In Smith mansion, the Matriarch of Smith family is throwing a fit into her four son.
They were all sitting anxiously in the long conference hall of the mansion's as the old woman is grilling them like hot potato.
She is Mrs. Cynthia Smith wife of late multi billion business tycoon Gerard Smith of SMS group.
"How long do I have to wait?"
Mrs. Smith bang the table loudly that startled the four of them.
"Why did I had four useless sons?"
"Ma, we already did our best but—"
"But what?"
She snapped. The Matriarch is still sharp as she was when she's young.
"You better give me damn good reason!"
Her third son fell into silence, he could not dare to offend her.
"Are you really looking for her or are we just joking here?"
She sat on the chair and look at them in disdain.
"We already waste too much money just to find her. .
The Smith family had four sons and one daughter. She's the youngest in the family a black sheep and rebellious.
Lucille, fell in love with a farmer and lived in their own. She disowned her out of anger but it doesn't mean she did not care about her at all.
Then Lucille finally had a daughter in her own. Her life is rather difficult as her husband made a living out in farm crops, but she did not hear her complained nor had any regrets, not even once.
When she was small, she lived all her life easily and abundantly with just a snap in her hands everything was done and ready.
Before she doesn't understand her daughter's concepts, why she wants to sacrifice on her own when she could have whatever she wanted.
She only came once and asked her helped and forgiveness when her granddaughter's life was at risked.
Now looking at her four useless sons makes her died in anger.
"Too much money?"
She snorts.
"Aren't the four of you living well enough under my roofs and forgets that someone's out there, probably striving hard to survived?"
It's too late for amendments. She died with her husband in a car accidents but luckily her granddaughter was not in that car.
The only problem is they could not trace her whereabouts. She had a suspicion that someone is actually concealing it right under her nose.
The older son was rather lost somewhere. He was thinking about the crime he did twenty-one years ago.
"If you died when you were a baby then you don't have to experience this now!"
He thought wickedly. Actually he bribed the detective and found out his long-lost niece.
"Its pity. .you will just remained a history!"
"We were looking at her, but we don't have any clues in her whereabouts. .she's probably dead!"
They all looked into the youngest son when he careless said it out of the blue.
They all fell in silence waited for their mother's reactions.
She stood up "If she died then all my wealth will go in charities. . I will make sure that none of you will get even a single cent" she walked out.
They were all shocked, their mother is always true to her word. Their older brother secretly took out his phone and texted someone
"Changed of plan!"
But he already got a replied. He opened it with his hands shivering. He saw a picture of a woman lying dead in her bed, bath with bloods.
Raymond, the oldest son suddenly sank on the chair, sweat was all over his body. The air condition in the room could not even cool out the tension and regrets he had felt.
"What's wrong Ray?"
Raymond did not answer he just walked out and leave them confused.
"Butler Joe" Mrs. Smith called her butler.
Old Joe was already in the Smith family long before she'd come.
"I'm here. !" Mr. Joe replied.
"Do you have any news?"
"Madam, as you suspected Raymond had some sort of involvement in this case"
"That bastards. ."
She clenched her hands.
"Did I raised a monster in a face of my children?"
Mr. Joe slightly laughed.
"They're blinded with what they have now. .soon they'll realize when nothing's left"
"Did you have any news about her?"
She felt so tired and exhausted.
"Before it's too late. . I don't know which of them wears a mask while wagging their tails on me!"
"Madam I already send someone to investigate this. .you will have your granddaughter in no time"
She smiled bitterly.
"If I could no longer see her. I already made an arrangement".
She looks around.
"All of this will be yours, you deserved this!"
"You are joking madam!"
Mr. Joe laughed.
"I don't know what to do with all of this. . I have no known family, this old man has been in this family two generation past—best give it to your sons. !"
"No! I already arranged everything. I'm just returning it to its rightful owner. You are still a member of Smith family after all."
"I am but a lowly servants in this house. . If I lost all the Smith's fortune I'm scared you might all crawled in your grave and haunt me down."
They both laughed when Mr. Joe's phone rang. His face suddenly becomes unease.
"I got it!"
"What is that?"
"I should call an ambulance first!"
"Why? Whose going to go in the hospital?"
"You. !" He dialed the nearest emergency hotline.
"Why?"
"After you hear what I'm going to say!"
"Say it!" she demanded impatiently "I'm already dying here!"
"They already found her!"
She excitedly got up into her feet.
"Where?"
Mr. Joe's face becomes uncertain.
"She's in the hospital, fighting for her life!"
The moment Mrs. Smith heard it she suddenly passed out.
"I told you. .we need an ambulance first"
Mr. Joe shook his head.
