Natsu returned to the island soon after he delivered Lucy to the guild. Mira quickly noticed his arrival and approached him with a smile.
"You're back, Natsu. So, how did it go?" She asked with her head cocked.
"Everything's perfect. I delivered Lucy straight to the guild master. I bet she's cursing me and my nine generations of ancestry right now haha…" He laughed in a jovial manner. Mira also chuckled listening to him. At first, she didn't want to send Lucy back to the guild, but she was compelled to do it when Lucy tried to get in the way of her private moment with Natsu.
"Hehe, that's her punishment for trying to disturb our moment. So, what do we do now? Is there anything else left to do in this village?" She curiously asked. She wanted to enjoy herself with Natsu if there was nothing left to do.
"Let's visit the village chief first. I need to get the job reward. Then, we can enjoy ourselves." He replied while casually heading toward the village chief's manor, with Mira following along.
It didn't take too long for them to receive the reward for the job. They received seven million jewels and a golden zodiac key. After he placed the rewards inside his inventory they toured the island, enjoying each other's company.
They'd decided to spend the night in the village since they didn't feel like heading back to the guild so soon.
While they were returning to their room, he had a bothered expression. She looked at him worriedly. He felt like he was forgetting something important, a blank look plastered on his face while trying to recall it.
"What's wrong, Natsu? You look so spaced out," She asked, knitting her eyebrows.
"Nothing's wrong, Mira. Sigh… It just feels like I'm missing something. I'm trying to recall what that is, but I just can't seem to remember." He replied with a sigh. He felt that it was something important but he couldn't remember it no matter how hard he tried.
"Then it must be something unimportant. If it were important then you wouldn't have forgotten about it in the first place. You shouldn't waste your time trying to recall it." She said with a smile, trying to ease his worries. He felt a bit better after hearing this and looked at her thankfully.
"Maybe you're right. I guess I'm just being paranoid," he replied with a gentle smile. She grabbed his hands and dragged him toward an inn, having already booked a nice room for the night.
She quickly dragged him inside their room. The room had a king-sized bed, with enough space to easily fit two people. She pushed Natsu down the bed and climbed on top of him with a sly smile adorning her beautiful countenance.
"Just forget about all the troublesome things and try to relax. It's a rare occasion for both of us to be this free after all. Let's have a fun night together..." She remarked before swiftly taking his lips with her own. He broke the kiss after some time and flipped her over, seating himself on top of her while looking deeply into her eyes with a burning passion.
"Yeah, you're right. I guess I'm stressed out due to the battle. Let's enjoy ourselves, Mira." He said before swiftly capturing her lips while Mira reciprocated. Both of them had a long and passionate night together.

Natsu and Mira left the island the next day. He teleported Mira and himself in front of the guild, but when they arrived there, what greeted their sight was a wrecked guild building impaled by numerous giant metal rods.
Natsu and Mira were stunned to see this. They'd never expected their guild to get attacked while they were out.
"What the f*ck happened here!?" Natsu shouted in disbelief, but he soon remembered the thing that was bothering him the previous day. He forgot about the Phantom Lord arc. That's why he was feeling so uneasy the previous day.
"The guild is wrecked. Who could do something so cruel?" Mira exclaimed in worry. She was worried that some of her friends might be injured.
'Shit! How could I forget about this? I completely failed to remember the Phantom Lord arc. I guess I need to double-check my memories later. It would be a disaster if I failed to remember important events.' But he soon shook his head and looked at Mira with a serious expression.
"Let's go inside first. I hope nobody's hurt," he worriedly said to which she nodded in agreement. Then, they both headed inside the guild. Finding that all the floors were destroyed other than the basement.
When they arrived at the basement, they saw many guild members gathered there. The room was veiled with a depressing atmosphere. Everyone had a grave expression and slightly pale countenance.
Natsu noticed Erza talking to Makarov with a grim expression adorning her face. He approached them while Mira also left to look for her siblings.
"Master, Phantom Lord has gone too far this time. We should pay them back for this," Erza spoke with anger clear in her tone. She was visibly pissed at 'Phantom Lord' for attacking their guild.
"Well now, calm down. It's not something to make a fuss about. This is as far as those idiots will go. Besides, nobody was hurt, so let's just drop this issue. There's no need to clash with someone that resorts to a surprise attack. Just leave them be." Makarov casually replied while chugging his beer.
"But… what about the guild?" She asked grimly.
"We can always rebuild it. Besides, the guild building was getting old, I guess it's time to renovate it." He replied in an all too casual manner. Erza was visibly dissatisfied with the answer.
Natsu approached them with a serious expression, causing Makarov and Erza to quickly notice him.
"Master, are we just going to let them go? I'm sure this is just the beginning of their harassment." Natsu stated seriously, making both Makarov and Erza look at him with focused gazes.
"What do you mean my boy?" Makarov asked while Erza also perked her ears up to listen.
"Think about it for a second, Gramps. Why would Phantom Lord make a move against us all of a sudden? Our guilds have been rivals for a long time, but this is the only time they've made such an explicit move against us. They should know that warfare between guilds is prohibited, but then why would they attack us, even after knowing all this?" Natsu asked in a confident manner, making Makarov and Erza wide-eyed.
"Natsu, you don't mean…" Erza muttered, seemingly understanding the point he was trying to get across. Makarov also realized something.
"Yes, there must be a motive behind this attack. I don't think Phantom Lord's guild master would do this without any objective, and I can probably guess his reason," Natsu replied, causing visible surprise to adorn both Erza and Makarov's faces.
"What is it, my boy?" Makarov asked, his pupils slightly dilating.
"Just say it already, Natsu," Erza spoke with impatience.
"It's the Heartfilia family." Natsu declared, making Makarov and Erza surprised.
What does the Heartfilia family have anything to do with the 'Phantom Lord' guild's transgression?
