Improved Combination Attack

The few gaps Xilo showed in his attacks were closing as more time went on. He was going from a beast that thrashed around wildly, lashing at everything in his reach to a much more refined patient style."He's polishing his style against us." Even if this form Xilo had the instinct to get stronger it seemed. That didn't make Xelfia happy though, instead it just pissed her off more than anything. This strength right now was clearly not XIlo's.

"Hey Xilo! Are you there or are you going to keep fighting us? That man is gone, you can stop now. We're all here for you regardless of your current state."

All Xelfia received in reply to that was a blade threatening to cut her into two. Clicking her tongue she blocked the metal part of her fists. Xilo's blades may have been sharp but they couldn't break these weapons. Running in from the side, tearia swung her Scythe at Xilo's opening as they finally landed an attack. Seeing blood spill out from his body Tearia felt sick but she pushed on. "He can heal it afterwards." Telling that to herself she slashed upwards as she dug some of her Astral Energy into his body.

"I told you that wouldn't work Xelfia, he isn't listening. Even if could right now I doubt he would want to. You're seeing the ugly side of him that he tried to hide.

"Ugly side of him? I don't think that at all. I think he's quite attractive in this form if anything. Besides the zero control."

"What...You're even crazier than me."

Tearia was exasperated that Xelfia just called Xilo's current form hot.

"Being crazy is good and I'm sure Relia agrees with me, right Relia?"

"...Nnn."

Silently agreeing she felt a little embarrassed about it. Most people should be scared of Xilo right now but here she was admiring his blades. The sharpness that threatened to tear anything in his way apart. That raw anger and crazy look that sent shivers down anyone's spine. Those deep red eyes that pierced through the darkness and straight into their soul. There was just something about it that didn't make Relia and Xelfia want to run. instead of seeing it as something scary they just saw it as another part of Xilo. To them they could never hate or be scared of Xilo. ""So what if he looks different now."" Everyone had differences that you would learn to love.

"I can't believe the both of you."

Shaking her head Tearia was fed up with both of their silliness. There was a part of her that couldn't disagree though. Deep inside the fear inspired a sense of protection in Tearia. Even in this form of his, it never left. Shocking Xilo, she watched him stumble back as another opening showed itself. Xilo wasn't the only one getting stronger off of this fight alone. The three of them were growing stronger and working together better as a team. They were bonding in this fight and polishing their team work. If they all wanted to be by Xilo's side then that's what was needed. Following up on Xilo's stumble, Relia blew a gust of wind his way knocking him down.

"..Xelfia...chance."

"I'm on it, thank you Relia."

Focusing entirely on the earth power inside of her she sent hundreds of bindings his way before he stood back up. While she was restraining him Relia threw her hand up in the air as a ball of water swirled to life. "Hey Relia." "Yes Azalu?" "Make sure it hurts just for me." "Xilo won't like that you know?" "Maybe but he deserves it." "Haha, fine." Silently smiling she gathered up a huge ball of water that was almost the size of a house way faster than Xelfia did as she turned to Tearia.

"..Tearia."

"I got you."

Struggling to break out of his bindings as he laid on the ground, Xilo was overwhelmed. He could break a couple at a time but they were just replaced instantly by more. He was stuck with nowhere to run just like before. A small memory from somewhere resurfaced for a quick second as he saw himself get held down by a man and a woman. Surrounded by hundreds of people, blood scattered the ground he laid on as he ran out of energy. Watching that girl walk towards him he flinched in fear of what was about to happen to him.

"Hello boy, I think a collar and leash suits you quite well, don't you?"

Those were the last words that he remembered before his memory faded. Brought back to reality he looked up to see a giant sparking ball of energy aimed right at him. Panicking he started to devour everything he could get his teeth on. He didn't want to go back to that life even if it killed him. He was no one's dog and he had no master besides himself. "If that's the case, start acting like one. All I've seen is you acting like a mad dog. Expect to beat Althea like that? Pft what a joke." A woman's voice rang in his head calming him down as he lost the will to struggle.

"Don't forget about me ladies, I'm a part of this too!"

Jumping up behind Relia, Xelfia punched the ball in front of her and sent it flying straight at Xilo without any hesitation. If they wanted him back this is what they had to do and this was their strongest attack. Separate they couldn't do much alone yet but together they were a lot stronger. Watching it fly at him like a meteor descending they heard the sound of it crashing as the ground broke beneath him along with all of Xeflia's bindings. Waiting a few seconds to let the dust clear, the girl's held each other's hands hoping for the best. Soon a tired face entered their eyes as blades slowly retracted into his body.

"We did it."
