After the following 3 days. Luke ran the track like his life depended on it, his lap records always stop at Lap 15 because Luke's human body already reached his limited speed and if he were much faster maybe he can even reach Lap 20.
Now to the outside world reaching Lap 15 is already remarkable if you're only using your human body but as people nowadays always used their ability or powers, Lap 15 is more of an average score to those high tiers.
But we're only talking about speed and what's really remarkable is Luke's monstrous stamina, and he knows if his speed was even better then he will be running the tracks all day. And only since the training center always limits the time of the students, because of this Luke can't reach Lap 20.
"The track is limiting me now" Luke said.
It seems I have to raise my rank for my training to proceed steadily. As Ms.Silva said there are two options and number 1 is to battle and the other is to do missions, well of course number 1 is like gambling to me since I don't know who will be my opponent and what is his or her ability.
"So number 2 it is" I unconsciously said with my eyes closed.

After careful thinking, I decided I will go to the Mission Hall to raise my ranking. Right now I'm in front of the said building. They really designed the building to be like those Adventurer's Guild in a game, it seems the ones who made this really have their fun making and designing it.
I went inside and saw that the interior is larger than the outside. I think someone with a space ability made it larger in the inside.
The missions were divided into 3 sections. The low tier is on the left side as I can see a gray wooden board full of papers with missions on it. While the middle tier is on the right side with a blue wooden board like the left section. And lastly, the high tier is in the middle with a majestic golden board.
I went to the left section as they were many people like me who wants to raise their rank. I also noticed that the people on the right and middle sections are deserted. Well lets us see what kind of missions does a low tier has.
[Common]
[Collect Herbs]
-Collect Tansan herbs in a mountain
(0/10 Tansan herbs)
CP: 10
---
[Common]
[Help!!]
-Poor janitors want some help
(0/1 hour)
CP:50
---
[Special]
[Here kitty kitty~]
-Find and capture the cat
(Unlimited Time)
CP:100
The missions are pretty normal as they were like those missions in a game. But what is a Cp? and how does it raise my rank? I should've asked the guide for that. It's a good thing there are instructions here.
'How convenient'
[.Instructions.]
•Hi, I'm the instructions, here to give you all the knowledge provided.
1.) Each section has its mission's difficulty respectively. So I recommend you choose your missions according to your rank and if you want to take that mission, rip the paper and you will be sent immediately to that place.
2.) The number of takes for that mission is decided as [Common] are unlimited, [Uncommon] are 50 takes only and [Rare] are 10 takes only while [Special] can be partaken by any students but only 1 takes if the owner desired so.
3.) CP is short for Contribution Points and the total amount for one's rank to rise is 100CP. For example, if there is a mission with a reward of 500CP then your rank will rise to 5 levels.
[That is all and may Gaia keep you all safe.]
I see so that's how it works. Now for the fun part loopholes, it's pretty obvious that you can take any mission you want as long you're competent for it.
I wanna skip to the hard part and get those CPs and I also noticed that my fellow low tiers are only focusing on their own section, there are so many reasons in my head on why they don't want to be close to the middle and right sections.
But since my body is itching to train, I have to raise my rank quickly. Without anyone noticing I went to the right section and totally blended with some middle tiers.
I look at the papers and calculated my survival and success rates, this section really does rely on their ability. There were missions that require to fly and breathe underwater, I've been scanning the board top to bottom and found some that I can take.
[Uncommon]
[Goblin Subjugation]
-They're breeding fast and we need to deal with it fast.
(0/20 Goblins)
CP:150
---
[Uncommon]
[Find an Olikawa Gem]
-Find a red gem inside the Wicky Mountain which is needed for a strength potion
(0/1 Olikawa Gem)
CP:300
---
Those were the only two I've found which is easy for me and there were some I may manage to complete but I don't want to gamble my life to it.
For the first option, I'm confident I can do that since it's about killing while the second feels like a hidden trap for cocky and confident people. The big CP reward, an unknown and bad sounding mountain and also how will I find that gem? mine the whole mountain? I think this is not simple.
With that thought in mind, I grab the paper for goblin extermination and rip it.
