The constant sound of space being torn to shreds was the only thing anyone could hear beyond shallow breaths. Picking herself up off the ground Xelfia watched a few of her scales fall to the ground. Felli had managed to do more damage then she had thought was possible of her. "I wonder why she didn't use that before?" If felli used that against them previously they would have lost already for sure. Dusting herself off and cleaning any blood she could, Xelfia glanced at the giant space vortex that was causing chaos. "What now?" Waiting for it to dissipate, she didn't have much hope that it stopped the Queen.
"Getting close might kill me now."
It didn't last long as the purple energy started to slowly fade from existence. Getting ready to fight again if she needed to, Xelfia's gaze never left the centre. Cracks filled the floor wherever the space energy had touched along with the pillars. The entire room had been partially destroyed from that one attack alone. Ignoring the rubble that was everywhere, Xelfia tried to look for the Queen. A small figure hid in the space energy as she protected herself. Light Energy seeped into the cracks in the floor and travelled along them. Exiting the little bubble the energy raised in the air surrounding the entire area. Closing in, the Queen's energy destroyed Felli's Space Energy completely.
"Of course..."
Swearing under her breath they watched the Queen come into view again perfectly fine. It looked like they hadn't even done any damage even after all that fighting. Standing there with an air of pride the Queen let loose a grin as she looked around the room. Taking the Light Energy from before she changed it's form and aimed it at the last two people standing along with her Daughter. Looking at the younger version of herself Katrin felt a tinge of sadness knowing her Daughter chose to fight her. "I did this for the both of you." Making sure Aeon's body was still in one piece the Queen felt a bit of relief as attacked. White energy flew through the air and locked onto the three of them.
"Dodge that!"
Too weak to move herself Felli warned the two of them as she took the attack head on. She had no more energy to do anything else, her plan had failed and now she was useless. Falling to her knees she felt like passing out right there. "I...held back." She didn't want to kill her Mother and that was the reason for their downfall. Her Mother may have looked perfectly fine but her movements had slowed down a lot along with her power. While it wasn't something she could say for sure, if she used a bit more power then things could have turned out differently in this fight. "I was too selfish." When Althea had given her a choice on which side to pick, Felli had ended up picking both. She had reached out for both of their hands in hopes that she didn't need to lose one.
"I thought I was strong enough....I really did....now..."
Tears welled up in her eyes as she thought about what would happen to her friends now. She had completely lost any pull she might have had with her Mother. Her being attacked as well was the definitive proof of that. "I'm sorry." Pain attacked her body stopping any chance of moving she had left while the rest of her power disappeared. Frustration and anger built up inside of her with zero way of being released, that wasn't all though, regret wormed its way in as well. She could barely even speak anymore as the same words left her mouth, her Mother simply ignored them though giving her no chance.
"Please...Mother...don't do it."
Bracing themselves, Zilan and Xelfia did their best to defend themselves against the Queen's attacks. Lying on the ground Relia watched everything from the side as her mind tore itself into pieces. Slowly she tried to drag herself forward as she looked at all of her friends. Xilo still hadn't moved since he had been attacked, Tearia and Marie were trying to heal themselves as fast as they could but they wouldn't make it in time. The twins were still too busy protecting everyone else to help them. If they let their guard down for a second the Queen would kill more innocent people, nor was their attack power high enough to make a difference. The last people standing were on their final strings and Relia could only watch.
"Lying there powerless as you watch the same thing happen once more."
Pulling herself with one hand Relia heard a voice inside of her head talk to her.
"Azalu, is that you?"
"It must hurt, losing your parents in a similar way and now watching your friends meet the same fate....Powerless to change the events before your eyes..I know it all too well myself…."
It was definitely Azalu but her voice was a lot more quiet and flat, She didn't seem to be paying much attention to Relia's words either.
"..."
Taking a deep breath Relia watched Xelfia fall to the ground in pain. There was nothing Relia could do to help, she was utterly powerless. "Everywhere I go always leads to disaster." She had caused her parents deaths with her powers and now she could only watch her friends die powerless. "Fate....is cruel." her small hand smashed into the ground with her frustration however she only hurt herself more. "Those flames...Where are they now..." If only she could use those flames again she might be able to help fight. Feeling her head split into two as a loud roar echoed around in it Relia tried to keep her thoughts in order, she was slowly her sense of self though as something dawned on her. "....Am I dying Azalu?" After a brief pause she received a simple answer.
"Yes."
