Walking in front of an older looking Inn House she took in the view of it while scanning the area. "Nothing." The first thing she had done since entering the town was tracking any Astral Energy she could find from him and that eventually led her to here. It had taken some time getting lost with all the places it cut off and reappeared but she eventually found the source of it. "This is where it gathers the most it seems but somethings blocking my senses now." She could feel herself even getting weaker regardless of the Astral Energy she was absorbing from Xilo leaving her a tad bit confused.
"This isn't natural."
Staring at the Inn Althea tried to figure out exactly what was happening but even with her strength it was useless. "Guess I need to do this the old fashioned way." Sighing she signaled to her scouts beside her to go looking elsewhere well she pushed open the door and walked inside. Entering the main entrance she was greeted with wooden walls lined with a couple blank banners that lined the wall and a vacant front counter. "Still nothing." Walking forward she spread her Astral Energy out as much as it could but even then it could barely move anywhere she wanted it to. She felt like she was stuck in mud that wouldn't stop holding her back no matter how much she struggled.
"Helloooo."
Deciding to speak up she heard her voice bounce off the empty place as a sense of loneliness filled her soul. "Seems like no ones here, However the boy definitely was here." It was fainter than before but she could still feel her energy coming back thanks to him. "Guess I'll look around." Even if he wasn't here now it was a place he had spent a lot of time in from the looks of it so there had to be some clues somewhere, afterwards she could go to the main Clan of this place and figure out more however she was too stubborn to go there first. She felt his energy and chased after it, she had been outside of her home for too long now and without it she might have suffered immensely.
"Besides, barging into low life's homes isn't fun."
She did it before with a former member of her clan but she had very little will to talk to people so heavily beneath her. "Besides without his wife he'd be in the same boat as me currently." Scoffing at him she climbed up the steps and explored the hallway leading to a room near the very end of the hall. "Hm..." Staring at a wooden door thoughts flew through her head before she flung it open to reveal two separate beds along with some other things but most importantly to her were the clothes lying on the ground and the smell that still lingered. Walking forward to the bed she bent over and picked up a shirt that was lying on the bed before bringing it to her nose. "It's got Xilo written all over it." Along with a few other smells and energy's she had found in this room. "weird." Slipping it into her necklace she followed that stray scent to one of the beds.
"So these are the other two he is with I suppose."
Looking around the room some more she tried to find something of use like a map or a journal of some sort that he might have left behind but there was nothing. "Could have left me a clue you know." Feeling some frustration creep up on her she tried to keep her cool as she continued to look before she found a slip of paper within the sheets of the bed. "What do we have here, seems to be the name of a town." Putting that in the necklace she had on she tried to see if she could recall the name of it but nothing came to her. "Kintrel Mountains, Guess I'll need to ask my scouts." Not finding anything else she took one last look at the room as the sun shined into it before leaving the room.
"Not here it seems however I did find some things out..."
Noticing one of the smells from before again as she walked back to the main hall and went behind the empty counter following it. "Weird the other two don't follow back here." Sneaking through a back hallway she noticed another couple set of doors with off limit signs on them as she followed the scent to a room and opened the door up revealing a somewhat girly room. " I suppose this was one of the girls rooms." Taking a quick look around it she spotted a book with some writing in it and walked up to it. Standing in front of the desk she looked down at some basic writing as she read it over. "Today I'm leaving on a journey....." Reading that she smiled as she saw the name Xilo get mentioned a couple times while she bent over to pick it up. "Guess I'll take this as well." Not seeing anything of use in the room she ignored it as she walked back out towards the other two rooms as she felt her strength get even weaker than before.
"Weird."
Walking closer to the room she put her hand on the handle and tried to push the door open but this time it didn't budge for her no matter what she did. Forcing some strength into it, she pushed with Astral Strength behind her this time but even then it didn't budge an inch. "....Is this?" She had the strength even while weakened to destroy half of this city with ease if she wanted to but this door wouldn't budge against that. Noticing how weird that was she took a step back and looked at the door properly for once. "So that's what it is." Looking at the tiny symbols carved into the door she finally figured out what was sapping her energy and preventing her entry.
"Astral Carvings, however the amount of strength required to resist me is unfeasible for normal people which brings the question of why is this here."
Tossing different ideas around in her head she couldn't come to any kind of conclusion.
"I wonder if I can break this.."
