Chapter 20; (Final Part) Moon

*If life suddenly ends tommorow, would you be able to say you've lived a life with no regrets? That you've always done what came to your mind?*

I wore a simple pink dress, it's patterns weren't exaggerated but they were there and combat boots, tucked with two throwing knives for later that night. I stood in front of a small fence that kept a black hound from feasting on the partiers feet, I leaned against the wall rubbing my eye, the music was to loud for my sensitive ears and the lights were to dim. I saw Scott standing beside Alison as they paused near the pool. I smelled him before I saw him, I looked up and raised an eyebrow at his sudden appearance, and the fact that his clothes looked damaged and tattered. Scott stared for a good amount of time until Alison caught his attention.

"What're you doing?" I hummed softly.

"Looking after, Scott. " He answers and turned into a wolf jumping onto the roof, I acted as if I hadn't seen him my eyes closed. I was going to pass out whether I wanted to or not. Alison took Scott's hand and they walked away and stood amidst the dancing crowd as they swayed to the rhythm of the music. I glanced around my mind wavering slightly. I pushed off of the wall and moved past sweating heaps of blood and flesh, my eyes flashed with pain and I ducked my head, Damm it! I'm sleepy not thirsty!

"Gah!" I hissed as a person stomped her high heels end right onto my toe. Ripping my foot from underneath her I pushed and stumbled my way through, great I'm the most clumsiest vamp alive, just great. I staggered out of the building and doubled over nearly emptying the contents of my canteen onto the ground. It seems I really don't like parties, I'll remember that next time. I straightened up and met with green eyes, that flashed blue for a second.

"Want a ride home?" He asks.

"Why not, why do I feel like throwing up though? " I ask, he shrugged.

" You were in a crowd of teens who were making out and well doing other things. Your instincts as a vampire probably told you to stay away by making you nauseated. " Explains the blue eyed werewolf. I nodded my head but frowned.

"Let's wait for Alison." I say, he nods and opened the black Camaros door, I got in the back and colour drained from my face even more, this is a very bad idea, his scent is all over the place. I tucked my head in my arms trying not to vomit on the leather seats. Derek waited for a while until he saw Scott drive off, Alison got in and looked at me in surprise.

"You're a friend of Derek's as well?" She asks.

"Yes"" No. "

" What? " She looked at us in confusion.

" I say yes, he says no, but I think we're friends so we are, no arguing. " I groaned and buried my head in my arms.

" What's wrong?" She asks.

"I'm sick, that's what's wrong." I answered.

"... Okay." She says. Derek dropped her off and drove off again this time to the woods. I didn't care since I already knew what would happen, my eyes fluttered to a close as my conscious was pulled under a rippling ride of exhaustion.

I woke in darkness, chains kept me in place as my body was punched, scratched, burned, frozen, stabbed and picked at my unseen hands and legs. The water rippled with each movement, with each and every calculated instrument, a scream that I didn't register before echoed around me and with a start I realized that the horrific screams and pleadings came from my usually sarcastic or sweet lips. My breath was stolen with a sucker punch to my gut, my eyes widen as I tried to double over to avoid further pain, but I couldn't move. I was stunned into silence with an electric shock to my side. I know this is a dream, but this is too vivid, it's to painful, I never expected this, is this how dreams are supposed to go? Or is this a simple nightmare meant to scare the bravest of us, a howl of agony rocketed through me as they broke my arms, dislodged my shoulders and stuck needles into my vital points, blocking the flow of blood and effectively making me light headed. Life-less eyes stared at me as they began to glow in the darkness like a beacon of hope. Soon a body followed, it was another serpent, the same size as the other but white in colour. It swam past a crowd of disfigured and oddly shaped creatures and pulled me up and up until we broke through the darkness and into the light, my body still hurt, my mind wanted to shut down instantly, I was exhausted even in the dream. The golden eyes of the blue serpent appeared as it glared at the grey eyed serpent who had brought me back up, they circled around me, clearly prepared for a fight.
