Chapter 28; Little White Night

*Love is a blind thing, there is no guide no definite way, no reason nor rhyme. A river that is filled with twists turns and never-ending waterfalls cascading into one once again, at the end love is unique a feeling that comes and comes and never leaves, just like a river.*

I sat with my legs crossed on the wooden bench out side of the cafeteria, the sun was shining brightly and felt amazing against my skin warming me up. I had three books scattered around me, all of them being texts books from classes I had taken interest in. Scott was mad at me and we haven't spoken in four days, so today's Friday and the day that poor Derek would be thrown into jail, I inwardly smiled at that. I closed the books as I laid on my back, school had ended an hour ago, but I was had told Mr.Mason to let me walk home after school today so I had the entire school grounds to myself, my eyes sparkled as ideas flickered through my head. I sprang to my feet and pulled my bag up from the ground, time to vent some frustrations out. Entering a hardware stare I found several items that I would need and then went to a crafters store down the street. Maybe I should invite Alison and Lidia. I flipped my phone open and scrolled through my contacts and clicked on both their numbers making a group.

'Come to sch at 16;45,wear somth disposable. Both Ya 2.' I quickly typed ignoring spelling and grammar. I picked up the ganister's and grinned from ear to ear as I waited patiently for them to arrive. Lidia's car parked into the schools parking lot just an hour later I sprang from my spot on a nearby tree and carried the shopping bags over, I held them up, tilting my head and smiling like a Cheshire cat.

"Wanna de-stress?" I ask my eyes glittering with mischief. Alison grinned and opened the bags, her eyes slowly widening as did her smile.

"Just this once." Alison says.

"What 'bout you, Didia?" I ask, she crossed her arms after taking a peak deliberating before grinning along with us.

"Yeah, sure. As long as we don't get caught." Lidia says. I nodded and threw a third of the items I bought to her and another third to Alison.

"We'll do separate parts of the school and meet up in the middle. Once you've finished and only the first floor and we've met up then we'll get some smoothie's. If one of us gets caught, bail, everyone, even if the person who caught you had seen your face, run and dispose of your outfits and the evidence. Understand?" I ask gaining a serious expression, they nodded just as serious as me, I broke out in a full-blown smile. "Alrighty then, let's get to it, I pick section C, the back of the school." I say hauling my stuff up." Pick amongst yourselves, see you guys in the middle." I say cheerfully as I rushed into the school grounds and into the school itself. Going straight for the back of the school. I picked the ganister of spray and permanent paint up and began to 'decorate' the school in bunnies, forests, oceans, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, pigs, cats, dogs, basically everything that came to my mind using my spray and paint up in one go, I reached the middle point a satisfied smile on my face. Alison joined me a few minutes later her side decorated in mostly pinks, blacks, reds and oranges with funky looking creatures popping up every once and a while. I high five her smiling toothily at our ' artistic ' designs. Lidia joined us her side filled with pink, pink, pink a bit of blue, red ,orange, yellow and well every other colour there is. But the things she painted were actual monsters, unicorns, dragons and other mythical stuff. We broke out in fits of laughter at our work, when suddenly....

"HEY! YOU GIRLS! CLEAN UP THIS MESS THIS INSTANT!!" We froze as the coaches voice flooded the hallway, his flashlight aiming for our faces, we his our faces in our hoodies but reminded rooted to the spot before I shrugged.

"SCATTER!" I shouted and rushed past them back to hallway C that had an open window. I flipped through it, my hand touching the floor briefly before I flung myself forward, adrenaline coursing through my veins, my heart beating normally. I laughed at the exhilaration of the moment, Lidia's car came to a screeching halt in front of me, Alison sat in the back, the passenger door flung open. I jumped in closing the door behind me as I breathed heavily. We stopped at a crossing a few blocks away from school exchanging looks before bursting out in wild giggles at our behavior tonight.

I entered the foyer of my home, to find the heads of the butlers and maids in a state of panic.

"Where have you been, Miss Rai, we have been worried about you!" Mr. Mason says, more like shouted. I shrugged smiling innocently.

"Oh, I just had a little white night around the neighborhood, watching and playing around with kids." I said and walked past them whistling a show tone from Bucks Bunny the cartoon.
