Switching Rooms and Tricks

Watching from the side the whole time Xilo let himself do nothing as he continued to try to think of a way out of here. "There's a couple possibilities here that could happen from solving some kind of puzzle to defeating everything at once. It's just a matter of trial and error while making sure we don't collapse in the process." Studying the Undead warrior he tried to pay attention to anything of note from it as it continuously got crushed. "No core or anything similar it seems." All he saw was bone ash and armour scraps.

"Look! The center pillars are glowing."

Following Tearia's hand he looked up at the pillars he had seen before as the patterns engraved on them began to glow even brighter than before as a slight rumbling entered his ears. "Whats happening?" Worried for a second he braced himself as a giant portal opened on the far right wall showing a blank room similar to their own. Without hesitation within the next second all the Undead Warriors throughout the room turned around in seconds ignoring them and the others there and bolted towards the portal without care. Even the one on the ground didn't care about the gravity anymore as it began to move in pieces towards the portal while rebuilding itself.

"It managed to slip away it seems."

Hearing the surprise in her voice he raised an eyebrow at the strength it suddenly showed in such a state as the room emptied itself of all enemies except the other people who were already here but they didn't seem as surprised as the three of them were. "So this has happened before then it seems." Assuming that from there reactions he watched as they disappeared completely along with the portal. "So they went to another room somewhere but it doesn't seem to be a permanent thing." If the other people in this room had seen this before that meant they also came back within a certain time frame but he didn't know how long they had before that happened.

"What just happened exactly, I don't think we passed the test so where did they all go? Xilo?"

"Most likely Tearia, they were forcefully teleported to another room to either give the people a break or for another reason. Either way we should use this time we have the best we can. They'll be back."

Answering her question Xilo moved forward while keeping an eye on the other group there the whole time. Regardless of them not attacking them before that didn't mean they wouldn't now. There two groups weren't allies or friends so if given the chance they might attack them for whatever reason. Anyone who made it this far already probably wasn't an idiot and trusting them wasn't smart however he wanted to explore. Sitting around getting stamina back was probably the worst way to handle this brief time they had.

"Felli watch them for me as well all right, I'm going to check those pillars out. It's the only thing in this room that seems like it can be worth something. Tearia you can come with me."

"Re-really, alright."

Caught off guard by Xilo's sudden request she followed his steps a little happily while he walked towards the center of the room while Felli silently turned towards the other group as she watched them watch their actions. Meanwhile Zilan's group was being overwhelmed by those same Undead Warriors that Xilo's had just been fighting yet something was different this time for them. Each time their attacks landed their armour would absorb the blow without problem but when they landed on the bones they were able to successfully break their bodies defeating them. None of the Undead Warriors regenerated here however in return their defense was a lot stronger than before.

"Ignore the armour and their blades. The exposed places are their weak spots you need to focus. Don't get cocky and make sure we all watch all our backs. There's a little over two hundred of them surrounding us so be careful at all times."

In the midst of saying that he broke one of the Warriors into pieces well blasting another with flames. "Weaker then I thought it'd be." Noticing the damage his flames did he was disappointed but not surprised as another Warrior came towards him. "Not exactly the training I had in mind but this'll work well for all of us." Against such a high number with such large defense even he would struggle if he wasn't careful or alone but with his friends he knew they would be fine. Especially if this only lasted ten minutes like the memory. If that was the case he had nothing to worry about then besides defending.

"Yet there's no way this is how we pass the test."

There's been similar tests before but they had a lot more obvious goals that weren't hidden like this one which led him to believe he either wasn't looking at this right or that he hadn't found the correct clue yet to lead him down the proper path. However that would have to wait until these Undead Warriors disappeared again so he could get a chance to breathe. For now he would just have to keep killing these damn things without stopping. Bashing another's open skull into pieces he watched it drop to the ground and stop moving anymore as he dodged a sword coming straight into him.

"Stay focused, we got this."

Arriving at the Pillar Xilo circled it a couple times looking for something of note besides the white lines that glowed as they ran along it but there wasn't much from what he could see. "These things are the cause of them leaving. So maybe we need to destroy them?" Curious about the strength of them he brought his hand up to it with some caution however he still wasn't prepared as his minded began to be flooded with images. Overwhelmed he panicked as his vision went blank for a second before he opened his eyes again.

"This is...?"
