Xilo's excitement plummeted into an abyss as he heard Felli's words. For a moment he thought he had sensed Felli returning back to normal. That seemed to just be his imagination sadly, Shaking off his feelings off gloom Xilo put his mind back on track. He quickly made sure Tearia was okay while he dragged her away from Felli. Ignoring the confusion he felt at Felli protecting Tearia he continued his attacks. As long as she stayed trapped this would be an easy win for them. "We'll get her back." A chill ran through the air as Ice Breaker travelled straight at Felli. Slamming into her body, Xilo started to spread his ice, locking her down further.
"I can't let you go, you know that.."
Feeling her skin turn to ice Feli struggled to break free of her bindings. Her body turned as heavy as rocks that refused to budge an inch. "Why won't he let me go?" She had thought for sure that just asking to be released would have made them listen to her. "Time to try something else then." Astral Energy flowed through her body and met Xilo's ice head on. Fighting back against it she made sure his Ice didn't spread any further as cracks started to form in it. She could fight back against Xilo's strengths but Xelfia's vines just held her tighter instead. Glancing at the woman controlling the vines, Felli bite her lip.
"Why are you even all fighting me...."
Hearing her talk again, Xilo couldn't help thinking the answer was obvious.
"To make sure you don't kill anyone else and to get you back to your senses."
Hearing Xilo mention killing people, Felli looked at some of the bodies that littered the ground near them. "I did that, didn't I?" Turning away she knew what she was doing was wrong even if it was a bit hard to accept. More strength entered her arm where her sword was hanging loosely in her hand. Trying to move it around she did her best to ignore her thoughts of guilt. This was hardly the first time she had been forced to kill someone and she wouldn't let it scare her this time either. "It seems they thought highly of me." Noticing Zilan from the corner of her eye watching her every movement without doing much, Felli felt like sighing. "So it was you." Zilan must have told them a lot about her when she left.
"Has it ever occured to you that maybe I wanted to kill those people? That I'm not such a great person....? If it hasn't then, I can only call you stupid. I didn't ask you to come save me, I left you and Tearia that day for good reason, same goes for you Zilan. You have me far from figured out, if you all want to insist on playing at being my saviour so badly....then I'll give you a reason to fight me."
For a second Felli felt her mind snap as her sword swung straight at Xilo in front of her. She didn't hold back for a second as the ice on her arms completely shattered along with the vines. Before anyone could react her purple sword reached his chest as it impaled him right next to his heart. Xilo's eyes went wide with surprise as he looked down at his chest. He was caught off guard by Felli's earlier words leaving him a bit shocked. He hadn't thought much about the possibility that Felli didn't want their help, so when she brought it up to him it had turned his world upside down. "Are we just getting in the way?" It was too late to do anything though as XIlo felt himself falling to his knees.
"I'm sorry."
As Xilo fell to the ground those few words quietly left Felli's mouth.
The metal of her sword radiated heat as blood spilled out of his body onto the ground beneath him. His hearing went dull as the sounds of shouting reached his ears. He felt like everyone was calling his name but he couldn't make it out clearly. Only muffled noises and the sounds of his grunting comforted him as he hit the ground. Felli's sword left his body causing just as much pain as she jammed a ball of explosive space energy into him. From what senses he had left he could tell it was extremely unstable and if he touched it, it would probably explode and kill him in an instant. He was forced to let it rip apart his insides slowly while he suffered. Lying on the ground Xilo did his best to stay conscious as he looked at Felli frowning while watching him.
"Why?"
Barely mouthing that out to Felli he got no response from her. She had no time to explain herself as Xelfia came straight at her with all the power she had. Smacking Felli right in the face, she sent Felli flying across the room in seconds. "Bitch." Xelfia could feel anger taking over as she watched Felli stand up even after taking such a hard hit. Cracking her neck, Felli did her best to recover herself as she gazed at the woman who did that. "Red hair, red eyes and one aggressive woman. This must be Xelfia that Tearia talked about." Impressed at her strength, Felli stayed calm, she knew that would be the response she would get after attacking Xilo. It was the only thing she could think of to do at this moment though.
"There isn't another way...I wish there was."
Watching her Mother fight against the man she called Aeon, Felli was attacked by grief as Xelfia came straight for her. If her own plan was to work she had to survive against everyone here. "It shouldn't be too long..." Blood seeped out of Xilo's body more and more as he slowly lost consciousness. "It's how it happened before." Replicating that scene in her mind Felli held her sword up as she met Xelfia's fists. Feeling her sword bend from the sheer strength Xelfia had Felli felt her body slowly sliding backwards. "Let's see if I can hold out." Locking eyes Felli smiled as space energy floated around her body similar to the one she put in Xilo's body. Floating around they eventually smashed into random places causing explosions wherever they touched. She had almost no control of this energy and that was perfectly fine for her. If it managed to hit her target it would do massive damage.
One inched its way toward Xelfia as Felli kept her busy, Xelfia was far from in the right mindset to pay attention though as it made contact with her skin.
