the wall. However all Xilo saw was a small lizard near the bottom of the image surrounded by what looked like different blades of grass as a human like figure with a couple blades assumably being carried by the figure while it took up almost the entirety of the wall as it stared down at the creature on the floor. Not really understanding what was happening he turned back to Xelfia to see that same look of fear still on her.

Seeing her like that Xilo moved into her line of sight trying his best to block the drawing behind him. He didn't really understand too much why it brought such fear to Xelfia but with her current state and the way she was acting it was probably best she didn't see it anymore or who knows what might happen to her mentally.

Gaze frozen on that drawing horror filled Xelfia as she couldn't look away from that dreadful creature as her Astral Energy started acting up for the first time ever in her life while agitation slowly filled her while losing control of herself. So many thoughts and different emotions swirled inside of her head she felt like she was going crazy for an instant.

The memory of before kept filling her mind as she watched the dragon face that giant creature that filled the sky as it's golden scales slowly dimmed over time. The first time around she didn't get a very good look at the giant figure they were fighting and well it still filled her with dread with it's presence alone she only felt some fear from it. But after seeing that drawing on the wall she could finally see it more clearly then before. A being that filled the entire sky and darkened the entire world with its body alone with spikes poking out of here and there that looked like giant mountains. But from her perspective it still looked somewhat human as Its eyes held a silvery night star glow as it looked down at the world calmly crushing dragon after dragon in it's hand with ease while the ground raged in flames of destruction. Unmoving no matter how many attacks were thrown at it as time went on while slowly all the creatures around it grew smaller in number.

The sight sent shivers down her body as her instincts screamed at her to do anything in her power to run or look away. But she couldn't do anything but watch on as a spectator to the horror as the scent of blood and smoke filled her nostrils while she stared at all the creatures near her fighting together as one.

There were dragons, vampires, Deathkulls and even some humanoid groups of people she had never seen before as well as all sorts of other Astral Beasts and even demons that were rarely seen or talked about nowadays alongside each other. She might not have even noticed them if it wasn't for some of her other memories where she learned about the difference about them compared to other creatures like .However no matter what they did as timed moved on nothing changed for any of them while attacking the creature in there sights nor did the creatures position ever change except when it attacked and as time went on all these different groups of people slowly began to lose there numbers as more died or were injured.

Looking at the golden dragon that seemed to be the leader she watched as the dragon looked up at the creature that threatened their world but she didn't see any hatred or anger in it's eyes. Only sadness and loneliness that she couldn't understand as the creature continued their slaughter without stopping until eventually her vision faded to black as Xilo appeared in her eyes while she lost sight of the drawing on the wall.

"Xilo..."
