In A World Of Dreams....

Walking over to his bed Xilo wiped the tears from his eyes as he laid down and stared at the ceiling without moving. "....Gone." taking shallow breaths he tried to calm himself down as he laid there embracing a feeling that was foreign to him for so long that he didn't exactly know how to cope with it. That sense of loss dug deeper than it ever had before in the past and he wasn't ready to accept it. "I guess I can't run from these thoughts anymore." The whole time he had been silently hoping to be proven wrong by the world but it hadn't happened yet and he was ready to give up.

"And yet...."

Even feeling that the most frustrating thing to Xilo at the moment was the fact that his heart was only cracking it still refused to break completely almost as if something was quietly sowing it back together whenever there were too many cracks. "Why? Did I not love her enough?" He didn't quite know the answer to that question just yet. "It's my fault though." Maybe if he didn't push Relia away or if he had a little bit more strength things could have turned out a bit differently. "You are not strong yet Xilo." Scolding himself he felt his mind grow tired as he gave up bashing on himself and tried to sleep instead.

"Maybe it'll help."

Feeling his eyes close he began to sleep and enter the world of dreams once again to find some peace while the world around him continued on.

Feeling water splash on his face a young boy looked around an unfamiliar room he'd never seen before while pain threatened to destroy his body with every movement. Carefully moving his arms he felt a chain hold him back from moving as it dug into his skin as another splash of water hit his face waking him up completely this time around. Blinking rapidly he cleared the water out of his eyes best he could while he looked at the grey dreary room he was currently in before he spotted the person who disturbed his silence behind a set of metal bars a little ways away from him.

"..."

"Looks like the brat is awake."

"Thank you, you may leave."

"Are you sure? he's incredibly dangerous....."

"I know what he's capable of but I know what I'm capable of as well. I'll be fine, now leave."

"Yes, Ma'am."

Hearing her strong tone he gave up trying to convince her and left. He knew who the more scary person between the two of them was after all.

"Grrr."

Looking at the two figures of a man and women he slightly snarled at them hoping they would leave him alone with that but unfortunately he only heard a slight laugh from the women while the man backed away leaving after his job was done. Disappointed that nothing changed he tried to move his body forward to see if that would work but the chains holding his arm snapped tighter keeping him in place even while he was using all the strength he could muster at the moment. "Mmmrrrr..." Seeing his struggle was pointless he gave up as he looked at the ground around him and noticed the blades sticking out of his body still.

"Hello boy, Care to introduce yourself?"

"....."

Staring at her beautiful silver hair that fell past her shoulders he didn't care to respond to her. To him she was just a useless tool he would crush sooner or later after he healed. "I got caught." Thinking back to that old man who showed up in front of him he slightly shivered in fear at the strength he showed but that just made him want to fight the man again and if he ended up dead for trying again he didn't really care there was nothing left for him in this world anymore, not after what he had done.

"Hmmmm...so you refuse to talk, in that case."

Saying that she spun her finger around a little as she tightened the chains holding the boy and slowly began to break his arm bit by bit. If she had to hurt him she didn't care, He was just a lab rat to her at the moment especially after all the chaos he had caused and while she could be kind and gentle, the boy didn't deserve it. She wanted information plain and simple. Feeling his arm begin to crack so suddenly he almost screamed in pain as he felt his entire arm cracking and turning into dust but he didn't say anything.

"Figured, he's more beast than human at this point, dammit"

With that she latched another chain onto him with her Astral Energy and started the same thing on his other arm with a smile on her face the whole time. With his other arm Finally feeling similar pain he felt himself breaking as he panted wanting it to stop but before he could say a thing his legs felt the same pain soon after. "Bitch.." Feeling all the bones in his body he couldn't even speak if he wanted to at this point but thankfully it soon disappeared as he heard the question again.

"So what's your name boy?"

"...."

Looking at that sadistic smile that sent shivers down his spine he gave up resisting as spoke for the first time in a long time.

"It's....Xilo."

"See! That wasn't so hard now was it and since you've said your's you should know mine now, after all we'll be spending a lot of time together for the next couple years."

"...."

"You may call me Althea, Try not to forget it alright?"

"No promises."

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll get along nicely boy as long as you listen. I need you after all."

Hearing that confusion entire his mind as he stared at the women in front of him wondering what the hell she was thinking as she opened the bars and walked inside the room alone with him.
