Revenge Of The Past

Small whimpers leaked out of the man's mouth prompting Aeon to loosen his grip while staying alert. These people were prepared to do any dirty trick to live and it was a pain to deal with. "Thankfully they aren't suicidal." He had met small organizations that would die before they even spoke a word to him. Those were types that actually managed to scare Aeon a little bit. That unwavering loyalty and dedication was something to respect and fear. He still hadn't forgotten the time one had tried to blow himself up while he was holding him. "I want more information on what's been happening here since I've left." When they had arrived here he had noticed a familiar smell that most would never pick up.

"D-don't hurt me...I'll talk. I don't really know much, just don't kill me."

"I'm sure you know the location of the officer in charge of your branch, that's more than good enough for me. Now talk before my hand slips."

Tightening his grip a bit more he listened to the man talk. "That poison is here too." Tearia had told him it was scentless at first yet after spending so much time around it Aeon had picked up a very faint smell. He had brought it up to Telan when he found out but Telan didn't smell anything and neither did anyone else. "It had a sweet smell, kind of like a flower." It even attached to some of the people who were sick and that scent attacked him the moment he stepped inside the City. There weren't any recent cases of it that had been reported though so maybe his nose was playing tricks on him. That combined with Telan's strangeness was enough to get him to act even though he would have loved to leave the City in an Instant.

"Ukelian....a place of misery."

With the man finished talking he learned his next location.

"There, I told you where to go, I don't know anything else, I swear. Please let me g-"

The man's body dropped to the group completely limp as Aeon started moving to his next place after erasing any potential evidence that could lead back to him. This City was the one place that knew of his terror the most and he doubted a couple decades was enough to let them forget. "Just another idiot." With a trail of bodies behind him he phased out of existence and passed through multiple walls. "The Unreal One...certainly fits me." People passed him by without ever noticing his presence. To most he was invisible to and that had been a constant his entire life. His parents abandoned him at a young age and he was forced to live on the streets. A young boy all alone in the world was doomed to starve to death.

"That hunger."

The pain he endured as he stomach tried to eat itself from the inside was hell. No one batted an eye or tried to help him though even when he was crying out for help. Hundreds of thousands of people walked by him in these very walls. No one even looked his way almost like he was invisible. There were only a few at the time that barely registered his existence before moving on. He was a very rare case in the Astral world. His ability had awoken before he had even started down his path. Most would see that as a blessing but to him it was just a curse. When he needed others to see him the most he became invisible to the world and almost died because of it.

"Are you needing help?"

He could still remember the day that girl found him, without her he might have died. "She also taught me about my power." Arriving at a building twenty minutes away Aeon checked around. There were over ten people guarding the place with a hundred inside getting ready to get to work. "Looks like a party." Passing through their walls he stopped his urge to cause some havoc as he went towards the person in charge surrounded by a bunch of others. Anyone that got in his way though was knocked out without question. The main reason he refrained from going crazy here was because he found some normal people mixed in with the bunch. "Leverages to manipulate others.." In this little rundown factory they were delivering things to all around the country and receiving packages.

Ignoring the cold chill of stone underneath his feet he knocked out one person after the other. After ten minutes he found his way in front of the doors with the others already alert on the other side. "Seems like they noticed me." Fixing his collar he opened the door normally as he was greeted by the sight of ten different men surrounding one in the center who was patiently sitting down awaiting his uninvited guest. Giving a small bow Aeon accessed the situation as best as he could. "Those ones are all weaklings, the officer though..." To be able to detect him meant he wasn't any normal pushover, he may have just been lucky but Aeon couldn't take that risk.

"Hello everyone, I'm Aeon. It's nice to meet you."

"The Unreal one, Aeon. I've heard quite a few stories of your greatness."

Standing up from his chair the officer's scruffy voice leaked out as he ordered his men to back down. They wouldn't do anything in this situation so it was best that they left to check on the others. "She always warned us about this man." Their Leader was a crafty woman who apparently had quite a few run-ins with Aeon. Watching the men leave silently Aeon didn't say a word. With the creaking of the door closing around them they were left alone as Aeon stood himself up and looked the man in the eyes. "They still remember me, I'm touched." Hiding his amusement he took out his weapon for the first time as he got a little serious.

"I really don't have time to drag this out, so if you would, please answer a few of my questions. After that I can be on my way or feel free to waste my time, we both know I won't lose though."

"Just as cocky too, We aren't the weaklings we used to be."

Pressing a button under his shirt he quietly sent out a signal. He had no idea if he could win so it was better to be safe and gather the other Officers and the Leader. Scratching his one eye he could still feel the itch on his other eye that was covered. Aeon was someone he remembered when he was young. Looking at the bearded man with an black eyepatch covering his other eye and slicked back hair, Aeon felt a slight sense of familiarity coming from this man. "Why do I feel like I know this person?" That roughed up handsomeness with a large buff body was a bit different though. Tapping his chin Aeon tried to put the feeling in place but the man as time went on. The man patiently waited for Aeon to make the first move as he stalled for time.

"Any minute now they'll be here..."
