Night talks and teasing

Having now eaten, Taka went to shower.

Half an hour passed, shower now finished and changed into something more comfortable, he went off to find where Fen was hiding.

Quickly finding her laying under his favorite tree, enjoying the evening sunlight. Book in hand, he went and joined her.

Hours passed as they relaxed in each other's company. The background noises of the city adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

The time came for Taka to come inside but as usual, he'd fallen asleep. Normally Snow would come and wake him, but now that job had been handed to Secretary Kim.

She slowly approached the sleeping pair being careful not to startle them awake. Observing Taka sleep brought a smile to her face. He really was handsome. A strong breeze blew past her causing her to face away from the sleeping pair. Seeing the nighttime cityscape before her, caused her to be memorized. She came to realize why Taka spent so much time here.

Enjoying the view she failed to notice that Taka had already woken up and was now standing beside her.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" A voice spoke to her softly. She answered on instinct.

"Hmm, really beautiful." Her eyes widened before she yelped in shock at the fact someone was standing beside her.

So shocked in fact that it caused her to stumble and fall. Fortunately, Taka caught her just as she began to fall pulling her into his chest.

Being in Taka's arms felt like heaven to her but she couldn't help but blush at the thoughts she started to have.

'If only he were older.'

"You okay Ms. Kim?" Taka asked concerned.

She nodded as she hid her face so he wouldn't see her blushing.

"Are you sure? You look a little red?" He still sounded concerned but she could hear the playfulness in his voice. She couldn't help but pout at the obvious teasing. That wasn't to say she didn't enjoy it.

"You're so bad teasing your Noona."

"My Noona, Huh?" Taka's playfulness once again coming out. Only now did Kim Mi-so realize her mistake and began to try and stutter out her defense, only to fail miserably. Her blush now growing even brighter.

"Noona, huh?...." Taka tapped his chin as he pretended to think.

"....Well, I'm fine with that, Secretary Kim is a mouthful to say every time I need you but in return, you've got to call me by my name when we're not in professional circumstances."

She nodded still too embarrassed to raise her head.

"So Noona, why did you come over here?"

Finally recovered from her blushing fit, only now realizing she was still being held by Taka.

"I came to bring you in obviously, you've got school tomorrow."

"Oh right, completely forgot about that." He chuckled nervously.

"You forgot? I thought you had an eidetic memory?" She asked sounding a little worried.

"Oh, I do. Still doesn't mean I don't misplace things sometimes." He couldn't help but laugh.

Staring up at him and listening to him speak his nonsense caused her to giggle.

'How could a genius be so forgetful.'

"Why do I feel like you just insulted me in your mind." Taka spoke in playful annoyance.

This made her giggle, turn into a full-blown laugh. Her laughter waking Fen who noticed a woman in Taka's arms, causing her to growl in annoyance.

"Taka, who is she?" She barked.

"Fen meet Kim Mi-so, my new personal assistant slash Secretary..." Taka paused and turned to Kim Mi-so.

"Noona meet my partner in crime, Fenrir." The wolf standing to evaluate the new woman beside Taka. Kim Mi-so couldn't help but feel intimidated, a giant wolf was staring down at her after all.

Fen snorted.

"Let's go in, you've got school tomorrow."

"Wait, you remembered? How did you remember, yet I forgot?"

Fen just barked at him before she moved toward the house.

"What just happened?" Kim Mi-so asked in confusion.

"Oh, Fen just wanted to know who you were."

"Were you just talking to her?" She asked in disbelief.

"Hmm." He nodded flippantly.

She just stared at him and decided not to ask.

Walking toward the house, he took the opportunity to ask about tomorrow.

"Hey Noona, what's happening tomorrow?" Kim Mi-so quickly slipped into Secretary Kim mode.

"I'll wake you up around 6am, get you ready, then we'll head to your school to finish your transfer. I'll pick you up at the end of the day once classes finish."

"Do we already have my uniform?"

She nodded.

"And they know about my special circumstances?"

"Yes, they know you're a prodigal genius with 4 PhDs." She replied, her tone filled with sarcasm. She followed up with a question.

"You nervous?"

"Nervous about what?" He asked not completely focused on the conversation.

"Starting a new school tomorrow?" she asked.

"Hmm, not really. It's not the scariest thing I've faced...." His thoughts trailing off for a moment, before returning again.

".... Besides if I'm lucky, I might already know some of the kids there." He said with a smirk.

Seeing him smirk Mi-so couldn't help but feel weird.

"You know someone that goes there already?"

Taka nodded.

"Boy or girl?" She asked hurriedly.

"Hmm, is Noona getting jealous?" His smirk returned along with his teasing tone.

"NO!....." she pouted realizing she'd answered a little too defensively.

"....I'm just curious." Taka eyed her before answering her. He decided to stop teasing her.

"It's not my first time in Korea Noona. I know quite a few people here. Though if I'm completely honest a large majority of them are adults, only a small percentage are people close to my age." The answer took her by surprise. She could hear hints of sadness in his tone, making her feel the urge to hug him.

"Must be hard being you?" She asked honestly.

"You have no idea." He replied with a sigh before making his way into the house as old memories began to surface.

Entering the house Taka spotted Snow relaxing with a whiskey. Snow spotted him and immediately knew something was wrong. Rather than say anything he just poured another glass, surprising Mi-So who had followed Taka in.

Before she had the chance to say anything, Taka picked the glass up and slumped down on the floor Leaning against Fen who'd nuzzled into him.

Snow stood up and walked out, asking Mi-so to join him.

Stepping into the next room, Mi-so voiced out his thoughts.

"How could you let a minor drink like that?" Anger clear in her tone.

"It's the only thing that helps him sleep when he's like that."

"What do you mean?" Mi-so asked worriedly.

"There's a reason why having an eidetic memory is both a gift and a curse..." Snow paused before continuing.

"....Remembering everything isn't always a good thing, especially if it's something you want to forget."

Horror flashed behind her eyes. She hadn't even realized.

Leaving her to her devices, Snow went to check on Taka. Finding a sleeping Taka and an empty glass by his side, he bent down to grab the glass. Feeling the movement nearby Fen opened her eyes, spotting Snow she growled in acknowledgment. Shortly after she lifted Taka on her back, moving him to his bed, not long after she joined him in the world of dreams.
