A Life Owed To The Queen

Lightning sparked around the room as the Queen looked at the man she had once loved long ago. Fighting the instincts inside her more than anything she slammed the ground with her fist as the field of water helped jump boost her energy while stopping any escape. There was no honour in this fight, sending her Officers after them they all teamed up on him at once. She would never underestimate Aeon, especially when he seemed to know as much as he did. If that spread around her plan could crumble into pieces before her eyes. One of them quickly set up a wall around the entire area made of earth while another sent vines flying his way to capture him. Bringing out her sword the Queen shot a lightning bolt at him before she slashed at him.

She was never given the privilege of having Space Energy like her family, that was why she was always seen as not one of them. Instead Lightning was the element she was obtained from birth and honed to perfection. A giant beast formed itself in front of her as it chomped right at Aeon with her right behind it. "He'll dodge." She knew he would just phase through it in an attempt to dodge it. That would just put him in a worse position though with everyone surrounding him. If he wanted to attack back he would have to unphase and if he wanted to escape he would have to struggle. With his fight Oliver just before she doubted he even had the energy to do that.

"Katrin."

Snarling, Aeon tried his best to take all the information that he could while multiple people attacked him. "I have to." With this many people attacking him he needed to just back up. His best bet was to force this situation into constant one on ones however that was a rough request. Dodging the giant beast and lightning bolt Aeon phased through Katrin's sword while dodging two more attacks from the side. The other two were busy trapping him in this place with walls made of Earth. Phasing back into existence Aeon lost the two men who attacked him for a quick second as he appeared behind one and stabbed in the back. The Queen just called him out though as she followed his every move letting the man dodge his attack.

"He's behind you Aldra, watch out."

No matter if he was phasing in or out of existence Katrin was able to see him just the same making his potential sneak attacks also useless. His cane hit the ground as the water splashed around his feet, Lightning circled around him stopping his movements as the man called Aldra ducked to the side and elbowed Aeon in the stomach. Since he was trying to attack he didn't have enough time to phase out. "Guh." Backing up from the force he stepped into the lightning shocking his body and slowing him down a little bit. The lightning Dog beast came snapping straight for his neck along with the other man this time. "To much." For a second he felt incredibly overwhelmed by information and pressure.

"I'm not going to go easy on you Aeon, You were given a chance to escape once before, not again. Especially if you want to try and face me, I refuse to be generous once more. This will be your grave I swear...it's for the better for her.

"Maybe if it was just Katrin but all of them as well..." They both knew everything about each other's fighting style which made them pretty evenly matched normally. Four other people on top of that was too much though. Failing to phase out in time due to the stress and lack of energy Aeon did his best to avoid the Lighting Dog's attack. He would much rather take a sword to the arm then have his throat ripped apart. Looking at Katrin watching this as she commanded her beast he felt pissed off. She was so emotionless like none of this mattered to her. "You walked away that day, not me!" That emotional girl full of worries was long gone as the Queen took her place standing proudly with her back straight. Yet he had never chased after her or tried to stop her, instead he stood still in time as he watched her walking away. Then afterwards he hid around sulking all by himself.

"I was dead from the very beginning, Katrin. This isn't my life anymore, it's always been yours."

Katrin tried to hide it the best she could however she was actually hurt hearing Aeon's words.

"Then just die for me."

"I've thought about that quite a few times, in this life I've been constantly betrayed by my expectations. It's overwhelming and I can't shake this feeling like I'm unwanted and useless. Maybe that's why I was given the ability to be invisible

In his life so many people had always ignored him and never given him the chance to be who he was. Katrin was the only person to ever even try with him. She could actually see him. He felt like they actually had a connection but even she walked away in the end. She saved his life and she was right in saying he owed her it. Feeling some sadness leak into him his movements slowed down as he looked at the Queen listlessly.

"Anyone you meet will just abandon you like all the others, remember you're the invisible one that everyone can't see. A fleeting memory."

"I know you're right….still I need to fight, this is my current job and I can't abandon it even for you. I'm not going to ask for your forgiveness, let me off a bit easily though okay?"

Taking his stand now energy overflowed through his body like crazy as he tried for his desperate last stand.

"A stubborn pest."

"No, I'm just an old fool."

With a smile on his face Aeon felt someone else's sword stab through his stomach stopping him in his tracks as blood flowed out of his body along with all of his Astral Energy.
