Some Revenge

Smoke blocked out everyone's vision forcing them to wait until it cleared up. Tightening his grip Xilo watched as the smoke dispersed while holding his breath. Groans of pain filled the air as bodies fell to the ground. The smoke began to disperse, revealing a couple figures. Ready to attack at any moment, Xilo tried to find Delfex. "Did he run away?" Some of his people had already moved to lock this location off, if he tried to run they would have sent him a message by now. His vision became more clear as an older man came into sight standing tall.

Wounds covered his body and his clothes were full of holes however he was still alive.

"You managed to survive."

Delfex coughed a few times as he looked at the boy who had caused this. "So much trouble from someone weaker than me." He had underestimated Xilo at every corner possible and even when he felt like he was prepared for anything he had still failed. "At least, father can solve this." He had already given him the signal so he would be here soon. With the last of his strength he would just have to stall, then it would be over. Using the last bit of Astral Energy he had, he summoned up all the anger he could. "Die boy." Moving a step forward a giant wave of energy spawned behind him ready to crash down on everyone here.

Friend or foe no longer mattered to him.

"Small tricks won't stop me so easily, even if I have to kill everyone here, you will die."

Sending it forward Delfex's vision blurred as he raised his hand. Guiding his energy, he wanted to see Xilo suffer for everything he had done. He wanted to see fear writing on the boy's face however he only saw shock. "Huh?" Wondering why he didn't seem afraid of him Delfex felt something pierce his chest lightly. Looking down, a set of claws covered in someone's blood entered his vision. Flesh and guts fell to the floor as it barely registered in his mind that he was dying. "How?" The claws pulled back ripping out his spine without any mercy as he fell to the ground losing all signs of life.

Hearing Delfex's body fall to the ground, Xilo didn't even bother to look at it as his eyes stayed glued on the person who did it.

"Xelfia?"

Cleaning off her claws she kicked aside Delfex's body.

"Well he wasn't the person who stabbed me before, I'd still call that a revenge of sorts. Now one more problem is finally crossed off the list. Isn't that great Xilo?"

Smiling his way, Xelfia tried to be tad boastful to lighten the mood.

"What are you doing here, didn't I tell you to stay in our room?"

"I know you did and I meant to talk to you about that, I just never got the chance. So I just followed you here instead, keeping myself hidden. Since you did most of the damage and Delfex didn't know about me I just finished him off. Oh and another person was here as well. She said she didn't want to help at all but it seems she's softer than she lets on."

So many questions floated through Xilo's mind at that moment, as another person showed up next to Xelfia holding someone.

"I found this rat lurking around the area, he seemed to be stalking you guys."

"Aeon?"

Dropping the body on the ground Aeon figured this was Delfex's Father from his looks. They were quite similar with Delfex being younger. "He probably planned to use his Father as back up." If Aeon wasn't here by Katrin just in case then things might have gotten really messy. The old man was strong enough to even fight him if it weren't for being caught by surprise. Aeon had been hiding inside a building when he saw him lurking in the shadows and killed him once he confirmed he was after Xilo. Confused at the development of the situation and how fast it changed Xilo was at a loss for words.

"What just happened? Honestly."

"What do you mean, your plan worked just the way you wanted it Xilo. Nothing special really happened."

A playful grin found its way onto Xelfia's face as she walked over and rubbed Xilo's back.

"You..."

"Yes, yes. You can thank me later. For now let's head back. Katrin also had some people sent to that Alega's Clan too. We have a giant thorn in our side removed so be happy. Let's celebrate just like you promised."

Unable to get another word in, Xilo heard cheers rising all around sweeping the mood away. Giving up trying to be even a little bit dissatisfied with these results Xilo and everyone else made their way back home. With a couple people Aeon brought staying behind to clean up all the bodies Xilo made sure they took both leaders with him. Before celebrating he wanted to deal with Hunter and Hazel. Since there was no longer any threat looming overhead, he could do whatever he wanted with them. Their fates were mostly decided but he wanted to get it over and done with before anything else happened.

"It's kind of anti-climactic in a way, I figured I would have had to fight harder...."

Grumbling in his mind Xilo entered the room he kept them in as he replayed the night's events over in his head. Throwing both Delfex's body and his father's onto the ground he woke Hunter and Hazel up with the noise. Hunter didn't say a word as a small cry left Hazel's mouth. "It's time for them to meet their end." Xilo had promised Vandor he would end Hunter's life once this was all over and he planned to keep that promise.

"Hello you two, sorry for the rude awakening. I just figured you would want to see the results of your Leader trying to rescue you."

Hazel saw the Devil once more.
