Pool (Part 2)

"Sorry about that, I was a bit of a dick." I apologize after I called them "Amateurs".

It seems I was irritated back there. I know that the twins care about me and it explains their constant warning about Nicholas.

Even though I appreciate the concern but still the words that came out of their mouth. They without knowing it, feel more like an indirect insult rather than concern.

Earlier they were telling me about their experience with Nicholas, they were warning me to be careful with him but what they don't know is that I'm already his student.

Also telling me that the training they've been through was cruel but in my perspective. It was the same before when I was alone with no house and will wake up every time in the streets. So it sounds a bit of an insult to me and the training I did under Nicholas' coaching.

"I know that you guys are saying this because you're concern right?" I sighed and the two nodded quickly at the same time.

"But I'm sorry guys, I'm already training under him" The two were shocked and became quickly more worried.

Before they could question me, I answered immediately that it was my choice to do this and they should accept it.

"I see,...Luke. I understand that it's your choice but if something happens. We're always here." Ken smiled and crossed his arms to portray his manliness but failed to do so. While Kendra smiled at Ken's antics and just nods from the side.

"You both are too good-natured, I fear that you will be taken advantage because of it" I said with a smile. The two were flattered and modestly chuckled after that.

Hm? Nicholas has been strangely quiet since the moment we started this conversation. I glanced at him. Nicholas was standing there with a phone in one hand and a chocolate bar in the other.

'I assume he is recording this, just to tease me later' I thought to myself.

"Luke, you're really lucky to have caring allies" Then from the phone, I hear Garen's familiar rough voice.

'Or not' It seems my previous assumption was wrong.

"Aww...what a sweet moment" A sweet voice came next and thanks to my enhanced hearing, I discerned it to be the voice of Ms.Silva's.

"It's rare to see good friendship these days. Lucky. My cards say that in the future you won't have to worry getting backstabbed. Oooh there's more...interesting" said the young girly voice that came from the phone.

I instantly recognize as it was Ms.Tiana's and from her voice, you can hear the pure amusement coming from her.

"What a heart-warming scene. Luke, if what my dear granddaughter said is true then you have to cherish those friends of yours. Not only that but it's because they are truly adorable" Last was Mr.Will's voice. It was easily discerned as Mr.Will's voice has a british accent. While the last teacher. Null is absolutely quiet, I presume.

"Keep going, I'm waiting for the group hug scene" Nicholas said with a smirk and took a bite on the chocolate.

"Well, Hi Guys. I hope you're having a great day today and thank you, I will listen to your words Ms.Tiana. So Nicholas can we continue?" I thank them for their lovely reaction and also asked Nicholas to continue our trip.

"It looks like you're busy, so I'm leaving first" Garen said, and came a pleasant sound that indicated he left.

"Well, I'm busy too. Goodbye~" Ms.Silva then left and so the other three.

"Farewell, Luke"

"Bye"

"..." I repeat. Absolutely quiet.

Three pleasant sound also indicated their leave. Nicholas turns off the phone and put it inside his pocket.

"It's a good thing you made it clear to these twins that you're training under me and also, whatever happens" He looks at the twins.

"Don't interfere" Nicholas said with a cold and intimidating look. Likewise, the twins were intimidated but nodded soon after.

"Let's go" He said while taking a bite on the chocolate.

We followed Nicholas and entered the massive water park area. There were all kinds of pool inside, many were alluring and were very tempting.

We can just hear the splashes of water and the voices full of joy and excitement. We can see people of different ages having fun on the countless water playgrounds and big colorful water slides.

We also pass through people who were leisurely swimming in the pool, bathing at the splash pads, or just floating in the long lazy rivers. The scene around us was like a never-ending summer pool vacation.

We were also enduring the urge to just jump into the pool. We're here to have fun, swim, and relaxed by the pool. Right? But here we are walking passed them while also enduring the heat of the fake sun in the sky.

It looks like our destination is very far as we were walking for quite a while and so was the park, as the place was really vast and filled to the brim with different kinds of attractions.

"What is this place? Just how was this even possible to be built? Who managed this place?" I was amazed at how many pools and slides I've seen so far, not only that the twins were also fascinated by this.

"Mm, ya know. Robots" He replied.

"Ah yes, Robots. The answer to all my questions but why robots? Aren't they vulnerable to water" After I said this, I hear the sound of someone making a smirk from in front of me.

Nicholas turns his head in my direction. In his face is this giant smirk and eyes that gaze at me like an idiot.

"Well, Duh...Waterproof." He said while raising one brow to mock me.

"Alright, We're here" Nicholas stops in front of this white dome.

This white dome was made of unknown material. I assume that the material is not from Earth. We walked near the entrance and just from the outside, we can hear violent waves colliding inside the mysterious dome.

"Nicholas just what is inside of that dome?" I asked and he replied.

"Just my private pool. So let's go inside"
