A Tail's Breath

With a bit of a breather in between Xilo was back on the field with Keld. "He doesn't look very strong." Completely opposite to Vandor Keld was built like a twig. With light brown eyes covered by a pair of metal glasses that got slightly covered by his longer hair. "He kind of looks like he belongs in a library." He was definitely more a bookworm type, which had its own charm in it. "Refined, patient and has some grace." Xilo was slightly jealous of that aura he carried. Keld slightly adjusted his brown jacket and took out a feather point pen. "Is that his weapon?" Tilting his head in confusion, Xilo couldn't tell if there was some kind of joke going on or not.

"Uhhmmm Keld.....Is that your weapon by chance?"

"Yes Xilo, While it's out of the ordinary do not underestimate it."

"Got it."

Nodding his head Xilo took out Ice Breaker once more as Vandor started their fight. Keld instantly started to write something in the air, putting his Astral Ability to full use. Lines of text that Xilo couldn't comprehend filed his Visions before transforming into a giant silver Lion. "A Summoner type?" The Lion roared into the sky proudly before pouncing at Xilo. "So fast!" Jumping to the side, Xilo failed to dodge it in time. Feeling it's claws clash with Ice Breaker Xilo already saw Keld writing something else. "That can't be good." Unable to handle the strength of the lion, Xilo flew to the ground as the text hovered above the Lion's body. Dancing around it the Silver Lion absorbed it as armour surfaced on its body.

"As you can see Xilo, My ability lets me create Astral Beasts of all kinds in tandem with my strength. Since they're only as strong as me though I chose to learn rare Astral Techniques that could enhance them, like that armour there. I can also make it stronger, faster, or give it an element based on its colour. During my life I've visited quite a few places and found a lot of enhancement spells. In return though I'm kind ofweak myself haha. I'll only be using that Lion for today, if you can make it near me in five minutes I'll call it as your win."

"Aren't you underestimating me a little too much?"

Beating Keld might have been impossible but just getting near him should be easy....right?"

"No, You're just overestimating yourself. These Beasts aren't easy to defeat and you're already pinned. You have five minutes, make good use of it and show me the strength you seem so proud of."

With a slight wink and bow Keld grinned slyly. "I may look weak but I can go even with Vandor." Even though he was actually one Star of strength below Vandor he made up for it in other ways. They had fought each other a few times over the years when the people who hired them were against each other. Now though they were working together as one under a new person. "Even if Katrin has faith in him, I want to find out things for myself." Knowledge was power to Keld and he would use every inch of information he could to his advantage. "The Nameless one." He had already gathered a bit of information on Xilo. "It's not much though...quite a hidden history." His Lion roared loudly in Xilo's face as he struggled to break free.

*RAAAAAAAAOOOO*

Its jaw snapped at Xilo wildly as he barely kept it from chewing his own head off. "So damn heavy." Stretching one hand out, Xilo kept its face away from him while doing his best with his free hand to keep its claws from ripping him apart. Using his legs, he tried to push against the back of its body to move it. "Nothing." It was lighter than Vandor but after getting pinned so easily it was practically over. "Keld was right." Using his head, he tried to think of some way to get this giant Lion off of him. "Does it's armour have any holes...does it feel pain though even?" Remembering back to his time in Myriad Forest he had a similar experience like this. That Wolf actually felt pain though and wasn't levels above him.

Searching its body Xilo tried to find a weak spot. "It's underbelly looks a bit weak." The armour it was wearing was firm and solid steel. When it got to its belly though the silver colour looked a bit faded. "How do I attack it though?" His whole body was busy and Xilo had a feeling that if he missed his chance Keld would fix that weakness. "Is he testing me?" Pushing all those kinds of thoughts out of his head ,Xilo focused on the problem in front of him. "I think I have to use those." Trying to find the calm in the chaos Xilo unlocked the darkness inside him as a bit leaked out. Controlling it he formed a blade around his stomach that pierced straight upwards into the Lion's weak point. Piercing right through its armour and skin it cried out in pain as Xilo pushed himself away from it right before it could recover.

"A useful skill you have there, good job but this still isn't over."

"I know that."

Catching his breath Xilo instantly closed the darkness away. "That's still rough to use." More words were written by Keld and hovered over the Lion. "He can even heal it!?" The wound beneath its stomach closed instantly along with its armour repairing itself. "That's just cheating!" Before Xilo could complain anymore the Lion's piercing red eyes found the target that hurt it. Running against the grass it slashed at Xilo with more passion than before. Xilo could hear Keld keeping track of the time he had left as Xilo deflected each attack. "If I just dodge closer to him I can still win." Inch by inch Xilo tried to sneakily angle himself towards keld. Without remorse though the Lion kept swapping the angle it attacked from stopping any progress Xilo tried to make.

"Got thirty seconds left Xilo, can you do it?"

Feeling the pressure of time Xilo got ready for one last all out charge. With twenty seconds left Xilo saw the claws come straight at him as an ice wall Erected itself in between them. The Silver claws smashed into pieces instantly as Ice scattered everywhere. "Now!" Using the shards as cover Xilo jumped to the side of the Lion while it was blinded. Bolting straight forward Xilo had ten seconds to make it to Keld. "I got this!" Excitement filled his body as he got closer. "This is my win!" With five seconds left Xilo saw something enter the corner of his vision. A silver ball of fur came out of nowhere and slammed straight into Xilo's stomach pushing him back. "the Lion's tail!?!?" Unable to escape from it's grip, Xilo felt the taste of victory escape his lips.

"Five....four....three...two...one..."

With time out Xilo had lost once more without a single chance.

"Good try there Xilo, you almost had me for a moment but you did very well."

Clapping his hands Keld complimented Xilo as his attempt as cheering happened all around.

"I don't think I was close at all...thanks though."

With defeat handed to him for a second time, Xilo was learning a lot.

"So who will be your third opponent?"
