Fight For Me

Going through everything Felli had been learning, that care for her "secret" to be spilled was nonexistent. For Felli it was hard to not trust Lexia after all she had done for her. Lexia sat on the side as little purple balls floated around Felli's body and exploded. The space around them tore apart before quickly repairing itself. Clapping quietly, Lexia encouraged Felli to keep going. "Katrin suppressed this girl for so long." Seeing her now being so full of energy was nice for Lexia. "I still remember finding her getting bullied." At the time she had just thought Felli was a maid working in the Castle when she was visiting.

"Her clothes were all dirty and her face was completely hidden." A bunch of royal idiots were picking on her and talking down to her like she was worthless. It was quite a sight even for her honestly and it had managed to spike her protective instincts. With no one else there to help the poor girl, Lexia stepped in herself and protected her from the bullies. "I could only help her that time.." Lexia knew when she had left they would probably just come back like nothing happened however that was fine. As long as she was around they wouldn't hurt the poor girl. It wasn't until after that little experience that Lexia figured out it was Katrin's daughter.

"Katrin didn't really say much about it at the time."

It seemed like Katrin had sort of just given up and accepted the situation for what it was. Katrin's attitude had annoyed her at the time. "What could I do though?" It wasn't her family let alone the Country she ruled over. Anything she said or did was going to be pointless. So she ended up leaving it alone, just trying not to think about it. The times she visited though she made sure Felli was in good care by staying by her whenever she could. It wasn't nearly enough but it helped. "Or so I like to think." Looking at Felli now it looked like she had turned out alright despite the circumstances.

"Good."

Once Felli had finished showing everything she could they both fell into a silence. Felli paced back and forth a few times before walking up to Lexia. Taking a seat next to her she felt the slightly wet grass graze her hands as they sat together. It was weirdly calming, just being next to Lexia. It only made Felli focus on her guilt though as she watched the water rise and fall with the wind. Lexia didn't say a thing as she watched Felli's facial expressions change a bunch. "I wonder what's on her mind?" There were also a few things Lexia wanted to talk about with Felli, so this was a good chance.

"He-"

"hey-"

Both talking at the same time Lexia let out a chuckle as Felli fell silent.

"Sorry, sorry. Go on Felli, if you had something you wanted to say>"

Pushing past that little bit of embarrassment Felli straightened up as she got what she wanted to say off her chest.

"Well...I'm curious Lexia, do you uhm...I guess hate me? I don't really know how else to put it."

"No of course not, what makes you think that?"

Lexia tried to hide her shock hearing that.

"Well you have to know by now the full story that happened with my Mother. I was completely a part of it and helped her. I'm partially responsible for that City's destruction just the same as her. I've been worried this whole time and a pit of guilt has been growing in my stomach since meeting you because of it. So I'd like you to be completely honest and stop hiding your feelings on the matter. If you don't, I think I'll go crazy with worry."

"Ahh.."

Hearing all of that Lexia understood where she got that idea from.

"Well Felli, If I'm being honest I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel some kind of negative emotions towards you. I wouldn't particularly call it hate or anything that far but it's there. I'm just doing my best to separate you and your Mother from each other. Even though you helped her, she was the one behind all of it and you're here right now directly helping fix that problem. Same goes with Katrin, I have my doubts for her but you're both helping. I'd just be needlessly petty if I hated you and her for that, no? So I'd rather just try and move past it. I do think your Mother is up to something still though if that helps. I like you though, so don't worry."

Digesting all of that information Felli couldn't come up with much to say, she was just happy that Lexia didn't hate her.

"Thank you...I didn't want to hurt you, I just..wasn't myself then."

"I said don't worry! Besides I have a few things planned for you while you're all here that you may hate. So if it helps you can think of a bit of payback."

"Huh? Like what?"

Lexia tried to think of the best way to word her next sentence. Felli and her friends didn't come here to just play games. Lexia knew that and she was positive Katrin did as well. Lexia wanted her to fight for them and protect this place. "From that little test earlier..I don't know though." She had fully expected the people she had hired to rob that store to die. Xilo and Xelfia both just knocked them out though. Now that she had also gotten to know them a bit more could Lexia really just send them out to fight. It was a very hard decision but that was their main purpose in coming here.

"Do you think you could all fight against Cestrin?"

Her tone turned serious as she looked Felli straight in the eyes, she had to make sure Felli knew this was far from a joke.
