"What can I say... when did I manage to get these titles?"

"Let's see... menu... notifications... hmm... it's all off?"

"Hmm... let's see... general notification on, character log on, battle log on, what else? I don't need bullshit from strangers so anonymous messages off, local notice? uh... maybe not. World notice on, and last but not the least, repeating messages off. Good, that will do for now."

After gathering myself, I went straight to the area where the boars would be most likely present. A thought passed my mind tells me that I should go through the rabbits first to power up before facing the boars, but thinking the effort I spent trying to kill the damn thing, I stopped overthinking.

I don't know if the damn thing was always the same whenever I met it but thinking that I have to give it up now after quite a several weeks have happened and the game has already progressing to its first town apart from the beginner town. Thinking about the complaints on the first three weeks, it was surprising that the players manage to progress that far. Whatever, I want to kill the damn thing if its the only thing I would do in the early stage of the game.

Before I will search for the damn thing, I would have to first search for a suitable environment to battle. I mean, that really increases my chances to win. But too much advantage on my side will probably make the boar escape as it had already shown intelligence from my earlier encounters with it.

How do I know that?

Simple.

That damn thing killed me by kicking.

That's right. Color me surprised when I saw it on my death recap. I managed to see its foot extending on one of my deaths after I realized that the damn thing and I had a quite a distance before I died. I thought only horses kick backwards, but I guess pretty much all animals with working hind legs can also do that seeing that a boar managed to kick me to death. I don't know in the real life though. Just having a quick curiosity if boars do ever kick backwards with their hind legs-

I got sidetracked. I stepped on a twig as I regained my consciousness from flying everywhere.

But no worries. I usually don't repeat the same mistake twice.

Found it.

Not the environment I am looking for, but the that damn thing sleeping on the ground while basking on the sun. Considering from all the things I can see, I can pretty much say that the spot it picked is too good to be passed by and to not sleep.

I mean, that place is pretty much radiating aura that tells "Sleep Here", even I am tempted to sleep.

But no! my desire for revenge is too strong for the sleepy atmosphere to overwhelm me.

So I crept around the place to search for a good path towards the damn thing then stalked towards it while making sure that it stays sleeping.

Finding a good angle for the opening attack, I poised a running position before starting off then jumping almost horizontally with [Burst] sending me parallel to the ground.

The situation seems familiar no?

But this time-

[Force Strike]!!!

I successfully cut down my intended target as I watch the chopped off lower hind legs of the damn thing get separated from the upper hind legs.

I timed the completion of my swing to the motion of the damn thing getting up due to being awoken by a sudden intruder.

As I passed by the damn thing and stumbled, rolled and crash onto the ground due to the not-planned-landing. I looked towards the direction where I tossed my weapon. I mean, I may have stab or cut myself during the crash landing so I had to toss it away from me. Luckily, it was away from the damn thing, so I immediately reached for it while the damn thing is still probably disoriented from the lack of its hind legs.

Anyway, its now a meat in a chopping block as it now lost most of its mobility.

Time for revenge.
