A Closed Space

Standing outside in the crowded streets Xilo stretched his back as the sun fell on his skin. He could already feel his body heating up and the day was just beginning. "Warmer weather than normal." The past couple of weeks it had been on the colder side. Watching people walk past them, Xilo headed for the exit of the city. Rummaging through his bag on his shoulder he counted the crystals he had still. "Four left, Yellow, Grey, brown and lastly purple." He had already used two of them a long time ago, ice and nature. "She wanted some of these but at a much smaller size and of two specific types." She had given him a place to look already so he didn't need to worry about where to find them, just go retrieve them.

"She's too weak to do it herself nor did she trust any random person to keep their word."

Muttering that to himself they eventually left the city and crossed the body of water as Xilo pulled out the Yellow Crystal he had on him. Looking at it for a split second he didn't even think much as he tossed it Tearia's way. Fumbling to catch it so suddenly Tearia wrapped her hands around it. Without looking at it she was about to open her mouth and tell Xilo to be more careful with these things but she got cut off. Hearing his frozen voice enter her ears she listened to him.

"Take it, it's yours now."

Taking a serious look at the object in her hand she studied it for a second before she realized what it was. A thread of electricity ran through her body, almost making her drop it. "An Elemental Crystal and a huge one at that!" She only knew about these things because of her Grandparents. Yet here Xilo was tossing her one without a care in the world. Even if he couldn't use it people would pay millions or even kill for one of such Quality. If she compared it to the ones they were going to look for now, then they'd just be cheap knock offs used to scam people. The one in her hands was the real deal.

"Are you sure Xilo, this is quite valuable..."

"It's fine, not like I can use it anyway. So I figured I might as well give it to you, oh and Relia. When we find a fire one, I'll make sure to give it to you. Sadly I haven't found one during our time apart. Hope you don't mind to much."

"...Still remember...that?"

"Haha, of course I do silly. I've been keeping an eye out for one ever since you mentioned needing that type. I just haven't been as lucky as I would have liked or It'd already be in your hands too."

Feeling a slight blush across her face she silently thanked Xilo in a small whisper as Azalu's voice attacked her. "He's spoiling you..." "You told me to get one of those though right?" "I did but still... He's spoiling you." Listening to Azalu repeat herself, Relia didn't know what to say to that as they kept walking. Tearia quickly absorbed it without a second thought. Feeling the river of energy in her body clear up a bit she felt relaxed. Her Grandparents had given her a couple of these in the past so the improvements it gave weren't as large as before however every little bit helped. Flexing her muscles she walked with a jump in her step as she grabbed Xilo's hand and gave him a peck on the cheek. Eyeing their interaction from the side, Xelfia didn't say anything as she watched.

"What was that for?"

"Nothing, Just felt like doing it, that's all."

After that they walked for a few hours and entered a forest before finding a small mountain in the middle of it. This was the place Felian had mentioned when talking about those Crystals. "She sure knows more than she lets on." For someone of her standing to find out about even a small reservoir of these Crystals was quite impressive. "I think It'd be good if I stayed on her good side." Information was a very scary threat to have looming on your back. Looking around the mountain that was about as tall as a couple of trees Xilo tried to sense any Astral Beasts. None were nearby from his quick scan though leaving him confused.

"She said she was too weak to get it but I can't sense anything, can any of you sense any Astral Beasts?"

"""Nope."""

With a solid no, Xilo's body stood on edge as he put his guard up.

"Be on alert, maybe she tricked us or there's something we're missing. We don't know much about this place so it's best we stay prepared for an attack. Make sure we watch every angle we can."

Scanning around the mountain the four of them did a complete circle of it looking for something. Besides tree's and other plants they found nothing that could make them feel in danger. They didn't even find any of those Crystals Felian was after. Confused, he asked what the girls thought, however just like them they had nothing. Wondering what was up he accidently took a step forward. Feeling a wave of nausea pass him by, Xilo disappeared before the girl's very eyes. Within a second all the girls shouted Xilo's name as he vanished into thin air before they rushed forward themselves without thinking. Feeling that same wave of nausea the girls ended up in a strange area that didn't resemble a forest at all.

"Where...are we?"

Looking around at the complete change in scenario Xelfia's voice leaked out as she spotted Xilo a little in front of them. Meanwhile Felian calmly managed her store as another customer left. Counting the money she received she felt like she had forgotten an important detail. She just didn't know exactly what it was even after a couple minutes thinking about it.

"Oh well, If I can't remember it's probably not important."

Humming to herself she waited for her next customer
