Chapter 59; Trust

The water rushed around me as I plunged deep within the waters. Bubbles of air made it impossible to see, clouding my vision and creating a miss conception of what is up and what is down, replacing all sense of direction with a dizzying sense of loss. Sea weed wrapped around my ankles dragging me further down from the surface. Closing one eye I gasped as the grip tightened around my legs. It isn't sea weed,I realise. Fire sparked around me devouring whatever had its claws on my skin. Eyes widened in horror when I saw it, the creature had jumped in as well, it swam with great strength easily catching up to me in a matter of seconds. It's claws went to strike at my skin, I couldn't block as it teared through the layers of my skin. Scarlet gushed out from the gaping wound abstracting its view from me. I hope there aren't any sharks around. A bubble bigger than myself formed around me the water draining from it quickly. I fell on to my knees panting heavily as I grasped at my tattered skin. It really is strong....but why isn't my wound healing? Is it because I do t have enough energy....or rather human souls? Crap. I'm sure I won't die but it hurts like hell. The waters were still, no vibration,no sound. My eyes fluttered around searching. A shadow swam passed from above, I grasped the hems of my dress as I twirled around within the bubble my head turning swiftly to look around. It was dead silent. Frowning as my heart rate picked up gradually. Silence is never good. Nor is quietness. I wonder were the twins are? Damm it focus Khaleesi! The bubble suddenly popped and water surrounded me once more. I gasped once before the air was gone. Dang it. I can't summon another bubble. I held on to my wound that still bleed profusely. It burned when it made contact with the salty water. Wait! There isn't an ocean near Beacon Hill's!! I had not ran so far for there to be one. So this must be an ocean hidden by magic. Narrowing my eyes I looked around once more. The ground wasn't see-able. It was covered in darkness like in my dreams, at least there aren't chains dragging me down. School's of fish suddenly rushed in waves around me circling me. Yellow and gold, red and pinks reflected my image as thousands of scales glowed softly in the morning sun light that filtered through the blurry surface. Looking up I calculated the distance but my frown only deepened. It was to far up, maybe the chains had dragged me down? But that can't be. How can chains have their own mind to drag a living creature down in to the abyss of darkness? A brave fish swam closer and nudged the hand that held my wound. My eyes widened, are these fish carnivore? No, they would have ate me like flake if that was the case. (Which is basically fish food, you know that small flakes that fish usually eat quickly whenever they get it? Well like that.) Dropping my hand I watched as the fish nudged my wound,I flinched a little but a soft glow surrounded us.

'Trust us. Give us your name and we'll heal you.' A child's voice spoke softly in my mind,it's voice sounding sad. Trust? I cocked my head to the side.

' Lilium Monte.' Surprised by my answer the glow intensified and the pain began to fade. Was it really this simple?
