He opened the client and saw that his nickname was 'nothin' but a G-thang'. He thought old Edgar whose body he now occupied was a hardcore Snoop Dogg fan. He impatiently opened ranked tab to see how he fared compared to the old Edgar. The account was Silver ll and he almost thought of creating a new one thinking that it was too low of a rank. The prospect of trying to climb out of Silver was an utter nightmare. Then he realized that getting a new account and getting it to level 30 was wearisome work and he didn't feel like doing it. So he decided he'd keep this account and hope that a decent win streak would take him quickly out of Silver into the shining land of Gold players.
He soon found himself queueing up as ADC in a ranked game and grinding for some precious LP that'd take him out of this lowly form of existence in the realm of Runeterra. The queue ended up being short since the lower you are the more players you have to play with. Pick and bans in this elo was nothing but playing your favourite champion as no one actually had a clue about matchups and counter picks. He picked himself Ezreal as he was deceptively strong when your opponent could not dodge skill shots for his life. His support picked Janna which he actually appreciated as she only had to press E on him and do nothing else at all. After pick and bans, loading screen came up but it took ages to get into the game as it was 2015 and players this casual had sub-par computers.
Out of habit he bought the starting items as soon as his character appeared on the fountain and rushed to the red buff, waiting for his teammates to come along so maybe they can get an invade going. As his support was afk for a minute, there was no chance for invade and he headed to the lane after leashing for his jungler. He always hated playing against Brand support but this Brand on the enemy team had no clue how to hit skill shots. He immediately started hitting minions so he could get a level advantage and possibly a kill. People in low elo did not know about how many minions you have to kill to reach level 2 and it was possible to surprise them by suddenly all-inning them. Not surprisingly they reached level 2 first and started playing aggressively. Ezreal's Q's did not deal much damage this much early on but hitting every Q and squeezing in an auto attack every now and then got the enemy ADC low, his dominance was established and it was obvious that he was going to carry the game pretty easily and so he did. He was quite pleased with himself watching the enemy Nexus explode at the 20 minute mark.
