Wearing an all-black outfit starting with my cap, and oversize t-shirt tucked in my leather pants. And my all-time favorite black shoes which brand is not so popular. I sat there unbothered.
I crossed my legs while watching them skillfully slitting the neck of the weaklings. They started to shout in pain.
"Everybody screams in here." I said with my devilish smile forming in my mouth. "Y'all will get sick of it soon enough." I added.
Silence filled the warehouse. Told ya. I thought. No one dares to talk or even create small noises after they'd see how horribly the three men got killed.
"You, come forward." The tattooed man calmly said but death is carved all over his body. With a trembling knees and eyes full of despair, the man step forward. He hurriedly bends his knees in front of the person who will take his life with no mercy.
"Please! Spare my life! I need to live! I need to---"
"You called your life a living? What a joke." I said, mocking him.
"Any last word?" Asked by the tattooed guy.
"Let me live please—Acck!" And in just a blinked of an eye, the guys was bathing in his own blood.
I tsked. "You should've just begged them to kill you. In that way, they will let you live. You chose the wrong words." I said with a hint of disappointment in my voice whike shaking my head.
"What are you thinking Young mistress?" I turned my gaze to the curious cat. Fear was written all over his face.
"If I tell you then I have to kill you." I slowly formed my right hand like a gun and aimed it to his head. "Bang...!"
I laughed crazily.
I inhaled and out a deep sighed as I licked some chocolate from my finger. Even my finger nails were prettily painted with matt black nail color.
I reached the TV remote on the center table then I pressed the off button. It was a documentary entitled "Shout death" one of my favorite thriller documentary. I was told it was based on true story. That's why the feeling was surreal, I feel like I was in the scene.
I like how Savanna- the Young mistress of the story perceived the life and death matters. She spares those who hopelessly chose death over life and sentenced death to those who desperately screams to live.
Her explanation goes something like this the people who would chose a gruesome death is the bravest, why? Imagine choosing a graveyard than a wonderland? Youre one of the bravest among all of the weaklings! *slow clap* the weak would chose to live a life like a prison that they can never escape.
I somehow half agreeing to her stand, But if I were to choose, I'll always choose to live. I am both the jailer and the prisoner in my life anyways!
I'm on way to my new school. I was already in my 2nd year in college. I took up Bachelor of Arts in English Language study in no particular serious reason. I've just got curious about it.
My phone rang all of a sudden. It was my so-called Dad calling me. I didn't mind answering it. I just watched it until it stopped.
I take a small sipped of a freshly squeezed orange juice when my phone rang again. I glanced at it beside me annoyingly. For the second time I've just watched it until the call ended. It was followed by a beep tone, a signed that someone has texted.
I opened the message and rolled my eyes when I found out it was my Dads text.
-Pick up the phone stone head!-
I was about to reply when he calls me again. Irritated, I answered the call.
"Why?" I said using my cold tone.
"Finally you picked up my call!" He said with a high toned.
I moved away my phone to my ear. "No need to shout Dad. Why'd you call?"
"Nothing, I just missed you."
"Come on Dad. A sweet bone doesnt run in our blood." I cringed to what he has said.
He chuckled before he replied.
"Its true! But kidding aside, this is the day."
I sighed when I realize what he was trying to say.
"Are you ready?"
Im not...yet.
"Do I have a choice?"
"Unless you accept this, your choice doesnt matter." He said with a serious voice.
I know this already but can he just give me at least a few more days? a weeks? Months? Years?!
I gulped. "I know, but dad..."
"Seventh." I froze.
"Its time. Weve been waiting this for a long time." He added.
Why it has to be me?
"As the next in line...can I have a few more days? "
"They'd given you enough time sweetie." He said with sympathy. If he was in front of me his next move was to hug me...with a rope in the neck. I almost chuckled with my thought.
"I wish I was there to hug you."
"Dad cut that drama. If I know, you were plotting some dreadful scene to get out the best of me." I said nearly loathing him.
"Hahaha! You are really my daughter! By the way, dont forget, tomorrow is the C-Day."
I bit my lower lip. I guess theres no way to escape this.
"You'd be here tomorrow right?" I asked.
"Why? You scared?" He teased.
I gawked though hes not here.
"That adjective doesnt exist in my dictionary, Dad."
"Kidding! Of course Ill be there. I shouldnt miss to witness your C-day." I know theres a bit of sadness in his voice though he tried to be cheerful.
"Dont worry Dad. This time, I wont ditch the ceremony." I assured him.
I hang up after we bid our goodbyes.
I leaned my head at the back of the sofa, closed my eyes and put my arms above my forehead.
'We've been waiting for this.'
What Dad said echoed on my mind. Im the heir and with that title, a great responsibility was on my hand. The inauguration shouldve happened three years ago but I ditched it. They gave me time and now is the day to finally gave myself up to the family.
*Beep beep*
I reached my phone. One message has arrived.
--Welcome to the family in advanced, Vivian : )
I smiled.
By the way, my name is Vivian Ellain Valorem. Im the seventh. Im in twenty. And I am destined to be Their Heiress.
