Tearia's Choice

Feeling her body healing Tearia stayed quiet as she watched everything that happened around her. "Faster please." After Xilo helped her out she was healing even faster then before but it wasn't as fast as she would have liked. If she wanted to help she needed to wait for her body to heal more or get reckless and after her last little fight with the King she tried to hold herself back. Staying as a spectator she felt body hit the ground as a tinge of pain went through her.

"Ow."

Softly whispering that she looked at the two girls to see if they were okay before checking on Xilo again. "Oh no." Seeing the King closing in on him after he collapsed Tearia began to panic. Looking to the others she hoped they would be able to help him however they weren't in the best condition either. Tearia watched as he tried to back away as much as he could while thoughts raced through her head. She was trying to think of some kind of way to help him.

"I can't do nothing, not again."

That meant she only had a couple options for her to choose from though and none of them were ideal. Going through the list she saw the king approaching Xilo as she began to push herself up. Slow and steady she got on her knees as the other girls finally noticed her before trying to stop her. She did her best to ignore their concerns though, right now was not the time to be worried about herself. "If I don't do anything he'll die." Brushing off Marie's hand that grabbed hers she looked up into her eyes as some anger ignited.

"Let go of me."

"You know I can't do that right?"

"I don't care, he needs me right now."

"Have some faith in them. You'll just get yourself killed in this state."

"I'm tired of sitting on the side lines and hoping. Right now he needs me and there's something that I can do. Faith or whatever else can fuck off for this moment. So let go of me before I attack you as well.

Staring into Tearia's purple eyes as she held her hand Marie let loose a sigh as she tried to think about what to do. She wasn't given much time though as she felt a zap reach her hand with tearia's growing impatience. "Why are you so persistent in trying to hurt yourself?" This was the second time Tearia had refused to follow her advice and there was nothing she could do about it. Feeling the little tingles turn into zaps she let go of Tearia's hand before it got any worse. Watching her stand up she sighed as she gave up and focused on Felli.

"Don't worry I'll be fine."

"I hope so."

Standing up straight she aimed herself right at the king as more Astral Energy ran around her body charging up. "I'm sorry Grandfather but I might follow in her footsteps at this rate." Apologizing to him she chose the only option she could think of in the moment as she felt her body turning lighter and stronger. Within a few seconds she watched her limbs turn into Lightning as she struggled to maintain it. "Let's find out what you're capable of." She didn't know how long she could hold this incomplete form but it was good enough.

With large crackling sounds and a roar of thunder Tearia felt like her body was on fire as she rushed forward in a blur. The final goal of her Grandfather's teaching was turn yourself into lightning, which she had very forcefully done at this moment. It was incredibly unstable and only a couple of body parts had morphed but for now it was more than enough. Any more then this and she was just asking to get herself killed. In less then a second she felt her body screaming at her as she slammed into the king as he hovered over Xilo.

Taking her arm she used it like a spear as she pierced straight through his already weakened point and stabbed right through it before quickly dispersing all of her energy anywhere she could. "That was close." She could feel her insides burning as sweat covered her entire body without stopping. Panting she tried to catch her breath as she felt blood drip onto her hand as the king stayed motionless. "He's dead right?" Her vision was blurring and her hair covered up her eyes so she couldn't see properly but nothing else was happening.

"Ha...ha....hahaha."

Hearing the King's laughter her body froze for a second in panic before it settled down.

"So, you were the one to end it."

Hearing that quiet whisper she let out a breath of relief as she felt the King stop breathing. "It's over." Feeling her adrenaline calm down finally she wanted to collapse. She was in so much pain and exhausted beyond belief, her consciousness was fading but she still had one more thing to do. Looking at Xilo as he stared up at her she couldn't make out what his face currently looked like but she didn't care. Opening her mouth she tried to say something however no words came out. In the end she settled for a smile as she felt the world fading from her.

"I got you."

Catching her Xilo let the King's body fall to the ground as Tearia fell on top of Xilo and right into his arms. Passing out Tearia felt the world go black around her for a few seconds before something pulled at her mind. Following it she drifted through space for a couple seconds until she felt herself waking up again. Opening her eyes she looked around the place as she tried to figure out where she was but besides one little bench in a courtyard filled with all different coloured flowers she had no clue where she was..Lying there on the ground she tried to think of something as she noticed the backside of a man sitting on that bench seemingly waiting for someone.

"So you're finally awake, come here."

Hearing his stoic voice call to her she froze.
