The 'Fairy Tail' mages started battling the 'Phantom Lord' ones. It was a one-sided match for the 'Fairy Tail' mages since most of the 'Phantom Lord' mages were merely cannon fodder. The 'Elemental Four' and 'Master Jose' were on the second floor, eagerly awaiting their arrival.
The 'Elemental Four' consisted of Aria, Totomaru, Juvia, and Sol representing the Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth elements respectively.
"Master Jose, the battle has begun but where's Gajeel? He should have arrived here a long time ago. Do you think something happened to him?" Totomaru worriedly asked. He had a bad feeling about this. Gajeel wasn't one to be late for such an important event.
Totomaru was a young man with long, two-toned hair of black and white that was tied up into a Japanese-style top knot on the back of his head. The black portion overlying the front and left side of his head, leaving the smaller white portion concentrated on the left, with the top knot also having the two separate colors correspondingly. On his face, Totomaru sported a simple marking consisting of three horizontal black bars passing across the ridge of his nose and both cheeks in a linear formation, with the one in the middle being the longest.
"Non non non, something happening to Gajeel-sama? That's impossible. Like those fairies can even harm a single hair of his. Besides, hearing those fairies below we can be assured that Gajeel-sama accomplished his mission perfectly. I guess he's eating his favorite steel bar somewhere before joining us. He's an iron dragon slayer after all haha…" Sol replied before laughing boisterously.
Sol was a slim man of average height with a tiny, pointy mustache and green hair pointing upwards. His right eye was always hidden by a monocle attached to a slim chain; under it, the eye itself seems small and round, in contrast to his other, larger eye. He wore a formal attire consisting of a brown suit with a ragged collar, bearing six prominent protrusions jutting outwards over a white shirt paired with a red tie and simple shoes.
Totomaru relaxed a lot after hearing this. Juvia had a stoic expression, as if whatever happened to Gajeel didn't matter to her.
"Ho ho ho, I guess Gajeel's been a bit rebellious these days. I need to properly discipline him when he's back. At least he did the job right, or else the punishment would have been a lot worse." Jose replied with a creepy chuckle. He subconsciously released some of his magic giving chills to members of the 'Elemental Four' except Aria.
Jose was a tall, slim man with long, straight, black hair reaching down to his shoulders and a thin mustache, which were dark reddish in color. He had a long and sharp face, vaguely pointed ears, prominent eyelashes, and dark-colored lips. He wore a flamboyant coat with a high collar that sported a jagged mantle and jagged lower edges, as well as intricately decorated borders and inners, featuring two prominent wings similar to a bat's, with a matching witch-like hat. He also wore a plain shirt that sported his 'Wizard Saint' medallion around the neck.
"It's too bad that Gajeel isn't here." Aria said with a sorrowful voice. Jose retracted his magic after hearing him. Aria was the strongest of the 'Elemental Four' after all.
Aria was an extremely tall and massive man with tanned skin. He didn't seem to have visible hair and possessed a rectangular, elongated face with prominent cheekbones, which had his rounded chin jut downwards. A thin, vertical dark line was present on the chin, crossing its whole length up to his lower lip, and his nose was flat. He possessed wide dark eyes topped by thin dark eyebrows, which were usually hidden away by a simple, light blindfold, which he used to restrain his power.
"Juvia doesn't care about Gajeel. Juvia is just mad at being unable to find the blondie." Juvia answered with a frown.
Juvia was a slender teenage girl with long azure blue hair that was tightly curled at the base, midnight blue eyes, a snowy skin complexion, and a curvaceous figure. She wore a sapphire blue coat, a cream-colored fur trimmed navy blue shawl with a pure white teru teru bōzu attached to it, as well as a matching Russian Cossack hat.
"Non non non, don't worry Juvia. It wasn't our fault that Makarov detained that Heartfilia chick to who knows where. I heard she broke an important rule and was being punished for her actions. I also heard that there was another guy with her joining the punishment." Sol answered with a half-hearted smile. He was frustrated by the failed mission as well but he didn't want to see mulling over it.
"Still, it doesn't satisfy Juvia at all. Juvia doesn't want to fail any mission." Juvia answered with a sigh. Jose looked at Juvia with a fake smile. He didn't want Juvia to fail her upcoming task due to her frustration.
"Don't worry about it Juvia. It doesn't matter whether we find Lucy Hearfilia now or not. After today there will be no Fairy Tail guild in Fiore ho ho ho…" Jose said with an evil chuckle, making the others delighted. Only Juvia didn't have any change in her expression. It seemed as if whatever happened to 'Fairy Tail' didn't matter much to her.
"Are you guys ready for it? Make sure to follow the plan accordingly. I don't want to hear about any failures, or I'll properly punish all of you. After today, Phantom Lord will forever be the true number one guild of Fiore ho ho ho…" Jose declared, looking at the others seriously. He didn't want anything to go wrong with the plan. He had spent such a long time on it after all.
