"Eh that's fine, you have plenty of time to take it all in. I'm more curious about how we control those extra parts you seem to have."
If Yanyan wanted to be seen as less of a monster a good start would be getting rid of all the extra body parts. Yanyan's body structure was very close to that of humans. "Kind of." A few tails and arms stuck out of her back from Random beasts, her skin was a slimy purple tint. Along with a set of horns sticking out of her head it would be hard for most people to see her as normal. "How do we fix that." Tapping her chin, Azalu tried to think about what she could do to help Yanyan. "I could cut them off." That would be the easiest solution though it would probably cause a lot of needless damage.
"I don't know, this is just how I grow."
"Want me to slice off each part?"
"Uh...no. At least not until we run out of ideas. I hate these parts but I don't want to just get rid of them either. They're still a part of me in ways."
"Fair, I'm just trying to help you with the image you present. If you could control them and hide them it would make things a lot easier on you and others. That or you could just hide away from humans and beasts for the rest of your life. I'm sure you don't want that though, do you?"
"No..."
If that was what she wanted Yanyan would have left that abyss. She could have just stayed down there with the hundreds of Astral beasts to feed on. Xilo's memories had influenced her to escape and seek freedom. They had even affected the goals she was creating for herself. They were like a baseline for who she was and Relia/Azalu were the next step. "Astral Energy." That was the energy that was flowing through her body. The darkness she had used before came out of her palm as she looked at it. Before when she used it she had no idea what it was, it was more of just an instinctual use of it.
"Maybe...I can't get rid of them but hide them instead?"
That was the best solution she could currently come up with. "Let's see if that works." Using the Darkness that was in her body she covered her back and all the other extra parts around her body. If she could just hide it from people's perception it would make life easier. When she asked Azalu if she could see it, Azalu nodded her head, it looked like such a vast gap that faint traces still remained. That was good enough for Yanyan though, so she was happy. Looking at the slightly hidden new form of Yanyan, Azalu asked her if she could make something appear again.
"Hey Yanyan, do you mind maybe showing off your horns? I think they're quiet and shouldn't be too big of a deal if you show them."
"Really...?"
"Yep, now you look cute!"
She still had that purple tinted skin so with the horns she might just be mistaken for an Astral Beast that was similar. "I think they're called the Yeili's." They were winged Astral Beasts that walked on two legs with horns that extend as long as their arms. Yanyan's were a bit shorter and different but that was fine. She could just use the excuse of being a younger generation that hadn't fully matured. "Is there anything else I can do here?" With Yanyan mostly dealt with now and her power recharged it was probably time for Azalu to go. "How do I leave her though..." It didn't take long for a perfect opportunity to pop up.
While Yanyan was messing with her hair a violet burst of darkness attacked her and forced her to the ground. Wriggling in sudden pain she looked to Azalu for help. "It looks like a backlash." Quickly analysing her condition Azalu confirmed that she would be okay given time. "This is my chance to leave." Crouching down she rubbed Yanyan's head. It was a short meeting but it was nice to talk with someone again. "No more playing games though." Azalu had her own goals and she couldn't get distracted by trying to be a Mother any longer. If she wanted to get back at that man then she needed to find him as soon as possible.
"Looks like this is goodbye for us, maybe we'll meet again someday."
Unable to respond, confusion flashed past Yanyan's eyes before she realised what was said. Groaning, she couldn't use her voice anymore as the darkness inside of her ripped her body apart. "Wait!" She didn't want Azalu to leave her, she was the first person to meet that actually treated her normally. "Don't go.." Tears formed in her eyes as Yanyan began to cry for the first time in her life. Emotions weren't something she was used to and now she was being overwhelmed by a sudden sadness. She had grown attached to Azalu in this short time. It hadn't even been a full day but she didn't care.
"Stay..."
"I can't, just like you I have things to do too. I've taught you how to talk, gave you more memories and helped you grow a little bit. Figure out the rest yourself alright and if you decide to find Xilo again. Don't tell him you met me, ever. He can't know about me or where I am and this is for his sake. I will kill him if he tries to stop me."
Azalu's body began to morph into her bird form as she said that she had resolved herself to do whatever it takes.
"Promise me that."
Yanyan couldn't respond with her voice but in the end she loosely nodded her head, in this condition she had no other choice. Without a second though Azalu disappeared as fire scattered where she stood and landed on the ground. Reeling in pain Yanyan watched the fire burn along the ground as she dealt with all the pain she felt. "Relia....Azalu..." Memories of Azalu and Relia spending time flew by in her head as saw where they split paths. "You really think you killed Relia, Azalu?" A memory of her soaring into the air with a woman that was apparently called a queen in her claws came into vision.
"Memories...are so complicated."
Watching her crush the Queen another man appeared in the air beside them before Yanyan's vision blacked out.
