So Much For Taking It Slow

"Well, I should probably go talk to her now then. I assume she's just lying around in her bed so it would be best to just get it over with."

Rolling her eyes at Xilo, Xelfia pushed him off the bed and towards the door. "At least he's doing something about it." Right now really wasn't what she had in mind when she suggested this. Maybe now Felli could stop giving her pouty glances throughout the day. "That or he'll completely mess it up." As Xilo disappeared Xelfia felt her confidence in him fading by the second. "He'll be fine...right?" There was nothing she could do now but wait for the results. If she went to stop him now then it would only make things worse. Lying back down, Xelfia noticed Tearia peeking up at her still awake.

"Are you alright with this Xelfia?"

Reaching over Xelfia grabbed Tearia's hand and smiled.

"Of course, what about you? I seem to remember someone almost killing me over something similar. Got that itch this time around?"

Tearia's cheek turns red as she tries to hide her face.

"No..."

"Oh good, I'm sure Xilo will appreciate that. Now actually get some sleep, silly girl. I'm glad you're worried for me and I'll keep my feelings in mind."

"Alright."

The two both shut their eyes as they tried to get some sleep. Wandering through the halls, Xilo walked back to the room Felli was staying in and knocked on the door. "If she's asleep, I'm going back." That thought was instantly shot down as the sound of footsteps came closer. Opening the door Felli peaked her head out to see Xilo had come back. "Huh, didn't he go to bed?" Hearing him ask to come in Felli fully opened the door and stepped aside. Stepping inside Xilo looked around the small little place. There was only space for a few chairs surrounding a table and the bed nearby. Smaller then he was used to after living in the Castle for a while but still a nice place to stay.

Taking a seat at one of the chairs by the table, Xilo awkwardly touched his cheek as he tried to think about what to say. "What am I doing?" He had walked in on her without any kind of plan. He was kind of just hoping it would head in a direction that was favourable for him. "I blame Xelfia!" If she didn't rush him, he might have been able to think more carefully about this. Tilting her head Felli moved aside her long hair covering most of her face as she glanced at Xilo. "Did he want to talk more?" Sitting down at the table across from him she went silent as an air of awkwardness overcame them.

It lasted like that for a few minutes before Xilo finally managed to push out some form of noise. It wasn't a sentence and it was far from pretty but it was a start. "I need to be the one to take the lead." If Xilo never moved forward on his own then progress wouldn't be made. What if's and other scary thoughts crept their way up in him as he began to talk. "Xelfia was right, I was scared." When he had tried getting closer to Relia she had run away from him constantly. Avoiding him or even just refusing to talk to him, that had left a pretty deep impression on him.

Then once he had begun to close the gap with her once more she had completely vanished from his sight. If something similar happened with Felli then he didn't know what he would do. "Then let's start slow." There was nothing wrong with taking his time and feeling it out. Extending his left arm, Xilo placed it on the table in front of Felli. Stretching out his entire palm he ignored the three icicles that hadn't changed. "Still no idea what they do either." Pushing past that thought Xilo was going to say something else when Felli reached down and grabbed on his wrist.

"What are these?"

Gliding her finger across his cold hand this wasn't something she had noticed before. She hadn't really gotten a chance to get so close and intimate with Xilo. He was usually always being clung on to by Tearia or Xelfia. Those two were a huge obstacle that stopped her from making any progress. So seeing something that looked so painful on his wrist she was surprised. "They've got a ton of energy in them." She could feel the power coming from them however it was vastly different from Xilo's. "How?" Seeing her concern Xilo instantly tried to calm her down, he didn't want her worrying.

"Just a minor annoyance, no big deal."

Clasping his palms around her hand Xilo tried to distract Felli from them. That wasn't what was important right now, getting their feelings across to each other was. Freezing at his touch Felli instinctively tried to pull away. She wasn't used to much human contact. After a moment though she cleared her mind as she looked into Xilo's eyes. He seemed very calm at the moment and there wasn't a hint of violence in his touch. In the past she had been hit quite a bit by other members of the Royal Family. It was a large reason she grew her hair out so long, not only to hide her face but to also hide the bruises they left on her skin so she wouldn't worry her Mother anymore then she already did.

"Uh...Xilo? What's the matter, is everything alright?"

Xilo still wasn't good at this even after experiencing similar things two different times.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I came back tonight because I wanted to talk to you about something. Hopefully that's alright with you?"

"Hmm...yeah, what is it?"

Her black hair dangled at the sides of her face revealing her clear beautiful skin as Xilo stared into her dark beautiful eyes. "So much for playing it slow." She was a beautiful woman who tended to hide her beauty all the time, too afraid of the world and Xilo wanted to break her out of that shell. To see just how far she could blossom and how beautiful she could become, together.

"Well…you see, Felli. I've had some time to think about something. Ever since your Mother brought it up, it's been in my head quite a lot and honestly. I think I like you Felli.
