Evolving

"Wait wait wait, if that's the case does that mean you took Xilo's power just like when you consume Astral Beasts?"

Nodding her head, Yanyan didn't have anything to hide, that kind of concept didn't exist to her yet. Seeing Yanyan agree with what she said, Azalu inhaled sharply as she paused. "So she became a "human" After meeting Xilo." It sounded very very far out there but it would explain all the weirdness that Yanyan displayed. Lack of knowledge, speaking and emotions, if she wasn't human to begin with all that made sense. The part she didn't get then was how she knew about herself and the connection to Xilo. "She steals memories too?" The creature in front of her was turning more terrifying by the second.

"So does that mean you don't actually know Xilo, you just have memories from him or...?"

"Yeah...whenever I eat something I gain bits and pieces of them and make them my own. When I took a bite of Xilo I gained his memories and emotions. He was the first ever human I consumed and has affected me the most. Memories of a girl named Xelfia appear in my head, Tearia and you Relia. They have given me a sense of comfort strangely enough but these memories have come with their downside. I've grown to dislike what I am and I can't change that. The hate Xilo felt for me is still left over in my mind and it stings."

Reaching out a hand Relia rubbed Yanyan's damaged hair, this creature was quite tragic. Bringing her fingers through Yanyan's hair, Relia had a thought come to mind. "If she's only eaten one human then what happens if she eats another?" Would some of these memories and feelings evolve? Could they potentially change and morph into something entirely new. That kind of curiosity fueled her thoughts as she stood there. "Do I?" Looking at the bits of her flesh a flash of hesitation passed by. It quickly disappeared though as she brought her hand up to her arm. "It'll grow back." She had already come this far with Yanyan so seeing it out was something she had to do.

Digging her nails into her flesh Azalu ripped a hole in her arm while Yanyan watched on blankly. Once she had a good grip on her skin she ripped a chunk of flesh out, enough to expose bone as blood dripped onto the ground. Yanyan's hunger was awakening during the surprise but she managed to stand still. Consuming the flesh of human's was something she didn't want to do anymore thanks to Xilo. "No." Once Azalu presented her the flesh though she found it harder to hold back. Nudging the chunk of flesh closer to Yanyan, Azalu tried to assure her it was fine.

"Don't worry about it so much, Yanyan. I'm doing this of my own will. I want to see how much you grow when you consume a part of me. Maybe you can also gain some new memories and change the way you think. I'm not telling you to go around eating humans like it's a free for all but you can have a part of me. Just like Xilo, I'll also be a part of you."

Blinking her eyes Yanyan reached out her hand slowly and took a hold of the flesh. She didn't want to do this kind of thing anymore however if she was given a chance to grow then it was different. Maybe with Relia's help she could become something a lot closer to a normal human. "I want to be normal." Ever since she had gained Xilo's memories Yanyan had constantly been dreaming about being a normal human one day. It was a goal that she was reaching for even if it seemed impossible. She was just an Astral Beast that was artificially created, however maybe there was hope for her to become something much better.

"Human...."

Relia wasn't exactly human herself however the memories and intelligence was what she was after as she consumed it. Azalu quietly watched Yanyan devour her flesh with a smile on her face. "Let's see how she changes." Would it be instant like last time or would something entirely different happen. She was ready and eager to find out. Yanyan was slowly becoming more like a child to Azalu and that was perfectly okay. Within a moment Yanyan's body lit up in flames that blinded Azalu. Looking away she felt the heat of flames touch her skin, trying to burn everything around her as it mixed with the darkness inside of it.

"Show me your transformation Yanyan."

While picking up a few bricks that were lying around with all the other girls Xilo felt a chill run past his spine. "What was that?" Looking around for anything that could have caused it he only found his friends working with him."Weird." The darkness inside of him kept stirring as he went back to work. A small connection was beginning to form without any of his realisation. The flames grew brighter as the Darkness turned them pitch black. Yanyan's head vision started to spin as she felt her body hit the ground. Memories and emotions were overwhelming her even more than when she had taken Xilo's.

"Azalu....Relia."

Two names leaked out of her mouth as she finally got a clear idea of just who Relia was. "Two in one." Eventually the flames disappeared as Yanyan felt herself calming down. Her body was still on fire and she was still processing everything but the worst was over now. Digesting everything slowly that hatred for herself didn't disappear though. It only grew stronger as she once again consumed a part of a human. "Xilo really hated me." Sadness leaked into her voice as she thought about how much Xilo despised the creature she was down in that abyss. "it only makes sense I suppose." That wasn't a good time for Xilo and with a part of Relia's memories she understood just how dark a time it was for him then.

"He hated everything...."

That hatred leaked into her as she looked up the girl she thought was Relia.

"So...you're not Relia at all, just Azalu."

"oh, figured that out eh. Interesting, I wonder what else you learned."

"Not much yet, it'll take some time."
