Heading towards Dracal Hall, Xilo's group was a bit skeptical as to what the emergency was. "Why would they need us anyway?" Compared to a lot of people they were quite weak. "I suppose I'll get answers soon." Spending the next few minutes walking they eventually arrived at the building. Something was different this time though, the whole air of the building was off and people were constantly running inside and out of it. Raising an eye, their group walked inside to see the whole place in a large panic. People were constantly rushing around and even the stare he always felt here was gone.
"What's happening here, why's everyone in such a rush?"
"You'll know in a few minutes, come, come."
Following the man down the hallway, they were sent to Telans room. Entering inside the man who was sent to get them left. Telan was already waiting for them inside with Aeon. With a slight awkwardness in his steps Xilo greeted them as he sat down. The air felt heavy but Xilo did his best to ignore it while calming the girls down. Right now, the last thing that he needed was another fight breaking out. After seeing the panic in the main hall Xilo wanted some answers. "What is going on?" Sitting down on a couch Xilo was the first to break the silence between them.
"So what's happening right now, why's everyone freaking out?"
Not saying anything else Telan got straight into it.
"Like I said when I summoned you, it's an emergency. Towns all over the country are being infected with the sickness that we've now labeled as Depetor. People are losing Astral Energy at alarming rates that we never saw coming. Hundreds of towns right now are currently under its effects with a few cities. We have the cure but we simply can't produce it enough at the pace we're going. We've sent every member of the Dracal Hall to start helping along with people associated with it. There are zero exceptions. If we don't put a stop to this everyone could lose their power or lives."
"Have you sent anyone to deal with the Royal Family yet? You did think they were behind all of this after all."
"We did two weeks ago when the numbers were at a level we could handle but after that they increased massively. I'm guessing our little investigation pissed them off. That or we are a lot more in the dark than I initially thought. Either way we are struggling and people are causing a commotion.``
"So what do you want us to do then.?"
"That's....the hard part about all this. If I remember correctly your friend Tearia brought up the fact that she has a connection with them. Am I correct?"
With a slight bit of edge in his voice Xilo calmly answered the question.
"Yes..however what does that have to do with anything."
"Calm down Xilo, we aren't saying she's involved with all of this."
Seeing Xilo getting a bit angry Aeon clarified things a bit more.
"We were just curious and wanted to think about possible ideas, nothing more. For now though I want you four heading out there and helping towns. I hate to say it but compared to most of us, Tearia's skills are superior. Most can't even create a cure in a week from the initial wave; she can do it in a day or so though. Of course you'd all be going along with her as her protection. We don't know how to stop this and we don't know why it's happening. People are dying as we speak and it's only going to continue to grow, I refuse to let more die because I'm being dumb. Please Tearia, Xilo, Xelfia, Relia, Help us.``
Standing up he bowed his head as he begged for their help. He had already put off asking them because of his stupid pride but now that had to be ignored. "Other countries are too scared to help or send too little." Grumbling in his head, they were running out of options. Tearia wouldn't solve everything but she would be a massive help. "Hundreds have already died..." Feeling frustrated at his inability to do more he asked them once more. They needed all the help they could get.
"Please...Help us."
"As Telan said, we ask for your aid in this situation. Please."
Looking at these two powerful men bowing and asking for help Xilo felt a little overwhelmed. He figured they would have just demanded or threatened them to do something if they wanted but here they were giving them a choice. "I know my answer then." Turning to Tearia he looked to see if she had anything to say along with the other girls. Biting her lip, Tearia felt a little pained to know people were dying. "I can help." Looking at Xilo she figured out her answer pretty fast as she spoke up for their group.
"I'll help, just stop bowing...It's kinda creepy."
"Really!?"
"That's great!"
Shooting up the two of them looked at Tearia with smiles as a big worry was lifted on their shoulders. She couldn't cure everyone but with her help things were heading in a good direction. With everyone else backing Tearia up they all started to discuss what course of action they would take. Telan decided in the end he would send them to the closest cluster of towns they had. That way there would be less time in between to help people while also sending them to the furthest ones in the end. Right now they had a lack of people in the areas too far away the most so after they were done helping the towns on the way they would head there.
"Does that sound good to all of you?"
"It sounds like a lot of work..."
Looking at the map laid in front of them and all the dots placed on it as markers, Tearia knew she was in for chaos the next few weeks.
