After making a plan and figuring everything out together, the four of them grabbed the map and left the Hall. They didn't have much time to waste so it was best that they got out there and started helping people. Watching them leave, Telan and Aeon stayed behind as they planned more things. There was still a lot for them to do here, which meant they had to stay. "Good luck you guys." Sitting back down, Telan took some paper from his desk as he wrote a couple things down on it. Aeon even joined in helping him as he pulled up a chair.
"That went better than I thought it would have."
"Sir, those are good people, I told you not to worry about it."
"I know that, but people can hold grudges so I was a little worried."
"Xilo likes being the boss of himself but he does help others first. You should know that especially after Zilan sent him here."
"Yeah, for now let's get this stuff written and send it to other cities. As of right now anyone apart of Dracal Hall will be granted immediate entry into towns or cities without question. There's no time for all that other nonsense right now. We'll also be taking control of the Grave monument where those flowers grow."
"What if they don't listen?"
"I'll be putting the Dracal Seal on it, I doubt anyone in this country has the guts to disobey that and if they do I'll be happy to find out who and if they want to tell me otherwise they can come directly to me. This isn't a time for games so I'll gladly put anyone I have to in their place."
"Even the Queen?"
"....."
Leaving the Hall Xilo studied the map before he handed it to the girls while they headed back to grab their stuff. Since it was so sudden they had left some things there that Xilo wanted to get. He had no idea how long this would all take so it was better if they had everything. With a quick trip there he also headed out to meet Felian again to say goodbye for a bit and tell her about the situation. If she wanted something while they were away it would be impossible for him to do so, which made him want to warn her in advance. Once all of that was done the four of them headed to the City's exit.
"Think you can handle all of this Tearia?"
"If I'm being honest..I don't think I could if I was alone however with you three I think I'll be fine."
"Good, are you two good to go as well? Did any of us forget anything?"
"""No."""
With all three of them saying no Xilo started to head across the bridge. The city of Landelt was located near the border of other countries and in this journey they would be headed towards the opposite side near the ocean. "The mass of water that's endless." He had never seen it before besides a few pictures so it would be quite an interesting sight. It was also in the direction of the Capital city of Ukel. Though as of now he still wanted to avoid that place a bit. Thankfully their end goal was in other places so it kept his mind off of it as they travelled to the closest town.
They had thought about getting some animals to carry them at first but when they saw the lines at the stores they decided against it. For now at least it just wasn't worth the wait, so instead they were running. When they found the next town then maybe they could look for a carriage to take them. "The map has around twenty towns to visit." Looking at all the red dots Telan mapped out for them Xilo knew this was going to be more work then they could handle. "Once we reach the end there's another 4 towns and a city to take care of." In total they had 25 places to visit and help, if everything went smoothly it would take them a little over a month to do all of this.
"He better pay us well."
Complaining, he felt the wind push against his body as they ran. It was a warm day out today with a nice breeze so running was nice for a little bit especially with his newfound strength. It was a perfect way for him to get used to it. "Relia is also getting better at running." Before she would also lag behind them quite a bit but now she was only slightly behind him. The improvements she was making were small but noticeable over time. Xelfia was easily beating all of them though, as she kept pace with him and Tearia. "So strong." For half a day they ran at full speed and eventually came across a small town near evening.
Instantly being allowed in to his surprise, Xilo's group got to work as their break began. With empty streets everywhere Xilo was reminded of the first time they visited that was sick. For Tearia though it was just beginning. "How long can I last?" They were given ingredients by Telan along with some they already had so she wasn't worried about that. She was worried about never being able to take a break. "If I collapse I collapse, people are dying." In this town alone casualties were already rising and she had seen how scared everyone was. She didn't even have time to slow it down like before. Spending that whole night she created a cure as her skills went to work. When morning came she was tired and sweaty but the cure was complete. Handing it to the doctors of the town she told them specific instructions as they ran again. There wasn't time for anything else, they had to keep moving.
"The Astral Beasts were sick, dammit."
Feeling frustrated that they had to run again, Xilo knew Tearia wasn't going to last. "I can't do anything though." Things were just beginning and unless he carried her there was nothing he could think of doing. "Maybe I need to find a ride of our own." THoughts went through his head as their group ran to the next town to repeat the same thing. With three days passing already and two town's helped they were making progress fast but it was going to slow down soon. Especially since their Astral Beasts were also sick and unable to do their job, leaving them on foot once more.
"Please..."
Running to their third town Xilo pushed Tearia further as he debated a break to try and think about things.
