Xelfia huffed around in anger as she sat on the bed in their room. "She looks like she wants to smack the hell out of someone." Watching from the side, Xilo walked over and sat down next to her, trying to calm himself down as well. Grabbing ahold of her hand he gripped it tight while he tried to soothe her. Relia and Tearia came over as well to try and cheer her up. None of them were happy with what had just happened. Xilo's goal was essentially completely ignored in order for Telan to try to force something else onto him. Sitting beside Xelfia, Tearia leaned her head on her shoulder as she said something.
"He really did act like a giant jerk, we all saw that Xelfia. Getting this mad over it doesn't do anything though. Take some deep breaths, we're here."
"..We..all know why..you're...upset."
Staying silent Xilo let the girls talk it out themselves. He was good enough with just staying by Xelfia's side, it was the best way he knew how to calm her down. Hearing her friends worry over her, Xelfia felt her body shudder slightly as she took a deep breath. She really wanted to slap some sense into Telan after he said those things. Xilo told him one thing just for it to immediately get shot down by the opposite of what he was going for. She wasn't even in Xilo's position but she knew it probably hurt to hear. Yet he seemed to be the calmest out of all of them. "Need to calm down." Telling herself that she exhaled and tried to smile.
"Thank you girls, I'm still angry but I've calmed down."
"Good, there's no need to be mad over someone when it's not worth your time. We don't even have to discuss Xilo's reply because we all know what it's going to be after all."
"...Nnnnn...right...Xilo?"
Feeling Xelfia's body stop shaking, Xilo felt some relief as they stayed there for a couple minutes talking. Leaning back on the bed he looked up at the ceiling as Telan's question came back to him. "Join him?" Thinking about it, Xilo didn't know anything about it. Which led to him mostly agreeing to the girl's assumptions. A part of him wondered what would happen if he did join though. Looking over at the case that Tearia tossed onto the ground, Xilo couldn't deny gaining so much at once wasn't tempting, however putting himself under another leash wasn't in his goals.
"You're both right, While his offer sounds nice I have no plans to join them. Thank you for getting mad though for me Xelfia. I got flustered after he asked that and you all stood up for me. I really appreciate it. I'd much rather stick with my goal."
Speaking of Xilo's goal, Tearia had something she wanted to ask and she was positive all the girls here were as well. It was something Xilo hadn't talked about before with them but it was one of his goals in life. Obviously that was something they wanted to know and be a part of as much as possible. "A clan eh?" Thinking back on the clans she had seen, it was going to take a huge amount of work if Xilo wanted that to happen. She wanted to make sure Xilo was ready for all of that.
"Speaking of that Xilo, you know making a clan will take years of work to even create a small one right?"
"I know, it won't be simple at all but I plan to take my time with it. Even if I'm in my late hundreds by the time it's started that's fine with me. I just wanted to start laying down some plans for the future. At one point I'll need something else to do after all."
Xilo knew all about the troubles of starting a clan but he was happy Tearia was worried for him.
"While Tearia's right Xilo, I want to know why you never brought this up beforehand with any of us. We're all close right so why not talk with us about it, it's not like we bite and maybe if we knew about it beforehand we could have helped more."
"That's....while I had planned to tell you of course, it kind of just felt right at the moment. I'm sorry if I kinda sprung it out of nowhere on you three. A part of me also didn't want you three to feel obligated to help me just cause we're...together."
His goals would never be the exact same as any of theirs and if he brought it up he might deter them from trying to reach their own. That was the last thing he wanted to do so he kept it a secret. He knew Xelfia and Tearia loved him enough to stop what they were doing for him, even Relia. So he tried to avoid that especially when he had no idea how long it would take to accomplish. This was his own goal, not theirs.
"Oh please, don't give us that. You're helping us with our own goals too are you not? This isn't just a one sided relationship where you do all the heavy lifting for us. The three of us care about you just as much as you care about us. You said it yourself, We're a team. We work together to make us all happy. Isn't that right ladies?"
"....Yeah."
"Xelfia's right Xilo, you're kinda in the wrong here this time.
Seeing Xelfia, Tearia and even Relia looking at him with a slightly teasing smile, he felt his heart crack a little bit. "Haa..what am I going to do with these lovable idiots." Shaking his head he grabbed the three of them as he hugged them all. After that they discussed a couple more things as they made plans for tomorrow. For now Xilo wanted a break from Dracal Hall, so he decided to follow up on Felian's early request for his deal. Once he was done explaining that to them the four of them all slept together like usual. Xilo was already used to their bodies pressing against him as he slept now. So night passed by pretty quickly as morning came.
Feeling the light hit his face Xilo felt his whole body stiffen up as the weight of all of the girls sprawled over his body.
"What a way to wake up....."
Smiling to himself, he let himself enjoy the moment before he got ready for the day.
