Chapter 36; Gone Flirty Bowling ( Part 1)

"I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying."

-- Oscar Wilde

Shrugging I looked around the empty hospital room a curious gleam in my eyes. There was a small bed in the middle of the room it's head board against the wall. A closet that sat slightly ajar a few feet away from it, normal clothes peeking through the open doors. A bathroom sat next to it, it's door completely open, a mixture of pinks and a soft orange greeted me through the open door, peach, the bathroom is based on a peach theme. Giggling I held my stomach at the girlish colour. Poor Peter! I laughed even harder heaving but froze as an emergency bed rolled from down the hallway and past the open hospital door. My nose scrunched up in disgust at the sudden scent, it smelled so rotten as if the skin of that person has long since been dead. Peter strolled back into the room closing the door and glared at it one more time. Then he turned to me and walked over sitting down in his wheelchair but standing once again to wipe the tears from the corners of my eyes from how hard I had laughed.

"Why are you crying? And how are- wait your still a half vampire? " He asks shocked.

" Uh, yeah. And I was laughing at the hospitals poor choice of decor. Well until I smelled that." I say scrunching my nose up in distain. I was surprised by my own nonchalance, I've always hated skin contact unless I was the one who initiated it. But I guess it's fine with Peter sure it feels weird but I still like it.

" Why are you visiting this early in any way? Usually by the time you arrive my legs have given out." Peter says, my eyes widen in realisation he has on and off paralysis.

" Well I'm supposed to go on this triple kind of date and ugh, I'm going with my friend who's to akward to react to normalness." I complained, a small smile spread across Peters face as he placed his hands on my shoulders.

"Just have fun. The Alpha will visit you tonight after the date. So be careful and just be yourself, Kay?" He asks seemingly nervous.

I pause before smiling and nodding but then an idea past through my head, I smiled even brighter giving a crooked and mischievous smile.

"Wanna have some fun?" I ask. He tilted his head, curiosity still in his eyes, he gave a shrug.

" What fun? " He asks.

" You'll see." I say twisting around and pulling his arms around my shoulders and jumped out of the window. A scream of excitement bursting through my lips. Landing softly on the balls of my feet making sure that Peter's feet don't crash against the ground. Instead I pulled his feet up and around my waist line. He shook his head stifling the little chuckle that wanted to get through.
