Tartarus Planning Session

Sefie was contemplating with the new information that Morticia reported. A which appeared during the wedding banquet of Peleus and Tethis. A sight that was so humiliating when the goddesses including Apollo jumped like hungry animals seeing a piece of meat just to have a title the fairest of them all. She did not dare to join that scuffle because Aphrodite and Athena were the first ones to jump. Her mother made a foolish mistake jumping with the bandwagon along with the other goddesses.

Moreover, her plan was quite simple. Sending someone over and killing everyone. Sefie does wonder what her motive is. Sefie asked the goddess of death. "Why does she want to kill everyone?"

"She mentioned that they needed to collect their blood." Morticia replied.

"That's quite troublesome… how did it appear there?" Yubis scratched his chin. It is indeed fitting as he discussed earlier with Horus and Sefie. The prince and Takehiko have not yet been under her spell after they reviewed the recordings between the two. The only logical explanation would be that Eliseyah needed more essence to fill the golden apple. Blood is indeed a powerful alternative than to the semen to increase her power. She can get the required fluid on a steady supply coming from the men under her spell. "Ticia, can you pull up the devotee list and search for the names of the people there. Include Galvalen, Caelvath and Veris de Floris on the list of people." Yubis commanded.

"Ok. Give me a second." Morticia looked back to her screen and started to pull up her database. She was searching the names of elves that were in question. Alistair, his son Galvalen, Caelvath, the elven king, the ministers. There was a new name added which is Veris de Floris. How is it related to the woman? Based on the last name, they are more or less related.

Yubis was glancing at Morticia's screen from afar. He wanted to confirm something that he had in mind. Based on the profiles that were sent earlier, Veris de Floris is indeed a son of Eliseyah, despite the red hair, she bore a son with golden blonde hair. When he tried tracing the blood line genealogy database, he was a quarter elf. He has been digging and it's quite easy why she wanted to kill the prince. However, if he kills Takehiko for power, isn't that too simple? He wanted to confirm that the people under the spell can be reversed back.

The other thing that Yubis is worried about is the elves. As of the moment, Eliseyah's presence among the elves is quite alarming. They established a system that pooled their devotees together as gods in Tartarus. If one worships Yubis alone, all of the other gods that are affiliated with Tartarus will benefit because Yubis is part of Tartarus. This was pretty efficient specially with gods who are able to do stand-in work like Medusa which does not have a strong set of devotees. But having another god takeover their resources like the elven devotees would shake them and might have them kicked out of Zariya. Elves have a pretty high zeal factor in terms of worshipping gods. That is why Eliseyah meddling with the elves is quite a threat.

"Uhm... I have yet to take the test, so I am not familiar with the devotees system." Medusa sighed. She felt she needed to do something for the elf that was raped. She hoped that as Yubis did mention about devotees, that elf may be spared. For Cosmos, devotees were not tackled as a subject on the test for major aspects but if you have already garnered devotees before you take your test, they are incentive points that help a god with the total rating of the test.

"Most powers of the major gods are depending on the devotees. One can take only so much even if we have an immortal body, and the devotees add to this power. The higher their zeal factor the better power that it shall manifest as god." Yubis explained. He had been a long-time major God and had taken its philosophy. This is why he asked Morticia if the men controlled by Eliseyah using the divine item would interfere as much with the devotee system. "Of course, quantity also matters. Ten average devotees or normal devotees is equivalent to a single zealous devotee."

"I understand." Medusa replied. She wanted to help the elven man. Though she does not know where or how she can help the man. She can empathize well because she had undergone similar circumstances before. That is why bringing up the devotee might give her answer, but she felt she failed to come up with any idea.

"It is better if we should eliminate the assassin?" Horus asked. It is simple that way, if you eliminate the threat, Sefie's adopted child should be safe.

The three gods debated earlier about sending Ryuji against the elves, but Horus made valid points. They are still not sure how the obscure divine item would react since it was just a hypothesis. This may cause more harm to Takehiko than help. Ryuji has some unknown variables that they cannot figure out, especially since there are suspicions of being a demigod, they don't know to whom he is affiliated with. Additionally, he still has the ongoing quest with Vreta. They need to discuss things with her about returning the Chrysalis since that quest is ongoing. Sefie is putting her faith on Ryuji's memories since they are brothers from previous life but is their bond from their previous life enough to protect Takehiko from harm?

"I cannot allow it." Medusa replied subconsciously. All of the gods looked at her even Morticia who suddenly stopped typing. She was embarrassed that she quickly bowed and said, "I apologize for my rudeness. I was out of line."

Morticia went back to doing her task. Yubis looked deeply at Medusa as if he understood something. Horus was confused and tilted his falcon head looking at the snake goddess.

Sefie who knew the details on how Medusa suffered from the conspiracy of her uncle and half-sister way back in Olympus. She watched how Caelvath was powerless to resist someone like Eliseyah and she felt that Medusa, may have watched something uncomfortable to answer suddenly like that. Why would the victim bear the sins of the perpetrator? She wanted to save her son at all costs, but if there is something that could avoid bloodshed while saving her son it would be the best option.

"Indeed, but Medusa is right, we should not kill him." Yubis agreed before even Sefie could say something.

"But clearly the guy is out of his mind. Even if we lose one, it should not affect the numbers." Horus was confused. It's a simple solution, after all the lengths and bearing to watch how the woman seduces his men. "It would be best to even kill the bitch." He added.

"You may be right, but I heard there are already several men under that kind of effect. And killing a mortal like an elf in front of their race, we might lose all our devotees in Valareth." They were interrupted by a deep voice approaching them. It was Hades who just arrived along with Melinoe. He immediately approached his wife and hugged her to comfort. "I'm here now, we will keep him safe." He whispered to her worried wife.

"How was the meeting with Cosmos?" Sefie asked.

"They said that they will need time to review it." Hades curtly replied. They can only play by the ongoing rules in Zariya. A direct manifestation of a god's power to root out the woman plaguing the elves can't be done due to non-intervention, but it can be circumvented if they have a designated agent like a hero or saint to play on their behalf.

"At least this time, they would need to review it. The last time, they denied it out right."

"What made them think to review it?" Sefie asked.

"I've spoken with Lady Karim about our suspicions with a demigod." Hades replied. While Medusa, Melinoe and Morticia have not known about the previous meeting with Ryuji, it would be best to tell them now since he is something to watch out for. He will make a memo to the working deities later about this anyway. The special administrative rule may be reachable if they play their cards right with the goblin. "We can't change the rules for now, but Lady Karim asked us to document everything. So, I would like everyone to ensure all reports from this operation and succeeding reports to be polished and detailed."

"Understood." Everyone replied.

Morticia who just finished checking all the names. "I got it. They are still devotees, but the devotion provided by Emyth, Caelvath and Galvalen were all on the same level as if they were newly baptized human children. Also, Veris de Floris has the same devotion level as them. The other people have a lower devotion if we are to compare the average elf. Alistair on the other hand has higher devotion to us compared to the average elf. As for the Eliseyah de Floris, she is not within our database." She reported.
