Holding her body up Lexia stumbled over to a nearby house to use for support. "Another time." Once that pain had all subsided she left the wall behind her. Lexia' eyes wandered towards Landel's Castle as that insistent urge stayed inside of her heart. Her group had just taken over another Clan and were about to go group up with everyone else after receiving Xilo's message. "Instead of that." Following her impulses Lexia gathered up everyone and secretly went straight towards the Castle without informing anyone. Her footsteps disappeared into the crowd of people as a hint of darkness took over her body.
She was losing her sense of a self with each passing moment. A giant demonic eye flashed by her yet she paid it no mind, like she didn't even see it. Pushing the hair out of her face she felt the ground underneath her feet grow more smooth as they got closer. "Landel." At some point some of her soldiers realised they weren't going to meet up with others and got noisy. Some had even gone up to talk with her; however she just ignored them and kept going without a care in the world. She had a fight that she wanted to finish even if it was suicide.
Landel closed his eyes as he waited for their arrival full of hope that they would win. He was so excited that he almost couldn't stop himself from shaking in joy. He managed to keep himself from moving much as the crowd below awaited his orders. "They're coming." A presence entered his senses as he opened up his eyes. They were still far away however they were making their way towards him. Raising his hands Landel ordered his men to open the gate that blocked off the entrance. He wanted to make sure he gave them a warm welcome that they would never forget.
"Here they come."
After some more waiting, Landel saw a few human figures in the distance that he recognized instantly. "Lexia." That crazed anger came back as he tried to hold himself together. Xilo quickly swept up all the groups before anything could happen to them while they were alone. He was really worried about them being ambushed and picked off while they were by themselves. Landel was planning something, he just didn't know what. Xilo still hadn't found a single trace of him anywhere near or any of his soldiers which made it difficult. "Am I just being paranoid?" He might have been if it weren't for the fact they hadn't found Lexia's group yet.
"We told everyone to return and group up, so where the heck is she?"
Once Xilo had gathered up everyone she was the only one that they couldn't find. He thought they were just caught up in something at first and going to be a little slow, the more time went on though the more that didn't seem like the case. Filled with the worst case scenario kind of thoughts Xilo sent everyone out to look for her. She had to be somewhere in this city and if she was in danger they would find her. "Where are you?" Running around the City like headless chicken Xilo looked everywhere for her. "What did Landel do to her?" People came back and gave him their reports about finding zero information as the worry just increased.
"Where could Landel have taken you?"
There wasn't a sign of any fighting or a battle currently in progress which only left Xilo more confused than before. It was like she had just suddenly vanished without a single trace. "Did a ghost take her?" He had seriously paused to consider that for a moment before shaking it off. "No, not possible." Even if she was going to die Lexia would keep on fighting until she saw the end of Landel. She hated that man far more than the value she placed on her life. If she was dead then there would have been a body though. Which meant she was alive somewhere, he just had to find her.
"We have been avoiding the Castle since Landel is there. Would she really go all the way there with only a few hundred troops and herself? She knew the plan though so she shouldn't have, however we're running out of options at this point. If she isn't at the castle then I honestly don't know."
He really didn't want to think she had gone off on her own yet it looked more like that by the moment. Running around Xilo checked around a bit more just to see if he could stumble across something by sheer luck when he saw a man running towards him. "Another messenger, maybe he found her?" Stopping in place, he waited for the man to catch up to him. Once he did, Xilo tossed him some water and waited for him to speak up. Breathing heavily the man looked up at Xilo with fear in his eyes. He was tasked with going back to their base and checking if Lexia was there. When he went there Lexia wasn't there but he also found something else that was horrifying.
"Sir....When we went back to the base to look for Lexia we found no sign of her."
"Eh, then what's got you in so much of a hurry. You look like you've seen a ghost man, is everything alright?"
He didn't know how to bring it up so the man just got right to the point.
"Well we looked around a bit to see if we could find her when we stumbled across a few bodies. They were the soldiers that were guarding Tearia....When we went inside the house everyone there was gone. We have no idea where they are."
*Bam*
The fence area around a house collapsed as the man finished his sentence flinching.
"What did you say?"
Xilo's entire body tensed.
"Tearia is missing with all the others, sir..."
