Chapter 29; Mind Game (Part 1)

*Hope is what keeps us on our feet. Hope for a new day, a new tommorow. New friends and new joy. Hope is what we feel each and every day... we just need to act on our hopes for them to come true.*

I tapped answer on my computer and sat down frowning in confusion, who's calling me, now?

"KHALEESI! DID YOU SEE WHAT THE SCHOOL HALLWAYS LOOK LIKE!" Stiles shouted, clearly excited, I flinched as my senses experienced a brief overload. Groaning I cupped my ears and ducked my head, I haven't even seen his face yet!

" Whoops, sorry, I shou- uh, a-anyways.... The school has graffiti and permanent paint splashed all over the place look here." He had began to stutter when I raised my head glaring, he brought a screen filled with photos of the hallways up to the middle. My eyes sparkled and I grinned. Scott sat behind Stiles he seems relaxed.

"I know Stiles, that's my own handy work, or at least a third of it's mine." I say proudly, straighten my back out, wearing a huge smug smile on my face.

"Cool! I liked the dragon art you did that was-wait at least a third? Who else helped you?" Asks Scott having sat up from Stiles bed, excitement and confusion clear on his face. I slumped pouting, before sighing.

"Lidia and Alison. The dragon was Lidia, actually the entire hallway that had a dragon in was Lidia's, Alison was the one opposite from hers and mine leads up to the back of the school. If you guys weren't mad at me I'd probably have invited you to help do the second floor.... but.... ah, well. Any who, why'd ya call, it couldn't just be for something as insignificant as graffiti on the lockers and walls now can it? " I ask tilting my head.

" Your right, Derek was arrested today, the one who bit me, remember? And I wanted to apologise, your right I do need to put more effort into training, I'm sorry I got mad, even if your words stung..... and I kinda wanna invite you to the game tonight. " Scott says.

" Sorry I can't come, I expect it to rain and I'd like to be here when it does start to rain." I said nonchalantly. Scott and Stiles both gape at me as if I was a dinosaur. I broke out in laughter, shaking my head.

"Oh come on! Of course I'll be there you dam knuckleheads. But when it starts to rain don't pull me away from the bleachers!" I say excitedly. Stiles rolled his eyes while Scott grinned from ear to ear.

"Thanks, Khaleesi. See you later today." Scott says and closed the laptop. I shook my head and stood up, they hadn't noticed that I was practically in my bathing suit, not that my hair had turned several shades darker to a soft blonde since it's wet. Guess I'll have to prepare for the game and pay the bad wolf a visit since this is my only chance. I quickly got dressed and let my hair air dry. I leaped from my balcony putting strength in my legs as I did so. Like a monkey my hands caught a branch as I grasped it and flipped myself onto it. I crouched down and jumped to the next tree the wind sailing past me smoothly not hindering my movements not even abstracting my sight. I slowed to a comfortable pace when I reached the streets of Beacon Hills, following the signs to where I needed to go. I paused in front of the hospital tilting my head and inhaling deeply. Wowsers, I'm gonna have to hold my breath. I inhaled once more and this time didn't exhale. I rushed in and quickly walked towards the reception desk, my hair was frazzled and stuck up in all kinds of places, I wore a white dress and white gloves. But luckily they were tinged red so the brown and murkiness of the forest only looks like I was pushed and shoved, a grin flashed across my face for a heart beat before it was replaced with a panicked look. I began to pant making myself sweaty and sticky. There at the reception desk sat a man in his early twenties, well built and clearly muscular, wow what luck.

"H-h-h-hel--elp! H-h!" I 'tripped' as the man stood up in a panick at my appearance. He rushed over and grabbed my elbows, I flinched inwardly but continued to 'stutter and stumble' over my own words.

"Miss... Miss... calm down, take a deep breath and tell me what happened?! " The man yells frantically.

" H-h-hes chasing me! H-he t-tried t-to r--WHAA! " I began to 'cry' on his shoulder forcing tears from my eyes, God this is embarrassing, but fun none the less.

"Is he outside?" He asks calmly suddenly straightening, a fierce look crossing his expression, I suppressed a fit of giggled nodding my head as I bit roughly down on my lips. He nodded and told me to stay behind, he left and I grinned suddenly having stopped crying. I swung around and jumped over the desk, I sat up a virus that erased the footage of me and any that were to pop up today. The virus would fade by tomorrow. I searched the Hospital patient list until I found the right number. Jumping to my feet I rushed away and to the disability part of the hospital, I slowed to a strut and made my way to his room. I slowly opened the door and closed it behind me, then I locked the door up. I turned around and looked at the man who sat by the window, his face was burned to a crisp and he looked.... lifeless. But I beg to differ.

"Hello Peter."

"Vampire." He hissed back barely moving.
