Her head felt like it was being ripped apart and mangled with nothing she could do. For the past couple days it had been constantly getting worse. Holding her head she tried to soothe the ache as best she could. "Maybe Tearia could help." Looking up she did her best to find Tearia to see if there was anything she could do. She was busy with Xilo though along with the other girls. "Oh." She stopped moving, feeling a bit isolated suddenly. "Azalu, you there?" There wasn't any reply even after waiting a minute and trying a couple more times. Hanging her head her blue hair hung down blocking her view as she looked down at the ground.
"Are you sure you're okay with this Tearia?"
"I'm fine, I know more than anyone how much she separates herself from stuff like that. I doubt she is going to show up, we also need those rewards. It'll be a nice little boost. Don't worry about me okay?"
"Fine, if you're fine with it, no use worrying about it. What happens, happens."
Hugging the two girls he looked at Relia off by herself. "Strange..." Usually in times like this Relia would be beside them trying her best to lift the mood. "Did something happen?" Scratching his head he let go of the girl's bodies as he stood beside Relia. Crouching down he peaked in from under her hair and grinned. "Whoa." He didn't expect her to be on the verge of tears though leaving him in a quick panic. Grabbing her hand he tried to comfort her but she didn't seem to notice his presence. "Her hand is really warm...." He almost thought for a second she had gotten sick as well, there was no way though. She had been mostly doing nothing and Tearia would notice before any of them.
"How's it going Relia, you seem a little down."
"Fi...ne."
There was no energy in her voice nor did she really register what was said, even the other girls had noticed that by now.
"Hmm..Well you just seemed a little down, figured I'd check up on you. If you want to talk about it I'm sure we can help. Are you also okay with going to that reward ceremony?"
"Yes."
Xilo decided to just give her some space as he grabbed her hand and walked back to the Inn that they decided on earlier. "I wonder what's bothering her." She had been in similar moods to this in the past but it had never been as bad as it was now. "It usually passes." Leaving it at that he didn't want to bother Relia too much. Walking along with Xilo's hand in hers, Relia didn't really pay attention as she looked at the scars that lined her body. Nasty little marks that would never fade and indented her skin all over her. They were on fire right now though and burned in pain. She couldn't directly see it but she could see small burn marks appearing on her jacket. The flames in her body were currently out of control as they set her body on fire.
"Why?" Azalu had said she still had more time before it was too late. This shouldn't be happening so soon. "Our body, not hers." A thousand voices attacked her mind all at once. Overwhelmed by so much pressure Relia huddled herself back and let them do as they pleased. She had seen their power and strength in the past so she knew she couldn't win. She was too weak for something like that nor did she have the courage. Tidal waves of flames overflowed in her mind as some of her memories began to burn away. "Azalu..." She tried to call out to Azalu again however there still wasn't a response. "Make it stop....Xelfia, Tearia, Xilo." Making it back to their room she laid on the bed given to her as she huddled herself trying to concentrate.
"Do you two know what happened?"
Asking the girls that Xilo wanted to know their opinion on Relia's condition.
"Sadly no, she's been like that a couple times before. Let's give her until tomorrow and see how she is then. Usually she's better after a day. what do you think Tearia?"
"I have no idea, she's not sick, she's got no other symptoms I can see either. Her body is just really hot at the moment. I already gave her a few drops of medicine to help cool her off but that's all I can do. I don't know enough about it to do anything else."
Watching her body slowly rise and fall with her breathing, Xilo sighed as he sat down on the other bed. He had wanted to explore the city a little bit more with the girls but Telan had kept them longer than he wanted. "Maybe another time." With the sun setting Xilo got ready for bed with the rest of the girls. With a couple hours passing Relia was in for a rough night as the voices kept her awake. "Just like the first time." These feelings heavily reminded her of when she was just a child and her flame ability first appeared. Doing her best to control it, morning eventually came as Relia put up a tough act and sat up. She knew she was worrying her friends and she couldn't continue to do so.
Hiding the burns, the pain in her bones and the fire on her scars she started the day as normal as possible.
Everyone had asked her how she was doing after waking up but she just assured them she was fine. Like that they went about her day as Relia was surrounded in pain. They figured it was just another one of her attacks as they spent time running around the city together. Like a small mini date they explored all the fancy sights they could before the big day came tomorrow. Exploring little Cafes full of sweets, Picking out some new clothing for each of the girls and even Xilo himself and lastly a fun little play that was happening that they managed to check. It had been a while since they had all just done some normal things. It was incredibly fun for them, even Relia who did her best to hide the pain as best she could. Soon their fun had to end though as they got ready for the big day tomorrow.
"Hopefully everything goes well."
There was a lot that could happen and Xilo had a slightly bad feeling that kept creeping up on, like something was going to happen
