A Deep Worry

With his ears being blown out he had a hard time trying to listen to the scream properly. If Tearia said it though he figured she had heard something he hadn't. She seemed to be handling this a lot better then him from what he could tell. "I don't hear it though." Trying to keep his ears safe he heard the scream die as he felt his body relax a little bit. He didn't know how frequently they would happen so he kept himself a little prepared in case another happened again.

"Think you know why you find it familiar?"

"No, I just feel like I've heard it before that's all, sorry."

"Don't be, there's no reason to be sorry. For now just keep yourself ready and let's find it."

He didn't know whether Tearia's words were a good sign or a bad one in this situation. Seeing different colours come into view Xilo picked up his pace as Purple and white came into view. Stepping into the main room he looked at the Statues on his side and noticed their eyes were faded out with some even being smashed. "Some people have been here it seems." Looking around the room he tried to look for any signs of activity yet there was nothing except more broken statues lying around.

"Weird."

"It seems more people figured out to break them."

"yeah but why do it here? There's nothing in this room except a couple of choices. Doesn't really feel like there's a point except just to get violent."

"Who knows what's going through their mind Xilo, Most people here just do whatever they want."

Walking to the center of the room Tearia looked at the four different doors surrounding her as another scream broke out. "So annoying." In this room now though she could finally get a better reading on where it was coming from. Doing her best she turned towards the Purple Statues and the door Felli had travelled through. "No..." A bit of dread ran up her spine as she linked the scream to Felli. She didn't know if she was jumping to conclusions but she was worried.

"Xilo, I think that scream might be Felli's."

She didn't know if she should really have cared about that as deeply as she did after what happened however she couldn't stop herself from doing so. Unconsciously she took a step towards that door before a loud thud echoed in her ears as well. Stopping she saw the exit get blocked off by a giant stone wall. "It looks like whatever it is wants us trapped here." With how big that thing was she doubted they could move or destroy it.

"I don't know if you're right or not Tearia but it looks like we don't have much of a choice anymore."

"Then should we check it out?"

"Yeah."

Not much power was in his voice when he said that but he knew Tearia was a lot more attached to Felli then he was. So it was best to just follow along and help her if she really was in danger. With their exit blocked off now there had to be some other way to open it up. "Every place has a way in or out, you just need to find it." Until then he would help Tearia, besides he couldn't deny a small part of him was worried too.

Hearing Xilo agree, Tearia no longer cared about anything else as she ran ahead ignoring Xilo's fading voice in the background. Right now she just wanted to get to her friend as fast as possible and make sure she was alright. "Felli you're an idiot." Getting angry at her for leaving all by herself she heard Xilo running right behind her as they passed by a scrap of metal that was probably a Metal Knight at some point as she spiraled up the stairs.

Up one set of stairs she saw another similar sight as a knight was collapsed on the wall with another set of stairs unlike their experience before. Following it up she didn't care for anything else as she rounded the corner as a scream much clear then all the rest attacked them again. This one didn't have the same power as the rest of them though but it affected Tearia a lot more than the others. "Felli." She definitely heard Felli's voice in that one as she rounded the corner.

"Felli!"

Guided by a purple light Tearia looked at the room trying to find her friend. In the next second she spotted a man though instead. He was crouched slightly over something with what looked like a sword in his hand but when he heard her approach he stood up and faced Tearia revealing a sight she wished she didn't have to see. Lying on the ground was a woman with long black hair that she recognized. "It's her." Except at the moment Felli had a giant spike pierced straight through half of her chest that pinned her to the floor which stopped her movement completely.

Looking at the blood flowing out of her body Tearia felt tears begin to form in her eyes as she looked at the man who was holding a sword in his hand as he stared directly at her. From the looks of it a couple of arrows were sticking out of him but there wasn't any significant damage from what she could see. "I see, so this is the bastard who hurt her." Channeling her sadness into anger she stared at the tall man as Xilo finally caught up running around the corner.

Panting he looked at the scene in the room as he looked at the man.

"Dammit, I was right."

Scanning the man he connected his image to the statues and the memory he had seen in that room as his worse thought came to life. "This is what happens when you try and go on your own" Looking at Felli who was currently barely conscious he felt a bit of sadness but he was mostly focused on the resurrected King.

"The King."
