Sudden Wealth

Harry had scanned the remain, but he saw no sign of glowing organs. It could be caused by the fact that the creature was no longer alive, but somehow Harry doubt if that was the case.

The zombie chest was cut open wide as if something had been taken from the corpse.

"Could it be the heart?" He wondered, "If so, for what purpose..."

Harry contemplated whether to use his hand to probe the zombie's chest to see if someone already took the heart.

However, the disgust and revulsion of the zombie flesh and rotting smell is greater than his curiosity. Not to mention he doesn't even have any idea what the use of the heart.

"Well, maybe they would be willing to answer my curiosity." He nodded.

Harry scanned the leftovers of the battlefield to see if there's any clue or things worth noting.

"What is that..?" Harry walked to the middle of the hallway and took the item that caught his eyes.

"A child shoe?" Harry let out a confused look, then thought back to the family of three, "Ah, there's a little girl with them..."

He shook his head in disapproval, "I can't believe that couple brought their child to this godforsaken tomb."

"But why did they leave the shoe behind?" He wondered, "By the looks of it, they seem to be the winning side. They even had enough time to loot the corpse."

"Hmm..."

"Oh well, there's no use thinking about it," He shrugged and turned to the tunnel that lead deeper into the underground, "I am pretty sure I'll find out the reason if I proceed further into the tomb."

"Now, what should I do with this shoe..." He mumbled.

When the disgusting stone floor mixed with the blood and bits of flesh come into his sight, he sighed, "I'll take this with me..."

Harry tapped the shoe with his wand, "Reducio!"

Shua~~~

Accompanied by the purple light that come from his wand, the already small shoe started to shrink further until it was smaller than a nail.

"Erm, maybe this is too small..." Harry whispered with a red face as he kept failed in his attempt to pick up the nail sized shoe with his hand. And when he managed to pick it up, it immediately slipped from his fingers when he tried to put the shoe into his pocket.

"Hmm, If it's too small I would have no idea if the shoe missing from my pocket," Harry scratch his itchy cheek with his wand, "Better increased its size a little bigger."

Harry shut his eyes as he tried to remember his memory, "What's the incantation again... If I am not wrong it should be... Er... Engorgio? right, it's Engorgio."

"Let see... Engorgio!"

Shua~

An icy blue light lit up the wand as the shoe started to increase in size.

Unlike before, the speed was slower as the spell worked according to the caster's will. He only needs to experienced one fail to be able to understand the spell better.

When the shoe reached the size of a pinky, Harry stopped his spell and put it into his robe pocket after session of cleaning charms.

After it was done, Harry started to realize the usefulness of the shrinking charm.

He looked back to the corpse of weird zombie and wondering whether he should shrink the corpse or not.

It didn't take long for Harry to dismiss this idea.

"No matter how strong the cleaning charm might be, I doubt it would be able to make that... thing, clean." Harry scrunched his face at the weird zombie's mutilated corpse. The smell alone was already worse than the rotting meat.

When there's nothing worth inspecting anymore, Harry patted his pocket to confirm the content and continues his journey while sometimes spam a couple of lights along the way.

Harry also encounter his second stairs not long after. By throwing some lights down the abyss, he managed to find out how deep the stairs go. And the result surprised him.

He can't see the bottom!

The lights he thrown disappeared as though it was swallowed by the abyss and can't be seen again.

With this, one can easily imagine how far the stairs leading underground.

Other than that, Harry also didn't encounter any enemies much to his chagrin. He had no idea whether to be thankful for the family of three or scold them for killing all of the creatures and taking all their loots.

"It looks like this is going to be a long trip..." Looking at the endless stairs below made Harry hungry. He realized that he had not eaten anything since... forever.

Set the food aside, he can fill his belly with water as a substitute until he could find some food. Drinking plenty of water could make one belly full.

But he was immediately stumped when he realized he had no container to collect the water. He can't possibly be drinking straight from the wand right?

That would be very awkward and uncivilized just like educated person or barbarian.

"Oh? that thing..."

"Is this possible?" Harry thought back to the stone statue display he encountered back then. If he remember right, the statue was holding a champaign glass. Of course, the glass also made of stone.

With a little effort, he could create his champagne glass.

Harry immediately walked back toward the lone statue in the middle of the hallway.

There, he wondered what spell he should use to separate the hand from the glass with minimal risk and leave no uneven part to remain on the champaign glass. Even though he had Harry Potter's memory, he still had a mentality of that of a muggle. There's plenty of ways to create a cup or glass, one of them was conjuration. This fact eluded him since he was just a muggle the day before, not to mention some of Harry Potter memory was not pretty and missing in some places.

Harry was focused on his quest to find a cup. In the meantime, he also fiddle about with drinking water spell. He tapped his wand on the stone glass in the statue hand and whispered a charm he had been memorizing since earlier.

"Aguamenti!"

Fizz~~~

A clean, drinkable jet of water started to pour out from the tip of his wand and filled the stone champaign.

Harry stopped his spell when the glass was filled with water. But before he could pull back his wand, the whole tomb trembled. It was not caused by an earthquake, but a manmade mechanism from the deepest part of the tomb as though the gears were moving in tandem after switch was being turned on by someone.

The statue slides back a few paces and revealed a secret passage.

Harry Potter, the culprit of the whole accident could only stand there, dumbfounded by the sudden turn of event.

He would never have thought doing something out of boredom would trigger the tomb mechanism.

Harry examined the secret passage and couldn't help but sighed, "Another stairs? unbelievable."

But he was surprised when he went down the stairs, it was pretty short, just one story tall.

The secret passage was not deep and can be said to be short, Harry reach the end of the passage after minutes of walking.

What awaits Harry is something that would never imagine. He couldn't help but shocked at the spectacle in front of him.

The room was full of treasures!

No matter where he turned his head, Harry's vision was filled with sparkling gold and jewelry piled upon each other like a candy.

Harry took a deep breath and tried to calm his heart.

He was in a totally different world right now. It's possible that gold had no trade value here considering the place he saw so far were ruined buildings and zombies.

It was apocalypse!

It was doubtful whether the gold is worth taking or not.

Not to mention he had no magical bag to store the mountain of gold.

Other than gold and jewelry Harry also saw some interesting items amidst the sparkling mountain of gold. But he dared not venture inside the room and only stood in the corridor watching the room full of treasure.

Why?

It was because there's something suspicious erected in the middle of the room.

A massive steel golem!

The height reached one story tall and its limb were bulkier and thicker than any fatso you could find anywhere.

Even though it doesn't show any sign of life and activity, Harry knew that it might come to life when he go inside. He shook his head, "No, I am pretty sure it will come to life, it's very obvious. The golem is not supposed to be there, the placement is off. Even as a decoration or ornament, it's not very convincing,"

"This is remind me of my youth." Harry smiled wryly, "To think I would I find a mid-boss in a secret passage."

His gaze then landed on the massive steel golem, "Uh, this is too intimidating for a mid-boss."

Even after he said so much, no sign of fear or worry could be seen on his face.

It was because Harry is very confident in his magical abilities that run thought his blood. His very being is already different than everyone.

Harry raised his wand and smiled, "I guess I'll accompany the big guy to play for a little bit."
