The King of Death’s Delima

Sitting down on Neptune, with a fishing rod, the King of Death sighed as he sensed the seal breaking further.

He had been traveling the universe, leaving a clone to deal with minor problems in the Human World, but he was concerned about Kira.

Maybe because he knew once Kira emerged he would die, he had been enjoying life for the first time in many years.

He remembered when he landed on the moon, he was surprised to notice that there was a civilization hidden there. Though they were in suspended animation, it was weird he didn't notice them all this time.

From the remnants and the trace of them left behind, the King of Death concluded they have been around longer than the Shinigami Realm, possibly back to the times of the dinosaurs.

Sighing, the King of Death felt his mind was running all over the place as his impending death approaches.

Looking at the fishing line, he felt a pull at the end of the rod. Maybe he was imagining it? How can there be anything living on this planet?

Reaching his hand out, a black thread manifested, causing a frown to appear on his face. There is actually something living here?

Dismissing the tread, he continued to fish but adding the presence of death to his rod. Unless these creatures were seeking  death, they would not approach him.

While he was fishing, it was just his method of clearing his mind. This was something he learned from his incantations, which is quite effective.

He thought about telling Momonga about Kira and the seal but was not sure about doing so. It was the same as when he was speaking to Kira, he didn't disclose Paradise information. He needed certainty.

He did not doubt Momonga's strength as he had seen his prowess against the universal demons. However, he had also seen Kira's strength.

Kira was able to defeat the Lords of Death, beings who control the law of death, though not completely.

No matter how powerful Momonga is, he was nowhere near as strong as a Lord of Death.

"Let's just wait and see. It's no longer my responsibility to protect the realms. My job right now is to stay outside Kira's range vision." A smile appeared on his face as he thought: The Hunter became the hunted.
