Chapter 28

I don't know when we got home, I have fallen asleep minute after Lincoln took my bag to me. When I opened my eyes, I'm already at my room. There's a wet towel at my forehead and my room's door were opened. I groaned when I tried to get up.

"Hmmm..." using my elbows, I pushed myself up. I moved my eyes to locate my wall clock, it's just 1:00 P.M. "Mother? Mother?" I tried to call my mother but no one responds.

Even with my sick body, I tried myself to walk towards my bathroom. I was inside the bathroom when I heard someone from my room.

"Kyle?" It was mother.

"I'm here." I answered.

"Do you need help?"

"Thanks, I can handle."

Mother waited for me to finish using the bathroom. When I opened the door, I saw him waiting for me. He guided me to walking towards my bed. He also tucked me in the bed.

While he's helping me, I can't help but to stare at his face. I knew he's sick worried about me. I bet he took a leave from his work just to take care of me. This ain't new of him. He always do that whenever one of us got sick, even during when my brothers were here. Mother always made sure that he kept us in his care even though he's helping dad with our company.

"Wait," he said suddenly. "Take this." He said then handed me a medicine. I took the medicine and he handed me a glass of water.

"Thanks." I said as I wiped the excess water from my mouth. He again fixed the bed.

"Take a rest, later I'll feed you some porridge." He said while putting wet towel at my forehead.

"Cook me some bacon." I requested. He giggled and pinched my nose. He knows how I love bacons.

"Sure, sleep for now." I nodded the tried to sleep.

The next day, mother told me he already called the school to excuse me for being absent. I think, it would take whole week for me to recover from this fever. Also, I got a call from Amanda. She informed that she's alrwady asking permission for our plan about the year end party.

"They don't agree?" I asked. It's about the venue. We thought that school might be the best place to conduct the celebration.

"Sadly, yeah." I heard Amanda sighed. "But don't worry! I already fixed it."

"How---" I coughed. "Sorry, I mean- how? What did you do?"

"Oh, no! Not me." She said. "Actually, we can still pursue the celebration, but it can't be at the school since it's not program conducted by the academy and division office. Even so, the principal told me that the academy will support our plan and we can use the covered court near the academy. He already talked to the owner so it's done."

"Wow, that's a great news." I said in awe.

"Yeah, Leo already announced the upcoming celebration, most of the students agreed to help and join. There's a small money needed, but it's already covered by each students." She said. "And oh, other teachers will be there too."

I frowned. "Why? It's not academy's academy so why bother?"

"The principal said that we still need guardian during that day. I can't refused, you know? I don't want to cancel the party for that petty reason. So I agreed, besides it's not bad idea. Teachers are happy, so we are."

After hearing those, I bit my lips. "I'm really sorry if I can't help you Amanda."

I heard her chuckled. "Silly. It's fine! I told you, I can manage. So you better gather your strength and be present next, next week. Save the date, December 31. Understand?"

I smiled. "Yes, I won't miss that day." We bid goodbyes before the call ended.

I put the phone at my side table then laid properly. I stared at the ceiling while thinking.

I should keep up and help them.

"December 31, huh..." I uttered.

'It's the same day.' If it's like last year, I would probably not join the year end party but instead buy cake and eat it with him and our families.

I sighed.

Four days has passed, my fever's already gone. Although, I still have a little cold and cough. I even convinced that I'm fine and okay so that I could go to school. Because today was the last day of our class, exactly 10 days before our year end party.

"Are you sure that you're okay?" Mother asked me for the nth time.

I stopped fixing my bag and looked at him. "Mother, I told you already, I'm okay. This little cough and cold won't kill me, okay?"

"But what if your it got worse? What if you fell into fever again? Kyle, just take another absent today. It's the last day of your class so for sure it's okay."

I shook my head. "Nope, we need to talk about our year end party. I need to there."

He sighed. "Fine." He said. "Just be sure that you'll take your medicines, okay?" I nodded. He stared at me then caressed my face. "I so glad that you're learning how to socialize with others. You're not that lone kid anymore."

I chuckled. "Am I that aloof?" Mother was always worried about me being fine just by being alone.

"Kinda?" We both laughed because of that.

My parents took me to academy, at the front gate, I saw Amanda and Leo. I think they're waiting for me. "Father, full over." Father did what I said.

"Is that Leo and Amanda?" Mother asked so I nodded.

"Yep." I took my bag. "I'm going now. Bye father, bye mother." I bid them goodbyes.

"Bye son, take care." I nodded then headed out. Leo and Amanda saw me and they run towards my direction.

"Kyle-kun! Welcome back!" Amanda yelled as she lauched herself at me.

"Amanda!" Leo yelled. "Don't don't that to Kyle. He just got recovered."

"Gomen!" Amanda clung onto me. "Is that your parents?" I nodded. "Let's go greet them!"

Amanda dragged me towards my father's car. I knocked at the windshield and my mother lowered it. "Good morning, Mr. Garcia!" Amamda greeted mother.

"Good morning, sir." It was Leo.

"Good morning too, darlings." Mother responsed. My father just smiled and nodded. "Ain't you going inside?"

"We are, we just noticed you so we came to greet you."

"Oh, is that so?" Mother smiled. "Take care of Kyle, okay? Call me if it's needed."

Amanda saluted. "Ofcourse! Bye Mr. Garcia! Leave Kyle to me." Amanda waved at my parents, my parents waved back. Then she dragged me and Leo inside.

While walking at the academy, I asked Amanda. "When did you became so close with my parents?"

She frowned as if she's thinking something. "Months ago? Remember the day after school festival? We exchanged numbers and since then, we kept on calling each other when we have free time."

"The f? Really?" Leo asked her cousin.

Amanda nodded. "Yup!" She clicked her tongue. "I told you, no one can resist my charms."

I sneered. 'I slowly starting to believe her.'

Since we don't have any classes today, we spend the whole day planning about the party. We gathered the grade 12 students at the gymnasium. Our teachers said that they'll arrange the food for us, so the decorations and other stuffs will be done by us, students.

The whole Grade 12 students chose to have enchanted garden inspired theme. Class 12 - A was assigned with the ceiling decorations. We decided to put disco ball, combination of blue, yellow and green curtains and some vines at the ceiling. Our Class, 12 - B was assigbed with the tables and chairs. Class 12 - C was assigned with the decorations at the walls. While, the Class 12 - D was assigned with the speakers, music and other presentations. Some students also agreed to preform for entertainment. Even us, student council since Amanda insisted.

The party will start at exact 7 P.M. that will last until 5 A.M in the morning. We will give each students permit to sign by their parents. Each students and teachers must wear a flower on their clothes that day to achieve the enchanted garden vibes.

"No more suggestion?" Amanda asked. She's the one who's leading the whole preparation. The gymnasium filled with murmurs.

A student from Class D raised his hand. "Can we have a contest?"

Amanda frowned. "Contest? Like what?"

The student stood up. "Hmm... like contest about our attire? The best attire?" Other students agreed. "It could be, right?"

Amanda looks like she's thinking about. "Yes, it could be. But how about the prize?" That silenced the whole crowd.

No one's speaking not until Mr. Augustus joined the talk. "Leave that to teachers." He said.

Students roared with happiness. Amanda tried to calm them down. "Guys, listen first!" The students followed. "So I think, it's clear already? Starting tomorrow, let's do what we've plan. Dismiss."

The whole preparation for the event was going so smooth. Since there's no more classes, we can focus on making the covered court ready for the party. Sometimes, some parents helped us in decoration but most of the works were made by us, students.

We made sure that everyone have there own place to focused. No one's being left behind. We promised to made this party perfect and we're making sure to achieve that.

"You need help?" It was Leo. Right now, we're decoration with the tables. The girls in our class were making table decorations, while boys arranging the tables.

"Nope, I can handle." I said as I lifted one table. I maybe an omega, but I'm still a guy. I can do some heavy works even with this feminine body of mine.

Leo tapped my shoulders. "Call me if you need some help." I nodded.

When Leo left, I started to move tables again. I was in the midst of doing it when I felt someone hugged me from behind. At first, I thought it's Amanda since she's the only person who have guts to touch me like this. However, by judging the pheromones this person emits, I know this is not Amanda.

"I miss your smell." This voice!

I removed the person's arms around me and turned around to see the person's face. That when I confirmed my hunch.

"What are you doing?" I can't help but to asked.

She plastered her queer smile. "Smelling you?" She said nonchalantly. "I miss you."

I hissed. "Look miss---"

She put her point finger at my lips. "It's Chris Lelaine Tantancia."

I annoyingly removed her finger at my lips. "Okay, Miss Chris Lelaine Tantancia. I don't know you. Why are you always coming near me?"

"Because I like you." She said it like it was nothing.

I frowned. "Like me? Are you insane?"

She made a step towards me, that made me step backwards. "Is liking you was insanity?" She took another step, I was about to move backwards when I felt the table at my back.

'Shit, I got no more space.'

She chuckled. "Don't avoid me as if I'm doing you any harm. I'm serious with my words earlier." She leaned to my ears. "I like you, Uele. Very much." She moved away then plastered anothe queer smile.

I swallowed. "Uele?"

"Everybody's calling you, Kyle. So I think I should call you by your second name." She said. "I want me to be the only one who'll call you that."

I can't catch any words to say. I dumbstruck.

Luckily, before she could utter new words, someone from group of students called her. "Chlel!" She looked at that person. "What are you doing there?"

The girl pointed me. "He asked for assistance, I just help him." Then she faced me. "Next time, you need help, don't hesitate to ask me. For you, I'm always free, okay?" She said then winked at me. After that, she went to her friends and left.

I blinked many times. I can't process.what just happened. Then someone tapped my back which startled me. "Shit!"

"Hey, you okay?" It was Amanda who tapped my back. I just nodded. "Why are you talking to Chlel?"

"Huh?"

She clicked her tongue. "You're talking to Chlel. That girl earlier."

"You knew her?" I asked.

She nodded. "Of course, Chlel from Class D. I told you that before right?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot." I said. I remembered, she told me about her the last time.

"I remember, she's a transferee just this year."

"Really?"

"Yep." She said. "So tell me, what are you talking about?"

I slowly shook my head. "Nothing, she just asked for assistance so I helped." I lied. As much as possible I don't want to talk about that girl. She's creepy.

"Hmm, is that so?" She said.

Amanda started to talk about something but I can't make myself listen to her. My mind's kept on thinking about that Chlel girl. She's weird and mysterious.

She kept on repeating that she like me but I never remember meeting or talking to her. I don't even know that she existed but she act as if we're so damn close.

I sighed. 'What does she wants from me?'

I forgot to add this in my previous update hahahaha. One reader asked about something about the first chapter. About alpha being topdogs, about pregnant chuchu part. So the reader asked, "What about female alphas?"

In my story, female and male alphas were the same. So they both have the good reputation and they can get female omega, male omega and also female beta pregnant. Though in my story, it's a rare scenario if female alpha got a female beta pregnant

So it means both have male genitals. So there! I hope y'all underatand it now or if not, you could asked some questions and I would gladly answer it in the next update. I maybe change (in some ways) the ABO system in this story, I hope y'all still continue to read and support this story.
