Looking over Xilo, Seli thought about whether or not to use the method from before. "If I inflict a massive amount of pain on him it should activate." If she just copied the man from before then it would be easy. She almost did just stab him right there to try and drag it out of him however she stopped herself. If she did that all the women around him would probably attack her in an instant without much chance to explain. The other reason was because he wouldn't really get a chance to control it then. So it was best to take it slow for now and without another way only then would she resort to pain. "I have a few ways to activate it anyway." Folding her arms she began to speak.
"I assume you have zero idea on how to activate it?"
"Yeah, no concrete ways at the very least. I haven't really actively tried to use it though so I can't say for sure."
"Alright, I want you to look inside yourself and find some energy that's lying dormant inside of you. It might feel different compared to the rest of your energy if that helps at all."
Listening to his words he shut his eyes and explored the energy inside his body. He didn't really know if it would work but he was willing to give anything a try. Exploring the ocean of his body he looked for anything weird that stood out from surface level. Nothing felt weird to him though so he decided to look deeper. Traveling deeper in the water he felt himself being suffocated by his own strength as he reached the bottom. There he looked at the ground trying to find something different.
"Something that feels weird isn't much to go off.."
Nothing felt weird even when he was this deep. Walking around he looked for even the tiniest of things that might be it. Besides clear sand that filled his vision though there was nothing. "Hmmm?" Looking around for what felt like hours he eventually stumbled upon an underground cave that radiated heat. "Is this it?" He didn't really know but as he got closer to it a sickening feeling overcame him until eventually he felt himself get stopped by a barrier. No longer in control of his own energy he couldn't move forward an inch. Forced to retreat he sighed as he opened his eyes and faced Seli.
"I think I found something that fits your description. Though how'd you know it'd be in there?"
"Just a little bit of a guess, If that power is a part of you then obviously it's hidden somewhere inside of you, you just need to find it."
She couldn't tell him that she had faced the same thing before. She wasn't ready to admit that to him just yet so she had to come up with lies. She didn't know whether or not Xilo bought it though as he began to quiet down. "Why am I hiding it though?" That question flashed through her mind as she continued to guide Xilo. Just like the one before her she would do the same for him. She wasn't alone in this world anymore and she had found someone similar again. She didn't want him to go berserk and die like her old friend did. If that happened she would be letting herself and her friend down. "We aren't monsters." They were just different and new without anyone to guide them.
"Well I found what looks like the source of it but it was covered in a barrier that wouldn't let me through. After that I just left, figuring it'd be best to leave it alone. What do you think I should do about it?"
"A barrier huh...Well If you want to get better at controlling this power you'll have to take it slowly at a time. So try your best to open up a small hole in that barrier and let it leak out. From there we'll see what happens and go from there."
"What If I can't break it?"
"I'm sure you can, Just give it a try. Don't be scared, the four of us are watching you."
"Fine."
Going back to that area inside of his body he quickly arrived at the barrier now that he knew where it was. Walking up to it he put his hand over it as he tried to find a way to break it. Testing it's strength out he felt slightly worried as he brought an Ice Blade out. "I only need to tear a little bit apart. Not all of it." Smashing the barrier. He held his doubts in as he was met with massive resistance. Unable to break it in one go he was forced to try again and again. Over and over he felt a spike of pain run through him as darkness started to condense in the room while he was doing so.
"It's happening."
Seli watched as that darkness grew and eventually a couple blades started to extend from Xilo's body. "This is the first test I'll give you Xilo. Let's see how you handle it." Without so much as making a scratch Xilo felt his body get weak as he stopped. Opening his eyes again he was going to ask Seli what he could do only to notice his hands. They had grown claws as blades peaked out each of his fingers. He was incredibly sweaty and exhausted with a severe irritation. Looking up he saw Seli getting ready for a fight as he sat there losing control of his body and self. A blind rage that came out of nowhere attacked Xilo as he took a step forward. He didn't know why he was angry; he just wanted to release this anger. "What's happening, is this what happens when I transform?" Overwhelmed, he slammed the ground in pain as he attacked Seli.
"Xilo get control of yourself, this is just the beginning."
"Ahhh!"
Seeing Xilo already beginning to slip out of control, Seli got to work.
