Are these really Divine Items or Cursed Items?

"Since you do know where we were from. Do you have any questions?" Sefie smiled. She was offering answers to Ryuji.

Ryuji in the other hand was stunned with Sefie's question. It looked like he was imposing. Nonetheless, these are gods and better not aggravate them. He would not like to be stuck by thunder and drop dead. "No, Sefie-sama. I am just amazed." Ryuji sincerely smiled back. He only knows a few things from mythology back then, it was Takehiko who had taken classes at that time. He was busy working to provide for him and his brother that he did not dig deeper on this knowledge back on Earth. There were some mentioned gods in manga but not as discussed by Takehiko when the latter was studying it back in the University. Indeed, he was amazed that there was a Divine Realm and now a Realm of Dreams. Never in his lifetime that he would encounter this.

"Let's continue then." Sefie said with sheer elegance to get back on track with the 'power up' ceremony. "I will provide you this amulet necklace. It the Tears of Styx. This should let you control your magic output." She waved her hands and showed a simple pendant with three tear-shaped gems. Left has amber color, the middle one is pink and the left one is purple in color. Between the tear-shaped gems hanging on the pendant, there are small beads that resemble small flowers. It looked like an accessory for a woman but then again this is a divine item that sounded cursed at the same time so Ryuji should not take it lightly no matter how feminine the accessory is.

Effect: control magic, this controls the mana output by the caster increasing magic proficiency. +5 to elemental resistance. Additional high proficiency on learning elemental spells and resistances.>

'Another scary item.' Ryuji blurted in his mind was reading the interface. The origin of the necklace sounded very creepy. After all, Sefie is the wife of the former god of the underworld. He should not be surprised with this. Though he does not know whether to cry or laugh as these are more cursed items than divine items. Regardless, it should help control his magic and its overpowered effects. He really felt slightly invincible now. He should test it soon.

"Lastly, to answer your problems with pharmacology, here is a Canopic Jar of Duat." Yubis waved his hand again for a small jar with a Jackal head. It was adorned with gold and inscriptions are written at the side of the jar. It seemed to whisper faint voices even if it's a miniature image, but he shrugged it off. He looked to the interface about the detail.

Effect: +5 Pharmacology skill. Increases proficiency in creating potions and poisons. It also provides a coded hint to create potions. Possibility to use function for herbs and related potion materials. May grant bonus amount of potion or poison that will be brewed.>

'Even the last item seemed to be creepy as fuck.' Ryuji wildly thought. Anubis is the God of the Underworld in Ancient Egypt. He would not be a surprise if this came from the underworld as well. Aside from being an item hailing from the underworld, this seemed to be useful, but he was a bit bothered about the voices that seemed to be whispering earlier. "Do you have a manual for this?" He instinctively asked. The sword and the pendant are pretty straight forward artifacts, but this may require some guide to use it.

"The manual was already lost after the Siege of the Romans when they conquered the Lower Egypt during the death of Cleopatra." Yubis embarrassingly replied. "But don't worry, I have put in some trick that will guide you in creating those potions. After the first ingredient, you can follow the colors that you want." Yubis swiftly said like a salesperson trying to sell a product to an indecisive customer. "And if that's not enough, the voices that you heard will even suggest what ingredient to use!" He continued to explain.

"Ok." Ryuji reluctantly agreed but it bothered him about the whispers. It the last item sounded dubious and creepy as hell, but he should give face to Yubis who seemed to have imbued its lost function to give it to him. 'I guess I just have to accept it.' He would like to politely refuse but was kind of scared at the thought if he declined, he might face the god's wrath.

The miniature image of the items went away. "These items will only resonate to your soul and your familiar's soul. I have mentioned earlier about the curse if someone tries to steal these items from you. Unless your soul was erased these items, they won't be able to be taken by others." Yubis explained.

"What kind of curse are we talking about?" Ryuji asked. He was curious about the curse and fearful at the same time. Should he seal these items?

"Oh, the usual pestilence, boils, unfortunate events and similar circumstances that will allow thieves to drop dead." Yubis nonchalantly replied. "It's like a security for divine items, it's pretty handy back then." Yubis smugly stated and gave a sideways glance to Hades. He was proud that these security features and items provided by Egyptian gods to pharaohs back then used these to secure their tombs for grave robbers and thieves.

"Ehhhh???" Ryuji was horrified. 'What the fuck!' He cursed inwardly. He was like drenched in a bucket of cold water or so his dream land body that is. He should definitely seal these cursed items. These are dangerous items, if he hunted using the Sword of Tartarus, will the animal die of sudden unknown disease and then unleash a terrible plague in Zariya? Or will he die after eating the animal that is cursed? These thoughts terrified Ryuji.

"Before you think of sealing those, hear us out. If you noticed that the items that we have provided you allows you to learn proficiency with the skills related." Yubis patiently explained leaving Ryuji no room to refuse. He sensed already that this corporate guy was thrown into wilderness and got his nerved wrack. It is not even two weeks when he got reincarnated. They had painstakingly set these items to help Ryuji survive the deep forest of the Valley of Ono. However, there is also a hidden function seal whatever was leaking out of this soul. That unknown data is still a threat to Zariya, but they can't refuse the transfer from Earth before since it was requested by a supreme being and approved by the council of supreme beings. They are still attempting to decode whatever that data is. These items being imbued on his soul will provide the necessary data to Tartarus Data Center.

Ryuji sensed that there is no escape as these items will be resonating with his own soul. Hopefully, he does not get killed by the curse one of these days. He still needs to search for his brother.

Yubis spoke again sensing the reincarnated man's uneasiness. "You are fretting about curses, but you forgot your own resistance to diseases. Either way, the curses will only activate if there is an intention to steal the item from you, otherwise it will still function normally." He said in an exasperated tone. He really thought that this guy was prepared for such a journey to a new world. Ryuji was able to accept his death but now he is like an ignorant fool and cautiously jump about things. Takehiko was not like this at all when he first arrived in Zariya. He wonders now who among them is the real older brother and the younger one. The way that this guy acts is like a child that scared of anything new. He pitied this guy greatly and thought the transfer may have unleashed a screw or two on this guy's brain.
