Once everyone returned Lexia debated what she wanted to do next. It was pretty late now so going to sleep was probably for the best. "I guess I'll save some more stuff for tomorrow." Letting everyone go Lexia headed towards her own temporary home. She refused to go anywhere near the Castle in it's current state. That place was a bomb waiting to be set off with one little trigger. She had always been kicked out after arguing with her too much. If she talked to him again and asked if she could return he would probably let him but she refused to do that.
"I tried to talk with him, I tried to reason with him...look where that got me."
Slumping into her home she went up to her room. It was in the distance of the place she let everyone else sleep in. All she did was have to look out the window and she would see it. Along with the large pond that was right next to it. It was a nice view so she often found her eyes gravitating towards the window without much thought. Using the moon's light hovering in the sky to read she took out a few documents she was given. Even in her current state she had the means to get information that was happening in her home. "Cestrin's starting to make large movements." Biting her finger, she read through the rest with a bit of nervousness.
"We aren't making any attempts to hide our aggression either. We're the weaker side though in this war, surely he has to know if we fight we'll lose. So many lives lost pointlessly...."
Lexia knew Cestrin were the aggressors in this scenario however that didn't change her thoughts. "He wants to use our people to fight instead of evacuating them...." They weren't even aware unless they had some influence. He was going to use them as bodies to stall. "Why though?" Even if he had thousands of people line up and volunteer to be meat shields they wouldn't win. Cestrin's strength was much more than their own. "I don't think he's that stupid." She may have hated to admit it but even in his current state he wasn't suicidal.
"So what the hell are you planning? What are you hiding from me that makes you so sure you'll win this pathetic war? Landal....how far are you willing to go?"
if Landal or Cestrin weren't stopped this Country was doomed. "No one else will help us." They were all just vultures waiting at the sides to pick up the scraps. Lexia had only managed to secure one ally for them and they weren't strong either. "I can't fully trust Katrin either." Finishing up her notes Lexia felt a pit of despair growing inside of her. "Maybe if I ask my family for help." Lying down on her bed she thought of her last resort. If she were to do that though then she would be forced to return. "Are you happy breaking your promise, Landal?" Closing her eyes she let sleep take over her body. All of these thoughts would only mess with her head, she needed to sleep.
"I hate you."
After a couple of hours passed Lexia was peacefully sleeping when a loud noise entered her ears. Bolting up right at such a sudden noise she looked around her room. "Are we being attacked?" Going up to the window she looked around to see if she could spot anybody. There was nobody there but a lone figure down by the pond. Staring at the figure Lexia couldn't get a clear look as she heard another explosion coming from there. "I better go check it out." Putting on some clothing Lexia walked out of her house towards the figure at the pond. It seemed like they were the culprit responsible for making all the noise.
*Rrrrrraah*
Once she got closer the figure was a lot more recognizable for Lexia. "Is that..Felli?" Seeing as they weren't being attacked Lexia calmed own as she got closer. it was a bit surprising to see her awake so late at night all alone. Coming up behind her Lexia sat down, since she was already awake there was no way she was going back to sleep with Felli making all that noise. "Wonder if she woke up everyone else?" She didn't see the others so she didn't know. Hearing someone approach her Felli stopped messing around with her Spacial Energy and looked at who came.
"Oh, Lexia. What are you doing here?"
"I was sleeping when something woke me up, it was quite loud and made it difficult to go back to sleep."
"Ah my bad...I usually like to practice at night when no one else is around. It's just easier like that for me. I didn't mean to wake you though. If you want I'll stop."
"No, no. It's really not a big deal. It's nice to see the infamous Spacial energy Katrin loved to boast about in person. I thought it was dead inside your family but looks like you have come far since we last talked."
Hearing Lexia's praise, Felli only felt guilty. Even in this kind of situation Lexia was still treating her nicely. She was katrin's daughter so out of everyone here Lexia should have been pissed at her. Felli had almost expected it when she first arrived here but Lexia never said a thing. That had only made her feel worse and now she had woken her up. "Kind as always." Lexia was someone she had faint memories of in the past, passing by in the hallways and one time where Lexia had given her some help. Even though she had no idea who she was at the time.
"Thanks....."
Awkwardly trailing off, Felli didn't really know where to go from there. In truth she had only really come out here because all the other girls had gone to sleep with Xilo leaving her all alone. in her anxiousness she had wandered outside looking for a place to escape. "I do want to train but it was sort of a lie." Seeing the awkwardness Felli had, Lexia tried to guide the conversation in a different direction. Asking Felli to display some of her skills she wanted to see how much this girl had grown for herself. "Let's see it." Felli was meant to take pride in these kinds of things, not just hide it or put herself down.
"Mind showing me some of your skills? I'd love to see."
"Sure..."
