"What were you thinking" my dad knocked me on the top of the head!

"It wasn't that dangerous I had a plan! Ouch!"

He smacked me again "you jumped out a window!"

I was going to defend myself more but, stopped when I saw him reading his fist again.

He sighed putting his hand down "You will wait here while I go check in with the principal again."

I nodded while nursing the large bump that was forming on my head. My father left and I was left alone in the classroom again.

I relaxed and thought back to what happened after Rumi knocked out the rocket kid the Hero team won the round. It wasn't too surprising since they were down three members and the rocket boy was the strongest on their team.

On the way back outside to meet with my dad I apologized to Rumi for causing her trouble and almost getting her molested. I was just bored from all the waiting around and wanted to test my skills on someone closer to my age.

She slapped my back and told me not to worry about it. She told me I had decent skills for a kid and requested to have a match against me when I was older.

I agreed and asked about the rocket guy pointing behind us where he was shooting me a look that could kill.

She waved him off "he thinks he's all that just because he has a good Quirk. Everyone knows he's a scumbag and a pervert but, since he never goes much further than looking and because his parents are rich the school can't expel him."

"Sounds like he's going to be a sucky hero" I mocked.

"Yeah, I guarantee that with that personality he's never going to get popular."

"I think he should be more worried about being targeted by Stain" I mumbled.

"Who" Rumi asked?

"The Hero Kill" I looked up at her "you don't follow the news do you?"

She shrugged "not really."

"He's a new Villain that's popped up recently, apparently he's an idealist who thinks that most Heroes are corrupt. And takes it upon himself to "exterminate" those he deems unworthy."

"Wow" she looked shocked "there's a guy like that running around! Why haven't I heard of him before? Even if I don't watch the news people should still be talking about someone like that?"

"Well, it probably because the government is trying to keep him unknown."

"Why would they do that?"

"Because, they know that a lot of Heroes are corrupt and that people might start to sympathize with him."

"Right, they don't want his ideals to spread."

"Exactly."

After we eventually got back to my father he went over all of our mistakes with us. Specifically things like the Villain team being unprepared it the Heroes did sneak past their defenses on the bottom floors, or how Rumi didn't work with her teammates.

Though I noticed that any footage regarding the fight between me and Rumi was missing.

We loaded back onto the bus again and I was forced to be the girls plaything again.

Once we got back to the main campus my dad excused everyone for the rest of the day the exercise ended early. I wanted to see if I could talk to Rumi more since being friends with a future top ten Hero could only be helpful. But, it seemed like she absolutely hated school as she booked it out of there as soon as my dad said it was okay to leave.

And once the students left my dad yelled at me for doing what I did and left to see Nezu which brings me to what I'm doing now, which is absolutely nothing.

While I was busy being bored my dad had made his way to Nezu's office, knocking twice he politely waited.

"Come in" the childlike yet still authoritative voice rang out.

"I've come to give you my report on my first day subbing."

"And what do you think?"

"Honestly? They're okay they aren't going to be bad Heroes but, they aren't going to be great either."

"Yes" Nezu signed "we seem to be in a bit of a drought when it comes to talent with this class."

"Well, there was that Rumi girl Miruko was her Hero name if I recall."

Hearing about one of his prized students he perked up "Yes, she is quite skilled. I believe that she has the drive and the talent to reach the top 3 in the future."

"I'm sensing a but in there."

"But, she absolutely refuses to work as part of a team. Something to do with her childhood from what I've gathered, though I haven't been able to narrow down the exact reasons yet."

"Yes, I noticed that in both rounds she went off completely on her own."

"Her lone wolf nature is only going to hold her back in the long run" Nezu shook his head.

"I also have something else to say" my dad piped up.

"Oh, what else is there Mr. Iga."

"Can you please call me by my first name? We grew up with each other for heavens sake."

"Of course Hitoshi" Nezu smiled "I'll do that if you use my first name as well."

My dad groaned "You know full well I don't know your first name you've never told me, it always just been Nezu."

Nezu cackled "and that's just the way I like it!"

"We're getting off topic" my dad shook his head "I wanted to ask you about another one of your students."

"Which one?"

Rifling through the pages on his clipboard my dad found what he was looking "his name is Takeo Yushi, he's the one with the Rocket Quirk. During the exercise I saw him engage in some very unherolike activities and was just wondering what's to be done about him.

Nezu sighed again "Unfortunately although I am fully aware of his actions I am unable to do anything about him."

"Why" my father didn't seem satisfied with that answer?

"Because his father is a very close friend of the current Prime Minister and as long as he doesn't go too far in his actions expelling him simply isn't worth the trouble it will cause, and he is fully aware of that."

"I've always hated nepotism" my father scoffed.

Nezu rolled his eyes "says the man who abused his connections to get his son into school today, speaking of which he put on quite the performance didn't he."

"Don't remind me" dad facepalmed "his mothers going to be all over me when we get back. She didn't think it was a good idea for him today."

Nezu giggled "regardless of how reckless his actions today were he's shown a very large amount of skill for someone his age. His skill in escaping while tied up, the taking and hiding of the rope, taking the 2x4 in the instant he was thrown through the wall, and that incredible improvised grappling hook" Nezu started shaking. "Everything was absolutely perfect! He made all the correct decisions in his situation, really the only thing I can fault him on was having too much fun and underestimating Rumi's sense of hearing. I simply cannot wait to have him as a student!"

"Yes" dad wryly smiled "my sons a little monster isn't he?"

"I have to ask how exactly have you been training him? Because I've seen how Rumi trains and keeping up with her for any length of time is an incredible accomplishment for a child."

"He's been doing the same training regiments as me for the past several years."

Nezu jumped to his feet "You mean!"

"My lightest training routines" dad clarified.

"That's a relief" Nezu wiped the sweat from his brow "I like monsters but, something like that would have been too much even for me."

"If that's all then, I think I'll head home for now" my dad spoke before turning around to leave.

"Wait" Nezu stopped him seeming strangely serious all of a sudden.

"Yes" dad turned back?

"About those case files you sent me, even though nothing seems wrong I agree with you that something's up. It's all far too clean like something was covered up."

"So you'll see about getting it reopened?"

"I'll do what I can but, I just wanted to warn you to be careful. This is feeling like something big and I'm worried about you and your family."

"I'll be careful" my dad nodded "even if I'm not in the top ten that doesn't mean I'm weaker than them. I just don't like the limelight."

"I just wanted to warn you" Nezu spoke.

Dad simply nodded and left closing the door behind him.

"Come on let's go" dad called out to me.

I was about to complain about him taking too long when I saw his face. It was a face I had never seen him make before and it wasn't an I'm angry with you face. It was a somethings wrong kind of face, so I wisely chose to keep my mouth shut.

His demeanor changed as soon as he realized I noticed and he acted like nothing happened.

After returning home I was chewed out once again by my mom and was grounded for two weeks. I didn't complain since I understood why they were punishing me, to them I had done something incredibly stupid and dangerous. Not knowing I was already a trained Ninja at this point.

My punishment included no training, no TV, and making me attend school every single day when they normally let me ditch one or two days a week since I aced everything and had good grades.
