The biggest problem when facing this Knight was breaking through it's armour. It had nothing inside controlling it so it had no weak points Xilo was aware of since it was a type of spirit inhabiting it. That meant the only way to defeat it was for them to break it's armour into pieces like all the others but Tearia was struggling with that. "How can I help her out." Chinks were useless and his strength needed to be used to keep it from attacking her.
"If only it stopped moving."
If it stopped then maybe he could join in with Tearia and help her out but that wasn't an easy task to pull off. "How can I get it to stop...?" Looking down at his hands he felt a chill he had long been used to as it occurred to him what he could do. "That is not going to be easy." He had trouble freezing peoples feet already and now he had to freeze a giant moving piece of armour that was just as strong. It would take a lot of effort but it was worth a shot. Making more ice he built it up slowly in his body while Tearia continued her assault.
"Keep trying to break it's armour, I've got an idea in mind."
Watching Tearia circle around it while she continued attacking Xilo pushed harder trying to break it's lock on her while he built up Astral Ice. It was going to take a lot if he wanted to freeze something even bigger than him. He needed time and hopefully this would give him enough. If not then maybe he'll break it's guard and do some damage himself. Either was fine with him as long as he didn't lose his concentration. Feeling the Knight push back slightly Xilo didn't let up due to it letting its guard slip as ice started to travel from his hands to its blade.
He also made sure he covered the ground with ice where Tearia wasn't as slowly as possible to make sure it didn't notice. If it worked he might be able to do it all in shot if it didn't have any other tricks up its sleeves. They still hadn't seen any Element coming from it so it was something to keep in mind just in case. His ice reached its blade as it started to spread like an infection along with the sounds of its back being stabbed by Tearia. "Oh she managed to do some damage?" That sound was different then her previous attacks so he assumed something happened.
*Clunk*
Piercing a bit, Tearia had made some progress after adopting a new strategy. Instead of attacking random points hoping for something to work she decided it was better to constantly attack one point and weaken it. Seeing her Lighting rod actually make a dent in it, it seemed to be working like she hoped. "It's kind of the opposite of my Astral Defense." Which was where she got the idea from. Instead of having one spot of absolute defense she made one spot of her own of absolute weakness and she was going to abuse it as much as possible until Xilo's idea happened.
"Did it get colder?"
Feeling a chill run through her body she shivered trying to warm up as she continued to barrage that one spot. If it moved she would just have to move with it but it's movements were getting slower and it paid less attention to her then before from her observation so she figured something good was happening. "I managed to deal some damage." Feeling a bit proud of herself she saw the dent increase in size with each thrust she made. She knew it was a slow method but it was a lot better than her previous attempts that had failed.
"I'm helpful."
Whispering that under breath she noticed the Statues on the sides eyes seemed to be glowing brighter than before as warmth consumed her but she didn't pay it much attention. Covering more of its blade with ice Xilo felt it trying to back off and lose contact with him. "Not happening you scrap of metal." Not allowing it take back off, Xilo froze their blades together as his ice reached it's hand as well. His ice also reached its feet helping him keep it in place. His plan was working and more effectively then he had initially thought.
"Just a little more Tearia and we got this."
"Just let me know when alright?"
Making the ice travel up it's arm he could feel it's movement finally fully stop as any signs of strength left it before it's body was completely covered in a layer of ice. "Did I do it?" Looking at the silver armour shine even brighter than before in a darker shade of blue he let go of the blades he was holding as he reinforced the ice. Thankfully it was a lot faster then before since he didn't have to split his concentration.
"I think that's good now. We can either turn it into scrap or move on now."
"Hey Xilo does it feel a little warm to you?"
"Not really why?"
If anything she should have been feeling cold so he was a little surprised to hear such a question coming from Tearia however before he could get his answer from her he saw a flash of red that blinded him for a second. "Hot!" Feeling a scorching heat run over his body he felt himself burning before it quickly ended as the flash disappeared. Opening his eyes he looked for Tearia first only to see the Metal knight Unfrozen attacking her again.
"Of course it unfroze itself, Dammit."
He didn't know how it happened exactly but it seemed to have some kind of built in defense against the cold. "So is it's element fire then?" He didn't actually see it use it but after that heat blast he could only assume that it had come from it.
"So then how do we go about this exactly?"
Thinking about it he ran forward to help protect Tearia before she got hurt.
